My wingman and I were chilling out at Treaty Oak Distillery having a few cocktails and enjoying watching round 3 of the Masters. When by pure coincidence I met a couple who I have not seen in years. We mentioned that we had cigars but it was too windy to smoke em. They said there was a chill cigar bar right up the street. We watched Tiger make a par on 18 and off we went. We were greeted immediately by Allison, the manager, and given a quick tour of the venue. There are comfy seats and a small bar area that serves beer, wine, and water. The humidor is laid out very well and their cigars are stored perfectly. Allison patiently explained that there are two sections in the humidor the usual favorites and "her" boutique cigars. I selected a beautiful light Nicaraguan rolled cigar. This baby smoked smooth right down to the label. The lounge itself is ventilated nicely so you are not smoking in a haze or smoking your cigar and other guys cigar as well. There was also a good beer selection. We had a blonde ale from Two Wheel Brewery in Buda. Good choice. Smokey's is a chill venue, friendly patrons, and professional knowledgeable staff equal 5 stars all day! read more

I really wanted to like this place - as I need a local cigar shop- but you cannot overlook their blatant disregard for local COVID requirements. First, the shop is quaint and located in a very cool shopping area off of HWY 12. They also have a decent selection of classic and unique cigars. That is the positive. However, they are selfishly thumbing their nose at COVID regulations. The staff does not wear masks or require patrons to wear them when they are up and about. There is absolutely no social distancing and it is usually packed to overflowing on weekends. When a business refuses to abide by local and state guidelines in something as serious and life-threatening as COVID, it makes you question where else they ignore health and safety protocols. I do not trust that they keep their shop or the tobacco products safe and sanitary if they are unwilling to adhere to these basic guidelines. This should be a MASSIVE red flag for anyone thinking of shopping here. I do not trust an establishment with this mindset, nor the local authorities that refuse to enforce these rules. I love Smokey's Cigar Lounge. Nice people, great owner. I disagree with the reviewer who knocked the location due to COVID protocols. We quarantined with each other for months. We stayed 6 feet away from one another. I know; I was there nearly every day. It's difficult for any business who had to navigate the tricky waters of early 2020's pandemic onslaught. It was new territory for everyone and significantly different messages coming from authorities in the "know". And with all that being said, you have a fairly recently opened small business trying to survive. IMHO, anyone hating on this establishment is welcome to stay away. Just in town for a couple of days but forgot my cigars! My brother recommended Smokey's 5 minutes from the house. We went in and bought a bunch of cigars. When I got home and opened the $5.00 wedge cutter it broke. Not a big deal but when I opened my cigar, it was so dry that it started to unwrap. I went back the next day and they made everything right, above and beyond what they needed to do. I will definitely visit next time I'm in town. read more

I'm so glad we finally got a cigar lounge in Drip and Smokey's doesn't disappoint. I didn't get to sit and smoke but I saw how relaxed everyone was. I love that many of the cigars in the humidor are made by guys in Texas, especially the ones by a veteran who lives nearby. How cool is that? Make sure you talk to Allison too. She gives you the low down of every cigar and helps you find the perfect one for you. She's really nice and very helpful in her descriptions. If you haven't been, you don't know what you are missing. Locally owned and operated, this place has it all. Great selection of cigars - my head was spinning with how many options but not to worry - Allison was there with all of my questions. I'm def not a cigar aficionado but with the staff's help I was able to find a great smoke. I was impressed that they support local cigar companies and go the extra mile to make the everyone feel at home. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

I had the pleasure of meeting Chris while he was at Treaty Oak Distillery. He is so kind has has a wonderful comfortable and just flat out super neat airstream! I am glad this place is in Dripping Springs. It's a cozy spot that sells cigars and pipe tobacco. They also have local beers and some wine. Friendly staff makes it feel like a family business. Excellent ventilation. They also have outdoor seating on the covered patio. One recommendation to the owners: consider selling one or two styles of high-end cigarettes. read more

I was lucky enough to find Chris for my wedding. We thought their airstream would be a fun "man cave" addition to an otherwise very feminine wedding...boy were we misguided! Half the bridal party and many of our female guests ended up checking out the cigar bar and loved it! As a woman, I feel like creating a space where women feel welcome in what is traditionally considered a masculine space is a clear indicator of the quality and professionalism of their business. Not only was Chris helpful, very communicative and and priced well - he and his wife were so much fun to be around! They both made our day special and unique and I highly recommend them for events. They definitely went above and beyond to ensure the day was special and went smoothly. The airstream itself is luxuriously appointed and classy. Their cigar storage and bar amenities were top notch and I'm sure their huge tv would be great for sports games and such. My wife and I were Visiting from out of town and they made us feel at home right off the bat. Great staff and the "regulars" were very friendly. If you're super pretentious and think you can smoke a cigar through a Covid mask.....it may not be the place for you. OTHERWISE it's outstanding!!!!!
