Smokey Bones seemed to have a bit of an update! We've gone twice recently and Jelani took care of us on both occasions. He is awesome! Always has a smile, patient and quick turnaround! Our food always comes out correct and hot! He checks in on us and even offers suggestions of other things to try! AJ was one of the best servers I've had in a long time. She was pleasant and made sure our first experience was one to remember. The food is very reasonably priced and I love the bbq/smoky options, if you do nothing else, try their baked beans. If you are even slightly considering eating here or giving this "old faithful" the benefit of the doubt, DON'T DO IT. Go back to the search bar and try again because everything about this place is tragic from beginning to end. The writing is literally on the wall so please hear this cautionary tale. Issue 1 - We saw all the terrible reviews on Yelp but remembered what this place used to be back in the day so we ordered anyway. Issue 2 - We ordered pick up online and the website was weirdly glitchy. We figured maybe it was just something odd on our end. We also noticed that the prices went up but quantity of wings decreased. But again overlooked it... Issue 3 - We arrive to pick up the food at our designated time and was told the food wasn't done. We waited 25min and apparently our food was done all along... but they couldn't "find it". This means our food was done and waiting for us for 25+ minutes Issue 4 - While waiting for our food that was "lost", we saw countless people go through similar issue-- food isn't ready, staff can't find order, and orders are missing items. The staff was always confused and it was clearly chaos. (And no it wasn't busy in the restaurant because nobody was eating in there) Issue 5- We ordered JUMBO wings and received the smallest wings I've ever seen at this place. (look at the size compared to a regular sized fork!) And they gave us mostly drumsticks and sprinkled in a few flats. So almost 1 hour later, I have cold, small chicken wings smothered in watered down sauce. I am NEVER coming back. Will never recommend. And will never forgive them for serving these "jumbo" wings. read more

Had dinner here because the other restaurants around it were on long wait times. Ordered meat nachos, full rack of ribs, double burger and the bonfire for 2. Food was mediocre at best, establishment was semi-clean but service was TERRIBLE. After taking our order, food was delivered by another staff member. We needed plates, ketchup and water. Never received any of those 3 things and we asked multiple times. Was absolutely absurd how many times we asked for water. Would NEVER eat here again. They were totally slammed! Still, the staff was cool and cordial. Baked beans were delicious, charred corn just needed a little salt, pulled pork was tender and juicy but not as smoky as I like. $6 for a draft Angry Orchard was pretty reasonable. I got a few drinks and ordered some wings at the bar and some to go, she rung all of them up at regular price, and they have BOGO today(Monday). Buy 6, get 6 or buy 12, get 12, so im paying $20 more co 24 wings. She let me pay $40 instead of $20. Funniest part is, someone right next to me said BOGO and she honored that. I thought that was customer service to just say well you know we got this today and when I order my food at least mention it, I decline and only want what I order, not on you. Well, I finally went to Smokey bones today for their all day happy hour but I wasn't happy at all. There was only one person at the bar and he was overwhelmed. As I waited a while to order I went to the bathroom. DISGUSTING! The toilets were dirty, the baby changing table had weed residue as if someone was rolling up a blunt. What made it worse was an employee had just walked out from the bathroom. I know she saw it need s some freshening up! I asked for the manager and he did apologize and empathize with me. I never went back to see if they cleaned the bathroom. I ordered my drinks so it wasn't good, I don't know if the guy knew how to make drinks. It was a simple strawberry margarita! I told the same manager it wasn't good, I was brought the incorrect drink.. His communication was so off and I wasn't pleased. This was my first time here. Sooooo. Being the penny wise Connoisseur that I be, the chance to catch the special of a 1/2 rack of ribs for $9.95 was more than I could resist. Unfortunately, others must have realized the benefit of such anniversary pricing and ate up all the half slabs... Fortunately, for $5.00 additional, $ was able to have a full slab,more than my greediness could even contend eith. My sides. Mac and cheese was just good, not spectacular, but good. It was cheesy and flavorful... good. I went out on a limb and got the cornbread as a second side, which was delicious. The honey butter gave it a finger licking presentation that's hard to beat. I ate here on 1/10/26 my first impression when I walked in was very pleasant, the food smelled great and the staff were excellent in greeting and seating me right away, the restaurant was moderately crowded. Now we get to the food and drinks, I had a neat burbon ( high west) and peach ice tea they both were delicious. I wanted a beer but their beer selection was mediocre at best but basically trash beers, so no beer for me. I ordered the half rack baby back ribs with fries and bbq baked beans with brisket in them. First take was the presentation, they looked half cooked with ketchup on them. My first bite tasted average, they weren't fall off the bone, mostly I had to bite it off the bone, not tough but not real tender either just average, like cooked with no enthusiasm at all, just adequate. The beans were Campbell's pork and beans with brisket in it, super average, no wow factor at all....This place is a chain and it tast like one, mission bbq even taste better than this place. Okg who knew Smokey bones was throwin down like this !!!! Offering a late night happy hour from 10pm-close on Fridays I went to go check it out. Reminds you of a large lodge/cabin upon entry. Decided to get the happy hour nachos, chicken sand-which, and boneless chicken bites. When I say everything had flavor...I WAS SHOOK !! I enjoy the Smokey bones concept, a style of cuisine that has American/soul food, with BBQ sauces from different regions on the table (as a bbq sauce connoisseur myself.) I was seated quickly, and the server and host were nice. Ambiance is great, open concept, some TV's, plenty of booths. I ordered a sweet tea, for $3.59. Good size, fair amount of sweetness. 6.5/10 3 pretzel sticks with cheese were the highlight of the meal. Soft, the right amount of salt, and the cheese was out of this world. 10/1" The cornbread was good, even though I'm not a cornbread guy. Sweet, and the butter added a great touch. 8/10 (probably a 10/10 if you like cornbread) I ordered the burger Medium, and it came out well. The meat was tough, the cheese was stiff, and there wasn't a good feel to the weight/balance of toppings. Luckily, they took the burger off my tab, so I didn't have to pay for that. 4/10 read more

We were there for a birthday party. There were 11 of us. We had a reservation so we got seated quickly. The server was very nice. She made sure to check on us and check in that she had all the food correct. The food was about a 3/5. Nice sized portions, flavored well, but the meats were a little dry, except for the chicken I'd give the chicken 4/5 stars. The cornbread was my favorite part! All in all it was alright. Stopped by @Smokey Bones for a fellas night with Dad. The location is nice with TVs for sports. We were immediately seated and our sever Brian was waiting all the tables and helping out at the bar but this didn't stop him from giving us great service! He was friendly, helpful and funny which we appreciated. Our food arrived hot and fresh by none other than, you guessed it, Brian! That's right this man in a man of many skills from waiting tables to hooking up my "Tropical like it's hot" drink. We ordered the cornbread appetizer with butter pecan honey butter and crispy pork belly lollipops. Both items were excellent and we really enjoyed the flavors. We then moved onto entrees and decided to get the "Bone fire" that came with different types of meats such as ribs, sausage, chicken, steak, wings, potatoes, and peppers and onions. SMOKEY BONES RESTAURANT delivery order: 1) Shopped menu items online; Pre-registered with Smokey Bones Restaurant (membership) before realizing I had to back out of the app and replace meal order with Grubhub. During telecon with Restaurant employee, I was instructed to download Grubhub app. The discount reward for Restaurant Membership was not readily applied to our meal order of the day. 2) The large potato wedges in the meal were black and dried out and other items hard and overcooked. At first sight, I thought to scrape off a heavy seasoning from the potato wedges but quickly learned that the black appearance was caused by serious over cooking (burned throughout). 3) Presentation means a lot! How does one serve up clearly burned foods without regard for the client and the meaning of service. It is an unscrupulous act that transcends the employee's employment and beyond. I recovered from the trash some items presented here in a photo, to indicate the size of the tiny rib bone; evidence of black potato wedge; and the unusual size of the food containers. Two (2) meals arrived overcooked and scrambled in the corner of each over-size aluminum-like container. The food containers were large enough to surely accommodate 10+ times the meals each contained. It took a while to identify exactly what was bunched up in one corner of the oversize containers. The ribs were a sampling but with great taste! The portion served could be contained in a closed hand. Did I order this? Moving beyond portion and appearance, I recall that when I accessed the Grubhub app there appeared one but I ignored that, and it is not something I normally do. We all should pay attention or pay for not doing so! What I did pay attention to was the faded, almost unreadable receipt and the fact that I do not see where Smokey Bones "New Membership Reward" was ever applied to our order. We come here from time to time. Just went here to celebrate my grandmothers Heavenly birthday. Food is always good. Sides could be bigger. I had the smoked wings, corn bread and baked beans.
