Terrible experience. I found hair in my food and called the restaurant to request a refund. Instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the issue the manager immediately dismissed my concern and stated that it was "not possible" because their employees wear hair nets. The conversation ended with the manager hanging up the phone. The customer service is terrible. Unfortunately this location showed no accountability, professionalism, or concern for customer service satisfaction. I will not be returning. read more

I ordered on Friday a grilled chicken sub that came with fries and a fish and grilled shrimp platter with crab sticks. The sub was the only thing decent. The fries were overcooked and lack any flavor, and the fish was a greasy soapy mess, the shrimps were overcooked and tough, and crab sticks were over fried and extremely hard. I've come here numerous times over the past 7 years and it's a very solid wing spot. Nothing too crazy but pretty good for the price point. I have noticed that the consistency can be lacking at times. There have been times I've had wonderful wings and other times that I'm left a little disappointed by the quality and dryness of the wings. My go-to flavors are Lemon Pepper and Honey Garlic Pepper. I understand that with inflation everything has gone up. I ordered 15 wings and it was $21.00. They gave me two dipping sauces which may cover 1/2 the wings, thus I asked for another one and they would not give it to me. This is the 3 time the service has been poor and I am not going back. The fries are always perfect: crispy outside and tender inside. No limp fries here. The sub sandwiches are a great proportion. The cheesesteaks are decent. I have not tried the fried fish but that seems to be a very popular choice, after wings. There are various cake slices of different flavors available. They taste reasonable, if you have a sweet tooth. They are moist with a homemade flair. The restaurant has tables, chairs and usually a game showing. I would not call ABW-South Bowie an eat-in restaurant, though. While the set-up is welcoming to wait on your food, the chairs and bright lights do not give off a sit-down and leisurely eat vibe. It's more, take a seat at the table, have a fountain drink and watch tv till your order is ready. That's fine. You can go home and tear into your wings without worrying about your table manners! All right the only reason why this is getting to three is because the chicken wings were juicy , burger was tasty and it was delivered quickly. Other than that the food was rather bland. following instructions was not their forte and they forgot items to the actual meal itself like some of the drinks. I would not recommend the steak salad. I live in Largo and although their is an America's Best Wings five minutes away, we drive to the Collington Station location to get our food. The service is excellent.
