Food was delicious the ambience was great a beautiful restaurant . Friendly staff and owner. Had a great time. That night had live music with Gloria Rivera she was awesome.

    Brisket Dinner

Overpriced & Underwhelming. I arrived at 5:45 pm with three other tables already seated in the dining room. It took about 5 minutes for someone to greet and seat me. I ordered the brisket dinner with bacon green beans and a small side salad. The salad came out quickly but the dressing had zero flavor. The brisket and green beans took a bit longer to come out. The brisket was very dry and had a strange flavor. I asked for some BBQ sauce. It came out in a small soufflé cup and was all sugar. The "brisket dinner", if you can call it a dinner, was $22 and the small side salad was $8. I am traveling for work and I wanted to like the place but unfortunately it was not good. I gave two stars because the waitress was very nice.

Lets talk BBQ!!! I grew up in the south so i know good BBQ. Went on a Monday night for dinner. Pretty quiet, LOVED the music. Nice, chill blues to get u in the mood for some smokey BBQ I had the brisket with the potato salad, BBQ beans and corn bread on the side. They have a selection of BBQ sauces u can choose from, I picked the classic. Brisket was good, a bit dry which is which im giving them 4/5 stars. The classic sauce was good, a tad bit too sweet for me. I cant wait to go back to try some other things on the menu!

Had the holy smokes, took a bit we were the only customer 30 min but didn't mind once they brought food the chicken was hard the beef brisket was dry and the pork was stinky (a$$) food was bad will not come here again (microwave delight). The waitress was nice but forgot our nachos brought after main course wanted to try the pastries before i had the food after no thank if its going to be the same as good. To many places that are good skip this one.

Dipping in liquid gold (cheese sauce) was a nice touch. The coleslaw had a good flavor and good crunch. White bread, pickles, and onions are available on the side. Drink options are canned sodas and bottled water. There are lots of interesting sounding sandwiches available too. Service was good. The dining area is small but had a variety of seating options. Overall I liked it. My only dislikes were just personal preference. I prefer a sweeter, less vinegary bbq sauce, and I like a finer cut on my cabbage in coleslaw.

I love a great wood fire pizza and this place is excellent. Small with a few tables, but filled with so many choices for both pizza, other items, and drinks. Love that they have a great spot to sell out of a window to those visiting the park area for events (SMART). The choices for pizzas had me wanting all of them, but I finally settled on the Sticky Finger and the Joker. I was so impressed with the Sticky Finger that I still think about those flavors all together. It was a perfect fit for my palate and I loved it. The Joker was also great and the hubby loved it. We had a peach old fashioned to share (needed that before busting our butts on the ice rink, liquid courage) and the staff was excellent with keeping our waters filled and making sure we were well taken care of. PROS: Great spot downtown, next to event center areas Wonderful choices to fit all tastebuds in pizza choices Cocktail choices that are fun CONS: Parking, at the center near the ice rink (you can walk there though)

It was the perfect bit of sweet & savory. Their vegan pizza is also quite delicious. It has a wide variety of toppings that make it so tasty. My husband got their Philly bread special and loved it so much. Unfortunately he went to get it again & it wasnt available. But we will be keeping an eye out for it! He got the potato Pizza & enjoyed it. Only downside is that it is on super thin crust. Not really a save for later thing since it makes it more soggy unless heated in an air fryer. The service is good too. They answer questions and are nice. Might just have a longer wait if its a busy time of day or weekend since theyre downtown.

Funny enough, we had visited a sister restaurant by the same owners in Miami a few years ago and loved it. The menu was different (more seafood based) but the vibe was the same...laid back, fun and in a super cute setting. We sat in the bar area and we're there for happy hour. Honestly folks, you can't beat the happy hour prices for both food or drinks. I went with a glass of wine and hubby had a beer on draft. We decided on fried pickles because who doesn't love them? I know fried pickles and wine... Not the most common combo but that's how I role. For our entrees we both had chicken. And let me tell you, it was cooked perfectly. The crispy skin was amazing! You shouldn't be shocked that I ate the skin, I had just finished fried pickles so I knew there would be nothing healthy about this meal!! The biscuit was also very good. And did I mention the happy hour prices... Bonus!! Our waitress was the bartender and she was so great. She was warm and friendly and made our great experience even better! I actually complimented her for her service, she was so above and beyond and was surprised to learn she hasn't worked there that long. I think her name was Michelle, but sadly I waited a few weeks to write this review and now I'm not positive (def not an Elite move).

We stopped for lunch on a Friday at 11:45pm and there were only a couple tables open. This is a small place (think authentic 50s diner, not the kind with pictures of Elvis and reproduction Coke signs), with maybe 30 people max seating. Whatever you do, don't judge the book by its cover. The owner (great guy!) gave us menus and took our drink order. We split a 4 pc chicken dinner with mashed potatoes & gravy along with mac and cheese. After a short wait, around 5 mins, he returned with our meal, and he already had it on two plates for us. There are no frills here. Exactly what you order is what comes on the plate. No garnish, no flourish. But man oh man, is that chicken gooooood. The skin is crispy but not fried hard so that you think your teeth will shatter. The seasoning is just right - super tasty! The meat is moist but not underdone. This is the kind of chicken you remember from grandma's house on Sunday. Or in this case, Pa's house. I travel all the time for work and I always tell people that the best chicken is at the chain Pizza Ranch (don't laugh until you try it). Until now. I cannot put into words how good this is. All the sides were handmade, and you could tell they really care about the food they put out. After we were finished scarfing down our food, we decided to try something else and we ordered a cup of their cheese potato soup, which was really good as well. We also grabbed a couple cookies on the way out. I cannot wait to take my family here; I think they are going to love it and be pleasantly surprised like I was. This is one of the only places that has ever lived up to online hype, I will be back often.
