I did not get sick or anything, but my cousin said the same thing when I gave her a piece. It didn't taste odd but there was nothing special about it. None of the meats had a smoke flavor to them. The brisket was dry as my skin in the winter. My cousin ordered the Texas twinkie and it was hard as a rock. The potato salad is straight up nasty. I don't know for sure, but I do not think the food is cooked at the restaurant and perhaps microwaves are used to reheat the precooked food. Service (4 stars) Bartender was extremely patient while waiting to take our order. Recommended one of the in-house beers. Atmosphere (4 stars) Seems like they have a decent local following. I would go back and sit at the bar and enjoy a beer. But never going back for a meal. Cleanliness (3 stars) Bathrooms are not clean.

If you want Texas style BBQ Ribs you can't go wrong at Brad's Pit BBQ. Of course, they offer brisket, sausages, pulled pork and more. BTW Brad's is next door to Locavore Beer Works so if you don't want to take your BBQ home you can go next door, order any of a multitude of craft beers and they will deliver your food to your table. The crispy pork was also juicy, and just enough crispy skin without being so hard to break teeth. Prices also aren't bad, I think it came out to $50 for what we ordered along with a large amount of rice and two diet cokes. This place is spot on. Service was great too. I said no problem as I was gonna do groceries next door to HMart anyways along with the other customers as well. Came back and had to wait only a couple more minutes, I can tell they were pack but no problem at all as I was very happy to see some very fresh, crispy, and awesome looking ducks being brought out to hang so was super stoked right away. The roast duck is my familys favorite and this time came out even better than before maybe because it was so fresh. Ctispy skin and tender meat packing with awesome authentic flavors.
