    Happy hour

Food and drinks are what you expect from this chain. However this was my second time here sitting at the bar and service wasn't great. The bartender Dee caters to the regulars leaving others to beg for attention from anyone else walking by. I don't remember the name of the Spanish bartender that did end up helping us but if it wasn't for her I'd be giving one star. I wouldn't come to watch sports at the bar due to the poor quality of some TVs.

    Freezing

My family and I were craving bbq over the last few days. We were originally at a different restaurant down the street that had a long wait. We called Smokey Bones to see the wait time and were informed there was no wait. We arrived and now see why. It is freezing in this restaurant! My phone says it's 64 degrees. The manager stated the heat has been out for over a month. They were only given 3 small space heaters by corporate. We weren't informed of this issue when we called, nor when we arrived and were seated. Everyone in the restaurant had on their coats and gloves. Not only was the restaurant cold but sadly our food was brought out cold too... A totally disappointing experience at this restaurant.

Good service food came out fast but was really cold in side the building I ate with my coat on and I'm a pretty heavy guy

I dined here a couple of days ago, because I kept getting emails about a $14.99 special on ribs that came with 2 side dishes. When the server brought the food out, it looked beautiful and it was so delicious. I really like their sauce with the blue top on it. I would definitely recommend the restaurant on Route 256, because the waitresses and Staff stick together just to keep the place running. Thanks smoky bones Staff for making my day. I will definitely be coming out back soon.

I've ordered take out from this location possibly three times. Just two days ago I ordered the Rib Feast with wedges and a baked potato. My order was set to be ready by 12:10a and I arrived at 12:16. The curbside pickup was easy and quick but the food was COLD. This is the second time I've had this experience. Thankfully I was going home so I could warm it up but why should I have to?! Are there not warmers available? The ribs literally fall off the bones, which i love but having the deal with cold food....super disappointed.

    Bag of overcooked donuts

Had a late lunch The menu's were sticky on certain pages. For the appetizer, we got the mini Loaded BBQ Mag-Nachos. That was pretty good. For the main meal, we chose Robert's ribfest for two. It comes with a full rack of ribs. Your choice of four regular sides, garlic bread, and either an appetizer or a dessert. I chose the bag of donuts and added a side salad. The sides were baked potatoes, fries, and the fir roasted corn. The sides were good, but my rib had a lot of fat and gristle, so I sent it back. The sweet tea was weak and not very sweet. The ribs are very light in color and not grilled. It had a light smoke taste. The bag of donuts half of them were overcooked the ones that wernt tasted good. If you like bland unseasoned food, go here. Hickory House or City BBQ has no worries. The waiter Alexis was very nice and friendly. My daughters to go order had a penny at the bottom of it, and once we finished our food, a water bug crawled on the table.

The tomatoes on the burger were diced, not sliced. I've never had them that way, but it worked. The french fries were really just about perfect. The place wasn't crowded--just two staff members were present--but it did take a little while to be acknowledged. There was someone ahead of me who I thought was in line, but he was actually waiting on a DoorDash order. It seemed like the staff were preoccupied with that, which delayed them noticing new customers walking in. According to my husband, the menu changes frequently. I browsed a bit and decided to go with a classic chicken cheesesteak--just mayo and banana peppers. I got it as a combo with a drink and onion rings. They only offered soda or water for drinks, and I do wish there was an alternative like juice or tea. I'll admit, I wasn't expecting much since we're not in Philly--but let me tell you, that first bite changed everything! The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the cheese was just right, and the bread was the perfect texture--not too soft, not too hard. It was seriously delicious. The onion rings weren't your typical rings with raw onions inside--instead, they seemed more like a crispy, flavored version with a mild onion taste, which I actually preferred since I'm not a big fan of onions. We also ordered a cheeseburger meal for my kids (not listed on the menu but available), and my husband got the loaded Philly steak fries, which he really enjoyed. All in all, the food exceeded my expectations. I'd definitely come back, especially for that chicken cheesesteak!

The smoked turkey is smoked to perfection and retains it's juicy goodness. The sides are also very good with green beans and brisket baked beans are go to's. But this most recent stop at the Reynoldsburg location turned out to be a win. I hit the drive-thru after work and happened to land on Rib Bone Tuesday: 4 ribs for $1.99 each. Quick service, friendly staff, and my food was hot and ready without a long wait. The ribs? Surprisingly great. Thick, smoky, and tender with a nice bark. No undercooked sauce or surprise cartilage -- which I've unfortunately experienced here before. I did ask for center cut (as I usually do), and while they say that request can't be passed along, the bones I received were solid. Texas Toast was a nice add-on -- buttery, griddled, and came two for $1.99. A note for the longtime City BBQ folks: I do miss when they used to offer self-serve condiments -- red onions, jalapeños, and pickles -- along with all the sauces in pump bottles. Now, some sauces like the Original come in peel-top packets, and that just doesn't feel the same. Also, while I didn't grab it on this trip, I stand by this statement: City BBQ's potato salad can hang. Possibly better than your mom's. Could be better than your granny's. I said what I said. All in all, I left satisfied and would definitely go back -- especially on a Tuesday.

We had an excellent meal there. Atmosphere is really cute. What kind of cabinet like a lodge -exposed walls. It's very woodsy feeling. We came here as a party at five to send off our friend to Maryland We started with pretzel bites. The forst batch came out really brown. They looked over cooked. They didnt taste great. We had a new batch put in. That came out just as disappointed. Would not recommend these to anyone. Save your calories. We also learned we came on all you can eat rib night... Which we didn't know was a thing. I'm letting you all know it's a thing and it's a good thing!!! For $25 (which is less than the normal rib meal) You can eat all the ribs you want and get two sides! That's quite a bargain- come hungry. The ribs honestly fall off the bone they're so tender and they're not slathered and sauce. They do have some sauce on them, but the sauce is perfectly seasoned and it doesn't feel like you need any additional sauce also is an excessively sugary which I really like I was quite surprised as I'm not a big huge rib person. I would get the ribs again. Id pay full price for these ribs too. They were legit good. You get two sides with this meal. I chose a salad and a baked potato Well, I chose poorly- both the salad and the potato were actually good. However, the salad was huge and I was full after eating it. I shouldn't of ordered the potato. Its bery basic. I should've ordered the green beans. The green beans are crazy good!they give you a lot. they're also super fresh, delicious and seasoned... I know this because my husband got them and he focused on ribs -so he didn't eat his green beans, which meant I got to eat them later when we got home. Nom nom nom nom. They have a shrimp pasta carbonara which my friend ordered and holy smokes is that huge and delicious looking. She says that and the chicken parm are amazing and her go to when she doesnt get ribs.
