As everyone says, the place is easy to miss-right next to the Shell Station. But you can't see it easily because it's set back. And yes, it is helpful to have your car backed up so that it's easy to leave. I did go to McDonald's for breakfast while having the smog check done. Would highly recommend. read more

These guys were great. I pulled up and he told me it was $50 for the smog, and would take ten minutes. My front license plate was hanging as one of the screws got stripped, and I asked if he could fix that for me. I realize this isn't what they do, and I told him I would be happy to pay an extra fee. They fixed it right up (took longer than the smog itself) and didn't charge me extra! I felt I was so well taken care of that I didn't mention the discount for the yelp check in, I was super appreciative and happy to pay full cost. read more

My car is 11 years old now so I've had to get two smog tests to date. Both times I went to Smog Solutions and I've always been in and out very quickly, usually around 15-20 minutes. I was in and out in less than ten minutes AND there was someone there before me, which tells you how efficient they are. I truly like this place Francisco was very helpful helping me with my car. I have a 97 Honda Accord. I was afraid that my car wasn't going to past and I didn't want to waste my money. This is a small shop, set back from Venice Blvd immediately east of the Shell gas station on SE corner of Venice and Overland in Culver City.
