This humidor carries pretty much every well-known, low to high end, cigar brand that you could think of. However, the products are damaged by the lack of humidity control inside of the humidor. They were selling wet, sometimes even moldy, cigars that were too far gone to be smokeable. I could hardly walk around the humidor without slipping or getting my shoes wet. There were literal puddles of water inside of the room that contains some of their most expensive product...It's a shame that they let all of their cigars sit in such horrible conditions. read more

Stopped in for a grinder for my wife for...ahem...dry herbs. The employee who greeted me at the door - a young woman, probably a college student, with a pierced septum - followed me in a slightly sinister way, making it quite clear that she was suspicious of my presence in the store. I feel kind of bad for her actually, this job must be a real drag and it seems she was pressed into doing this by the even more sketchy manager/owner - a lanky gentleman with sunken cheeks and empty eyes. She should really get the hell out of there - I mean, I can't imagine the pay is that great and having "Smokedale" on your resume will probably only lead to further jobs in sh!!tty tobacco shops or maybe the odd adult film store. Maybe she enjoys the employee discount or the health care plan? As I made my way to the grinders I asked her a few questions as I looked at them. She replied that she didn't know anything about them. I asked if anyone in the store knew anything about these devices and she very sharply responded "no." I then asked to look at a larger grinder on the top shelf to which she immediately responded "that one is fifty dollars" and I had to ask again if I could see it. I could tell from her tone that she doubted I could afford such a princely sum, so that felt good. She let me see it and I fumbled with it as I tried to open it until she took it back and explained how it worked. So, she does know something about these devices, after all. That's odd. I selected one of the grinders and as I was about to purchase it I asked the lanky gentlemen whether the store had an exchange policy for products that don't work. His eyes showed a hint of outrage and then he looked away and said firmly "no." I turned around and walked out without buying the grinder. A very strange way to run a business, but I guess they make most of their money selling cancer to kids. Those enjoying healthier natural delights should opt for the Electric Fetus or Know Name Records for knowledgeable and more sympathetic service. This place is just depressing. read more

If I could give zero, I would. I don't use "herbs" (like it appears most customers do [judging from the products I saw taking up most of the floor space]) other than the occasional cigar. I will normally only frequent quality, established venues for my cigars. Since the weather was nice today, I took a stroll to Smokedale. Wow was that a bad decision! They mark up random brands that have "fancier" looking labels. Half of the quality inventory was molded!! Their walk-in humidor is clearly being managed by individuals that know nothing about cigars. The room was too humid. WAY too humid. All of the cigars were disgustingly mushy. To make matters worse, some pink haired high-out-of-her-mind sales associate came in and awkwardly followed me around the tiny humidor. She didn't ask if I needed help, just followed me. Mind you, I had just left work and was dressed professionally, so I don't understand if she thought I was going to steal or what. Very odd. Upon checking out with my 1 cigar, because I just felt weird and I tend to sympathy purchase small things when I only mean to browse (bad habit, I know), she couldn't count my change properly. She then managed to drop all of it, and then missed some that bounced off of the register... Didn't raise a fuss because it was only ~50¢. I went in yesterday to buy a phantom vaporizer was advertized at $190 the first store only had a broken one and sent me a half hour to another location. went to the maplewood location to find it on the shelf at 190 but by the time they poulled it off the shelf the sticker price said 269.99 when i talked with the manager about it all he did was remove the 190 item off the self and wouldnt match the price from the other store and generally showed bad bussiness and they lost all my future business from this. thats a 70$ markup and a 2 hour waste of time these people gave me read more

Prices and pieces are okay, have bought 4 pieces in total from this place. Owner is really quiet but he won't bite. Staff could be more polite but it's not like you're there to lounge for hours. If you know how to use the 420 sale it's amazing , and being a VIP member has MAJOR benefits, however I was the first sale on 4/20 and they were suppose to be giving away prizes and even had the ad playing overhead announcing free prizes to first 1-200 guests. I've been coming here a long time and know you can get quality glass here, and cheap I can't speak for vapes or anything else but you can find a small rig or water pipe for under 40 bucks that isn't a standard downstem? Would be nice if you hired people who knew about 14 and 18mm sizes, but I've learned myself ..
