I've been to this shop a few times, but yesterday, I decided to stay and enjoy the lounge. If you love cigars and relaxing in that environment, you will enjoy it. People and staff were friendly, and you felt like you were not a number. The staff cares about making you feel comfortable and provides all the necessary accessories (lighters/cutters.) I stopped in about a week ago with some buddies. First off, we all felt very welcomed. Secondly, they have a tremendous selection in their humidor and prices were fair and affordable. We got to sit down and enjoy our cigars and enjoy some football. This place is by far the best around. It has the best employees that are so helpful. Very fun, laid back atmosphere with loungers that are so comfortable. Huge tvs when you want to catch a game while smoking your favorite cigar. Fun card games, amazing events, and other merchandise. I won't be going to anywhere else. read more

I don't have much experience with cigars, I typically just smoke whatever affordable cigars I get my hands on but I felt like exploring a little more this time. I explained my situation to Johnny and he kindly walked me around the humidor and made 10 recommendations based on my taste preference. I bought all ten cigars and put them in the humidor. Over the last few weeks I have enjoyed each one of them. Some more than others, but I appreciate him taking the opportunity to show me some cigars that fit within my preference, and a few that exposed me to different styles. At the end of the day, cigar shops can be weird places. Some are very unfriendly and dismissive, but this one was friendly and catered well to my inexperience. Really friendly, comfortable shop and lounge. I stopped in when I was in town for a funeral, and happened to be staying at the hotel next door. Reading reviews of this shop was one of the reasons I picked that hotel, and it turned out to be a good call. I went in and was greeted by the guy running the shop, who was overseeing a friendly poker game. He asked me if I needed any help, without being too pushy, and checked up on me when I was in the humidor. Sometimes at B&M cigar shops you get the sense the staff is suspicious of you, and they follow you around their humidor. I understand why they do this, but it's not the most welcoming feeling as a customer. I'm pleased to say the guy at Smoker's Etc didn't do that at all. The selection in the humidor was nice. They have plenty of the usual national brands, as well as some nicer boutique stuff. It's always a good sign when a shop stocks Warped and Illusione. They had plenty of Fuente (including some Opus and the Don Carlos Personal Reserve), I *think* they had Liga Privada, no Davidoff that I recall, plenty of Crowned Heads, Tatuaje and My Father, as well as a few other one-offs that were nice to see. Everything I bought was properly humidified and in good condition. Didn't see any mold or any signs of neglect anywhere. The lounge itself is very laid back and comfy. Big, older leather furniture sets up nicely in front of three large tvs on the long wall. I don't believe Ohio law allows them to sell alcohol, but regulars bring their own. I was invited to help myself to a drink out of their shared refrigerator. Very nice touch. Prices are very much in line with a B&M shop with Ohio taxes. Obviously you can get everything much cheaper online, but that's not a fair comparison. The pricing is very fair for the experience of buying and smoking in a shop. I still have some family in the area, and next time I'm back to visit them, I'm definitely going to carve out a couple hours to head over to Smoker's Etc for a stick. read more

Just a follow-up. Prices are about 30% higher than other stores. They do have a great variety and a nice size shop. But, the service definitely needs to raise to the level of their markup if this is expected to be paid. read more

Large selection, decent size walk in humidor. Prices may be slightly higher than some other places but the quality of the cigars due to the proper humification and temp is why I buy there when I'm in town. Looking forward to visiting the new location once open. read more

Great spot to smoke a stick. Brand new building and a lot more space for fantastic small batch cigar companies. The owner Mike is a great guy and very welcoming and can answer your questions about cigars if you are new to the game. The lounge is free to smoke your purchases in and has very comfortable leather club chairs and 3 monster big screen tv's with tons of channels; great place to hang out and watch your favorite sports and BYOB. They also have big events at this place... The last one was a Camacho event and they had a big camacho tour bus with booze, cigars, girls, and all kinds of contests to win prizes.
