I'd suggest you go to a different location, immediately! The inconsistency in pricing and lack of customer service by the General Manager, Evan is a big concern. I've been to this location several times and he questioned me as if I'm unaware of the environment I've been loyal to and driving to. I'm not sure if training is an issue but this location lacks consistency and alignment as a team when it comes to products, customers and communication. It's frustrating because this place is so close to my house, but I won't be going back and I'd suggest you don't either. If you're looking for consistency regarding respect, pricing, quality and overall customer service, this isn't the place for you. Terrible quality glass. Save your money and go elsewhere. Stopped here on a visit to Houston to procure my smoking needs. Was a bit shocked when a small glass pipe no bigger than my index finger and a single lighter ran me $32 Was even more shocked when that overpriced pipe cracked in half the first day I had it. I am not the type of girl you would find at a smoke shop BUT this place sells dokha, which is extremely rare in Texas. The staff is very nice so even though parking sucks, I feel like the people here make up for it. I called ahead and they were very helpful right away! Plus the prices are very reasonable! read more

Best modern smoke shop in Houston in my experience. New merchandise and the latest vaporizers to keep you vaped. I usually come here once a month to get more hemp rolling papers; this place always has the best selection of different paper, cone, or blunt wraps that I may want or need. They also hold some of the best; top of the line glass on glass water pipes with ice catchers. Some smoke shops have only a few and the ones they do have you can tell have been sitting there for awhile. They even have the more old school water pipes that are cheaper; oh and I love getting the in scents. Again; so many choices. Like a kid in a candy store. read more

It was really refreshing to shop somewhere that knows how to run a business. Came in recently to purchase a new dab rig and all the accessories. The staff was very helpful in showing me their selection, and provided outstanding service. They have some beautiful glass, and yes it is a little pricey however I believe the quality of the glass and service make it more than worth it. They have a nice selection of incense too! First of all, I had been shopping here for several years, and was my go to shop since moving back to Houston. Now this place is rip off, price gouge central. Seriously, you could get a bit of a discount if you paid cash. John, one of the managers (who no longer works there), was super friendly, had solid taste in music, and always set me up proper. Since visiting back I wanted to get into sub ohm vaping, needing a new battery and was convinced to get the Triton tank by their current manager. I had a budget in mind not knowing the 'real' online or other B&M store prices. I thought to myself 'hey, I have been coming here for several years, they will be straight up and give a fair price'. Boy was I wrong. I will call the "Manager" Mr. Beard. So online or at other stores you can get the same setup for around $80. He charged me $140. Mentioned this to a friend after he tried my new setup, and told me I paid a wee bit too much. Almost a double price, and the "Manager" straight up lied to me saying he was 'giving me the best price' since I was paying for it in cash. I checked the price tag on the Triton tank was listed at around $55, but they charge me more than the list price! Are they pocketing the other money? I would never ever accuse someone of something like that if it was not so blatant. I went in and mentioned this very politely and wanted a reason why they ARE CHARGING DOUBLE, EVEN IF PAYING CASH. He said that was the price, I paid, zero returns. I said well could you help me out, since I over paid and could have bought two setups for what I bought. I'd like meet in the middle and see if they could work with me on my next purchase. He bluntly said 'no'. Mentioned well I won't be returning there ever again, and left INCREDIBLY disappointed. His own words where very halfhearted 'well, hate to loose a customer'. Mentioned this to another friend that had used to shop there for a long time and said the customer service has severely gone down hill. One of them waited close to 20 minutes when it wasn't busy to even be acknowledged. Will never return here. Sad since it was my first smoke shop I came to moving back to Houston. read more

Very limited supply of Kratom- 5 strains in powder and 3 in caps. No triple cores for Vaporesso. When your go-to spot is out of something your in need of, this place makes a good secondary place to go to. Decent selection for your smoking needs. Let me say, however, that the location on Richmond is waaay better. Today I came In looking for some cigarette RYO tobacco at the Montrose loctation. As soon as my friend and I walked in, I noticed the guys behind the counter were behind the register looking at video and texting on the phone. After giving ample time for someone to acknowledge our walking in, I said "Excuse me, sir" "Yeah, brah" he says, STILL, with his face glued to the phone. "I would like to know if you have RYO tobacco?", I ask. He responds with, "Yeah, brah" He showed me where the tobacco was and I asked to see two of what they had. I did not like the ones I picked and asked to see all of them so I could compare. "I can't do that brah," he says Ok, no problem, as I was looking at the others on the shelf, he says "They are all the same, brah," he says, hurriedly. "Ok, which one is like Camel?", I ask. He shortly respnds, "The one you have, brah." I wanted to think about about.....I went over to my friend, and she had more than one pipe on the counter comparing them. What?!! I thought, Did the guy think I was going to run off with the tobacco, or was that just a rule, to not have more than two items on the counter? Then as I was looking around, the guy "followed" me around the store. He woulld then go in the back every time i came from out of sight. I felt pretty discriminated against, but I know he was just doing his job. The thing that really got me was that the guy I first talked to did not seem to want to help me, and gave me the feeling that he was trying to rush me out just because I was just getting tobacco. I go to the location on ?Richmond and I love the staff there. Especially the elder lady and gentleman there!!!!. I feel respected as a customer there and after all, my hard earned money can go elsewhere. Next, I am not your "brah". I understand that maybe a head shop has alot of slang in in it. But don't try to patronize me. If you don't think I would be a "good" customer, them remember, I am a PAYING customer and I would like a little professionalism and I think that my purchases goes to a paycheck somehow, right? read more

Smoke Dreamz is a joke. It is clearly ran by people who are not glass blowers/collectors that are there for one purpose only PROFIT. I walked about of their store within 5 minutes, the employees are clearly just family members of the owner and have no knowledge of what they are selling. The place has such low end glass and Chinese made pieces it is a joke. I really hope that no one visits this place and actually spends the little bit of extra cash to ride down Westhiemer a bit and go to a REAL glass gallery/smoke shop. read more

I have to give this place 5 stars for starters the selection is great! They have something for everyones budget, from $5 cheapies to $1,000 dollar connoisseur pieces that any avid smoker would appreciate. 5 stars for the customer service, the employees are very patient and always take their time with you to make sure that you are very happy with the piece you pick out. My wife and I have gone to the Richmond location at least 4-5 times and the customer service is always top notch. So when we saw that they had opened one on Westheimer a bit closer to our home we decided to go there and pick up a new piece and some incense. Trust me if your in the area you gotta check out the 2nd Dreamz location you will not be disappointed. The review from Josh down below does not sit right with me because glass blowers do what they love which is obviously glass blowing but above all else they have to make a profit to pay their rent and simply just to eat. Don't waste your time here, they will rip you off. I have come to this location a few different times and for the most part have enjoyed the ease of my transactions. I kept coming back because I felt like they weren't trying to bleed me for money and that they were being more helpful than predatory. I bought an attachment for my e-cig here last week that they assured me was the best for what I was looking for and the best on the market. I was name brand, yadda yadda yadda. And it was only $49.00 but they would give it to me for $45.00 (as he peeled the price tag off before I could see it.) I was in a hurry to get out so I grabbed my goods and left. That very night I dropped my e-cig and broke the glass tube that surrounds it. No biggie, I ordered the parts on ebay for practically nothing...but when they arrived they didn't fit. After a little research I discovered that not only was the product I bought a knock off brand (and therefore I couldn't buy a replacement part for it) it also only cost about $10.00 online, after shipping. The name brand product is only a few dollars more. I called and spoke to the manager Joe about this, who told me he doesn't know how I could have gotten a knock off brand when they only sell the real deal...unless they can't get the name brand, in which case the Richmond store sends them merchandise. He didn't have the replacement part but could order one for me to buy because these things break. I explained I didn't mind paying for the replacement piece but was upset with being charged an arm and a leg for crap as well as the fact that they lied about its quality and name brand. I was told he would give me a really good deal on a new one if I came in. There is not a chance I would spend another penny here. Obviously he didn't understand my frustration but hopefully I can save some of you from the same. Don't shop here. read more
