All meals come with complimentary rolls with the cinnamon butter ( hot and fresh!!) Steaks were cooked perfect, delicious marbling. You can also choose your steaks if you prefer, we always like to pick which steaks we will have for dinner. If you ask the hostess if you can choose a steak that will send someone over so you can put a ticket on the exact steak you want. We came here for my son's birthday on Christmas Eve. I definitely expected it to be packed and a wait. Rachel was our server and she was kind. My issues were them not baking anymore bread. We were told there was a hold on bread and before the server could finish the statement someone came by very rudely and said it's no more bread. I feel like you shouldn't allow people to come for a certain time if you aren't going to give them full service. So we were definitely unhappy about that. Hostess fail. I watched as multiple party's of two come in after me and get seated before me. And, yes they checked in the exact same was as I did. When I asked about my table, I was greeted with a condescending, "we are just waiting for the table to be cleaned." As I then watched other party's get seated. It was almost like the programmed statement. Similar to the one you get a chick fil a.... " my pleasure". Nonsense. This location has been known for poor service all around. The dining room is unkept and table service is at best horrible. The franchise is doing well, but won't survive poor service no matter how low they drop the price of a steak. Today is my husband's birthday and we decided to celebrate at Texas Roadhouse in Newnan, GA. Thought we would have a drink, a Long Island, to celebrate his birthday. It was awful. Tasted like a sweet tea with extra sugar and no alcohol. The manager just happened to stop by our table and asked how everything is going and we told her about it and she tells us all alcohol sales are final. She switched from pleasant to as though she was reading a script and now a mean robot, saying there are signs posted in the building and on the outside of the building. From where I was sitting I could not see a sign. My husband got up to go look for the signs and five minutes later came back and said he finally found one in the building. He said it was a small sign you wouldn't even notice. That should be posted on the menu. The drinks are happy hour drinks that cost $5. This is a good way to help him bring in 42. The fried pickles were too salty, had to return those! Although I would say the steak was good! I didn't think it would ever happen. Eating at TRH at countless locations around the country and many times at this location, I finally had a bad meal. When TRH comes up in conversation, my input was always "I've never had a bad meal, not once ever." That was lost when recently my country fried steak was extremely tough and poorly breaded. Two separate bites I had to spit out because I physically could not chew it enough to swallow. Also, please fill the butter cups. My family frequents this restaurant quite a lot, probably once every two weeks because the food is just that good. The managers are super friendly and out of the many times we have been here, we've only had one bad experience in which we did find a hair in our food but the manager handled the situation quick and super nice. Important note to add is that whenever we order broccoli, we always tend to get more stem than florets, which is odd but maybe we should ask for less stem? Other folks received their appetizers before we did and they ordered theirs after us. Ordered food. The Prime rib was dry (and it was ordered rare), they forgot one of the sides (which one of the people never received) and the beef tips were dry as well. The one server did not deliver the dishes to each individual, it was passed around like a "family style" setting. One of our people did not want another sweet tea and the server brought one out (the server should have asked instead of wasting the tea (like he did)). We have a running joke in the family on how many times in a row we can go and ask for prime rib on the weekends before 6 and now during the week and not have it available. I was so happy to find a Texas Roadhouse in Newnan. I had been in and out of stores shopping and had worked up a good appetite for some steak and a good drink. Texas Roadhouse immediately came to mind because we know we would get a good fulfilling meal. It did not disappoint. I have to say I didn't even know their was a location in Newnan. I have passed it many times but it sits down in a valley a little bit from the road so you can easily miss it. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon. There were people outside waiting so I said wow I hope the wait isn't too long. It was actually about 10 minutes. That was good for a wait time. No complaints. I asked for a table and was seated. Our server Kenzi is bomb!!! She is so good at what she does. She actually told us about the app online and helped us with appetizer suggestions. She was super knowledgeable about everything in there including toppings for steaks that we did not know about. The food here is just plan ole hearty good food. I had a sirloin steak that was melt in your mouth. However next time I will get a ribeye. My friend had one and it was huge. OMG. The rolls we have to keep from inhaling and swallowing so quickly. Haven't been to ole TR in years and man, I missed those rolls! Recently came through for my dad's birthday and an early Mother's Day meal with the family. We decided to hit it up on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm, thinking we would be slick and get their after the lunch rush and before the dinner rush...we was wrong! This place doesn't seem to have "slow" times, just busy and less busy. Even with the crowd waiting, we were told it would be about 25 minutes and it turned out to be about 35 minutes. So, all in all it wasnt a bad wait and they have plenty of covered outdoor seating for you to hang in. And if that isn't your thing, you can hang in your car or run an errand as they take your cell phone and text when your table is ready. Once our table was ready, we all headed in where you are greeted by the steak case, where you can pick your steak out if you know that is what you are there to devour! All of our party had steak on the mind, but none of us were decisive enough to pick our meat out before sitting...so, we left it up to the professionals. Upon seating, the one noticeable difference from my last visit to this was the cleanliness of the floors and the missing pales of peanuts on the table tops. This is clearly due to the pandemic and to be honest, I wasn't mad at it. The peanuts are still available, but they are in barrels around the restaurant in sealed packages, around the same size you get at a baseball game. The one plus here is you can easily take em to go or grab a bag or two on the way out. Food wise we loaded up across the board with most of the table getting the combos of steak and shrimp or steak and ribs. Per my family, everyone's steaks were cooked as requested and the other parts were decent however the ribs were a little dry and the shrimp were over seasoned on one plate. Neither was enough to cause a re-do, just notable for future ordering. Personally, I am somewhat of a Country Fried Steak connoisseur, so naturally I gravitated towards the Country Fried Sirloin with white pepper gravy. I had romanticized this very dish, as I remember it from years ago. The crispy breading, the meaty and massive piece of steak all topped with a creamy and peppery gravy...man, I was really pumped for this dish! Sadly, it missed the mark this time :( They had to have changed the recipe over the years, as this cut was paper thin, the breading was crispy along the edges and the gravy was borderline bland...oh, and some part of it was extra salty. I guess next time, I will have to switch up my choice as I don't think I can withstand another CFS heartbreak. While we are on the subject of salty, we all started with an order of Fried Pickles. Those pickles, even after being breaded and fried made all of our mouths pucker up...those pickles gotta be in an extra pickly brine! They were still tasty, but had to be enjoyed in moderation for sure! Service was fantastic! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and attentive from start to finish! Additionally, I let him know it was my Dad's birthday and he made sure he got the crew together to sing to the ole man and dropped a great little brownie dessert off for him to enjoy. I ate at Texas roadhouse at least once to twice a month and love it! They are always great and if you get something that isn't good, you just tell them they will take it back and bring you a new one. I'm allergic to cinnamon and one time I had to send the Sweet potato back three times and this was the kitchen manager. I think Brent he said he would make it right each time and do it himself. The fourth time he had his manager, make it and guess what it was correct. By this time I've already eaten my entire meal. Other than that, I love this place. My wife in and I went in to celebrate our birthdays on the 28th. We got a reservation for 2 and it took about an hour, but since we put our name in ahead of time on the website we waited about 10 minutes once we got there. I have never seen so many people in a Texas Roadhouse. We were told that there were still 300+ people on the waitlist after us when we were seated. The food was delicious, no complaints whatsoever from us. My wife got a fillet and it was very good. I got chicken critters & ribs. Can't go wrong with Chicken Critters. The real standout was our waitress, Kellie. She was worth the visit alone, if I could give her 6/5 stars, I would! She was sweet, funny, attentive, and extremely personable. Do not try to walk in here and place a To Go order. They make you go out side and knock on the kitchen door, where a child meets you with an ipad and takes your order, then asks for your payment so they can go insode and ring it out.
