Happy hour burger. Upgraded to sweet potato fries

The smoked wings were delicious. Great Happy Hour specials. Margaritas were perfect. Nachos used old stale chips, would have been good if you could chew them... Mac and cheese is a hard pass! Dry noodles with sprinkle cheese melted on top with a ton of salt and pepper. Just nasty. Our server Bre was running that place. She did awesome handling the bar area and making drinks, running food, doing expo.... We've been in the industry for years so we recognize and saw her working hard. Music was old school cute. Should just give the kitchen crew the aux with their Drake playlist playing. lol. Restaurant was clean and had lots of TV's for sports.

My finance had some food delivered to me as a surprise so of course I was excited. BUT the steak was bone dry and over cooked, the broccoli was over cooked, the my did nothing with the potato besides boil it and the mac n' cheese was good but the cup wasn't full and the wings weren't completely cooked or seasoned. This was a major disappointment. The only thing they did right was deliver it while it was still warm.

If you want great tasting barbecue, try Smokey Bones (you won't go wrong)! Exceptional food and customer service. Look out Sonny's Barbecue!

It has been years since I have been to a Smokey Bones. We happen to come across the place while driving to Newnan in Peachtree City. I remember I had a loyalty card and it can build up perks on it depending on how often you go. I didn't have any of those needless to say, but I did have a coupon from an email to apply towards the order FTW! There are decent lunch specials and there is one on the Yelp app after checking in, which was for a sandwich and a side. I wasn't feeling a sandwich and went with a loaded pulled pork baked potato and Caesar side salad. Everything was so good and the cornbread was easily shared among all four of us. Don't forget to get the butter that the cornbread includes. Our excellent waitress did a wonderful job with taking our order and having it brought out in a decent amount of time. There are plenty of televisions to watch while waiting for the food if you're not talking. Our table was cleaned up as needed and the staff made sure we had everything we ordered.

Won't be ordering from Smokey Bones again. It's always been hit or miss and the most recent meal we had was a miss. You pay way too much to receive a "miss" as a meal. The ribeye was MEH, the potato was TINY, there wasn't enough broccoli and the salad... Lame. We were full but not satisfied after this meal.

To go is faster that trying to get a table.

I arrived at 4:45, hoping to beat the dinner rush. Most of yhe restaurant was empty, there was one family ahead of me. I was told there was a wait. 1 hour later, 30+ families left because the wait kept growing. Tables remained empty, I counted 17 employees all looking like they were filling to go orders??? So I ordered to go, pickup. 15 minutes late my food was ready. Still haven't been paged for my table, 90% were empty now. Ribs tasted ok, but were very tough. The Brunswick Stew tasted like a can of tomato sauce. Cole Slaw was good.

    Can hardly break the cornbread.

I had heard of Smokey Bones and seen them in other states before but never visited. It was on my bucket list and when I saw the Peachtree City, Ga location my husband and I decided to give it a try. The restaurant was almost empty but the service and the food were wonderful. The ribs were falling-off-the-bone tender. So naturally the second time I went I expected the same experience. This time I ordered on line, picked the food up, and took it home. First, the ribs were dry like they had been reheated a couple times and had very little meat on the bones. Next, the Brunswick stew I ordered, with an upcharge, was missing. And the cornbread loaves, with another upcharge, were hard as bricks. I called the store and spoke to the manager who said he'd have to talk to the district manger and call me back Monday. He never called. I called again and talked to the district manager who said he'd have to talk to the manger and would call me back. He didn't. I then emailed the corporate office and again no one has contacted me. This is totally unbelievable! That's three levels of management that have ignored me as a customer with a legitimate complaint. I see why the restaurant was almost empty both times I visited. So my only recourse is to never go to another Smokey Bones and to write a review of my experience.

Two containers of ranch dressing for 24 wings. These aren't even 1/4 full.

Prices are high. The dining area is much cleaner than it used to be. The only item I've found to be worth the cost is the Memphis dry rub wings. And yes, they are dang good! But check your ranch dressing when you get your pickup order. No kidding, these containers for 24 wings may be 1/4 filled at the most.

    They have a full bar.

The restaurant atmosphere was great. They have a bar that was well stocked and televisions around so that if you were watching a game you could see nearby. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. We placed our order and it was hard to choose because everything looks so good. The food came out out tasting great and the drinks were good. The ribs were tender and the flavor on the wings was great.

It's been years since I last visited any Smokey Bones restaurants so I was excited about the chance to sit down at the bar and have a brew and some bones. The experience was like I remembered, good food, good service. They carry a large tap selection of beer, but I stuck to my normal Moc Ultra. I got a small rack of ribs which were served hot and well seasoned.

The bartender also handles all to go orders. She was a ROCKSTAR! They set you up with a place setting & menu to start. The bartender is constantly working & attentive to everyone. AMAZING SERVICE! FOOD (4/5): As soon as you sit down you get complimentary pickles (unlimited)! Took about 30 min for main dish to come out. Not bad given how packed this place was. $29 BISON SHORT RIBS (+$1 sub ASPARAGUS for CARROTS): I really wanted to try one of their bison dishes and it did not disappoint! Fell off the bone, so tender with so much flavor 10/10, would HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Comes with mashed potato & a sweet roll. We both ordered a popular bourbon cocktail (I can't remember what it was called) and the 12 hour boneless short ribs. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate peanut butter cake. Everything was delicious! Negative remarks: * We wish there was more meat per serving (the short ribs were $25). * After we finished eating, our waitress disappeared for 15 minutes. It's always sad to me when this happens, because in my opinion having great food is the hard part. Seeing them excel in that but fail the easy stuff is hard :( What they struck out on: - host and hostess chatting when we walked up, they seemed to be complaining about something. We didn't receive any smiles. Didn't feel like they wanted to be there. Yes I understand it's a job, but warm welcomes are important and they are the first impression for a customer when they walk in. - It was 80 degrees and dreadfully humid outside since it had been raining. They had the doors open and I didn't see or feel any fans or air conditioning running. I saw a patron using a hand fan while we ate. - Since there was no air conditioning running, all the steam from the dishwashing and cooking in the kitchen came out to the dining area and lingered in the air the entire time we ate. We thought it was smoke at first but it didn't have a smell, when we walked out to leave I felt the steam leaving the kitchen area - Unbearably loud. I'm not sure why the acoustics are so bad but there is just nothing absorbing any noise. All the ruckus just echoes. Pretty sure this was mainly due to the tables being somewhat close together and the chairs having no sound buffers. It was suuuper loud when people got up to leave and when bussers were cleaning the tables. - Out of the fried green tomatoes which we were excited to order. - I ran out of water while eating. My drink didn't get filled until maybe 10-15 mins later. - Our waitress was running around, very busy. We didn't get checked on that much. It wasn't her fault. She was very courteous and was working hard. They seemed to not have enough staff on hand. - The napkins shed everywhere? When I opened my napkin a cloud of lint came up from it. It was all over my black shorts when we left. - Ends of the tables were all scratched up. - Decor is a bit of a hodgepodge. Having fake candles at each table for a place that gives southern farmhouse is an interesting choice. - The pimento cheese plate came with only 5 mini pieces of toast. We had to ask for more which was an upcharge. There's no way all the pimento cheese could be eaten on 5 pieces. Their home runs: - The food was amazing. I really liked the steak frites. I ordered the steak medium. It was nice and tender. The fries were seasoned and crispy. The chimichurri sauce was great. My friend and I both liked the pimento cheese and the bread that it came with. We weren't crazy about the house pickles. My friend loved her caesar salad. - The prices are great. Super affordable for high quality food. - Menu is expansive. - We had no wait to be seated. - No trouble parking. Location is convenient. As you can see, the list of cons is very very long. It was truly an odd thing to experience, since the place had such great food. I'm thinking the Curious Pig needs a restaurant management consultant or something? We might try this place again sometime later. We'll see.
