if you need a smog cert, this is the place you should go. Even without an appointment it only took 15 minutes or less, I took a short walk to McDonalds for a cone and the car was ready to go. If you go their site you can get a coupon too! Travis is great, no wonder this place has nothing but 5 STARS, I would give it more than that if I could. This is a great place to get your car smogged. The first time I took my truck in it didn't pass so I had to make a couple of repairs . Travis is a great business owner the second time I came in for a retest there was an issue with the machine, Travis called me as soon as it was fixed. Hi. I wanted to take the time to tell you about Travis and Smog Shop. This guy deserves an award or to be featured on CNN's Good Guy report. I was worried about my car passing. Not for any reason other than it being a 2003. I had called Travis the day before and he was very kind, said 'come on down'. I did not. But I did call the very next morning and I left a message, telling him I would be in before 10am. When I arrived he said hello and addressed me by my first name as I was getting out of my car! I trusted him immediately. I expressed my concerns about my car, since my tags were due and I needed it to pass. He explained to me the process and what the system looked for. I was concerned because I had just driven 1120 miles. He said as long as your battery hasn't died. I was then more concerned because during that drive I left my lights on and my battery died in a rest stop. He said,'no problem, let me just check it ahead of time for you'. And he did and my battery was fine. I was in and out in less than a phone call to my sister. He gave me a couple business cards and as it turned out I got to give one away at the DMV to an older gentleman who was just told to go get a smog test. That made me feel good. I hope the gentleman looked him up. I would trust my grandpa in Travis's hands any day. read more

This smog shop has had my car for three days waiting for a part to fix the smog machine. My car didn't pass it's first test, but I paid him $50. plus a $29. tip for spending the time trying to get it to pass. Didit not pass because he smog machine was broken. I don't know, maybe. I only know that my car has been there for three days waiting for a part that needs to fix the broken smog machine. I am giving it one more day and if it isn;t done tomorrow the fourth day in custody, , then I am taking my car out of there.and going elsewhere. read more

This is my second smog check here this year...the first one was with my 2010 Audi A3 TDI--which passed despite being embroiled in the Dieselgate Scandal. Today he checked my 2001 Nissan Frontier, which DMV requires a STAR station certificate (this place is Star Certified)...it also passed. This place is also a Test-only facility which I recommend because he won't (and isn't allowed to) hustle you for repairs.
