Visited this place while in Austin and I will return. Great selection of cigars and the staff and local members very nice and welcoming.

It can be intimidating for two girls to go into a cigar lounge, but Ty made it so comfortable for us from the very first greeting, to waking us through "the vault" with their various choices of cigars, even through the lighting of the cigars properly. The space itself is very well arranged and their backyard with the fire pit makes you feel cozy and at home. Things to note: (1) this is a BYOB (bring your own booze) establishment so come ready with your favoring spirits/beer/wine pairing. (2) come ready to try some new brands that are very well balanced and so worth the deviation from your favorite big named known brands.

In Austin on business and wanted a cigar, didn't want a pretentious cigar lounge, needed a laid back place - nailed it. I can't say enough great things about this place. Big walk-in humidor. I told them what I smoke and was steered to something only a handful of shops carry - this place and the rest in South Florida. They know their stuff. A couple of TVs in a really relaxed atmosphere with down to earth cigar smokers. Fire pit outside with a bunch of seating options too. They've got a stage out back as well - I wasn't here when anyone was on stage but I did build a roaring fire and just relaxed. I highly recommend this place.

Yo this spot is cool as hell! It has a great vibe and energy going with it. The owner is by far the coolest guy I think I ever met. He knows so much about cigars and will walk you through it step by step. They had live music playing in the back and it was a nice time out. They also had the game playing while we were in there. It's a BYOB as well! Can't ask for more can you?

Unforgettable! About 6 weeks ago, I sent an email to the Speakeasy Cigar Lounge in Lakeway to see…read moreif someone there might help me pull off a cool surprise for my man's birthday. I got the idea that Jason should have his own signature cocktail. I had the perfect name for it and a list of drinks he likes, but I'm no mixologist, so I needed help to pull this off. Sonya McKinney, the manager replied to my request saying she was all in. And boy was she! From her creative expertise, the "Liberty Risk" cocktail was born. Jason is a retired Navy fighter pilot with an ornery streak a mile wide. Whenever the aircraft carrier came into port, the crew was at liberty to enjoy time in town, unless of course, they'd done a mischief and found themselves on liberty risk, and thus restricted to the ship. Jason wasn't completely unfamiliar with liberty risk. "Liberty Risk" became the name of his boat, his most prized possession, making it also the perfect name for his signature cocktail. Sonya didn't just create an awesome cocktail, she hung a professionally made banner above the bar introducing the drink, wrote and laminated the backstory of the drink, and bought a special Navy veteran glass in which to present the drink, complete with real Navy wings that she attached to a golden cocktail skewer to garnish the drink! She also arranged for the musician who was playing that night to lead the whole bar in singing Happy Birthday to him. Thanks to Sonya, the whole experience was unparalleled and it's a special memory Jason and I will always cherish.

Best Cigar Lounge Experience - A Must-Visit!…read more I've been to cigar lounges all over the country, but C&S Cigar Lounge stands out as one of the best! From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed like family--whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor. The atmosphere is warm, laid-back, and just the right mix of upscale and inviting. Their signature cocktails are on another level. The peach cobbler whiskey sour is a game-changer, and if you haven't tried the watermelon moonshine from Copper Shot Distillery, you're missing out! Pair that with their impressive cigar selection, and you've got the perfect night. Live music nights? Unbeatable. Great bands, good vibes, and a crowd that knows how to enjoy the moment. The owner and staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a top-tier experience. I've found my cigar lounge, and if you're in the area--or even passing through--C&S is a must-visit.

I went to Whisler's and had one of the worst bar experiences I've ever had…read more I had one drink. I was completely sober for all intents and purposes. The bartender claimed I was drunk and cut me off anyway. I was at the bar talking to a girl while waiting to get a drink (the wait was long because the service is very slow, despite the bar not being very busy at all). She was clearly into me, and the bartender kept jumping in trying to talk to her too (instead of doing his job making drinks). He was doing all sorts of things to try and flirt with her and make her laugh: pulling out and showing her buckets of pre mixed cocktails, running and sliding under the bar, etc. She was engaging with both of us , and right in the middle of that, I get cut off out of nowhere. No explanation other than claiming I looked drunk, which I very clearly wasn't. It felt very clear what was going on--he wanted me out of the way. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there. I'm not coming back.
