First time here overall decent. Don't take offense Smokey's I'm from NY. Food/Drink: Pizza by the pie only. Partial Italian style menu with some Mexican, and American thrown into it. Pizza: Needed more crunch not too much, left me wanting more of a bite. Calzones we're cool inside and hot outside. Dinning Area: Pretty large, open, area. Benches, large counter. Plenty of seating! Prices: expected. Buffalo chicken calzone and a 20 oz Diet Pepsi. $13 Parking: Plenty of space, shared strip mall lot. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and gender neutral. Atmosphere: During the Sunday dinner rush, It was empty. Staff/Attendants: Staff overall nice. Seemed to make a few mistakes as ppl came into the shop. Mine was good. Decent experience...idk maybe one more try for the pizza. 6/10

It was a late Monday lunch. Very fresh food. Large salad, chicken parm subs & great service! I recommend if you are in this area.

I looked high and low for a place that serves 'Nduja (spreadable salami) in Knoxville/ surrounding areas, and Amici is where I found it. It isn't something that you can find easily here, so I was excited to take him here, knowing he would be excited. We had a corner table, I sat on the booth side, which i'm 5'5, but the booth is a bit tall, so I couldn't place my feet on the floor. It honestly didn't bother me, there were pillows to prop for the bench seating and I was fine. We started with an appetizer (which I really wanted to try) the Arancini. Just WOW, they were big in size, and absolutely mouthwatering, flavorful and delectable. They were perfectly fried, were crisp, just the right hotness, and the pomodoro could be eaten by the spoonful. Honestly everything was great, but that appetizer still has me thinking about it. I ordered the Fig and Prosciutto pizza on sourdough and my boyfriend ordered a Four Cheese with 'Nduja. My pizza was good, sweet, salty and savory. He enjoyed his 'Nduja, but it was a bit different consistency that he was used to. They did say they made it in house which was nice for authenticity. For his birthday we ordered the Zeppole (its like a fried donut with a lemon glaze) - not my forte personally, because if it's not chocolate it isn't worth the calories- but it's not my birthday, hah. He absolutely loved the Zeppole and had dreams about. Over all we had a pleasant experience. Trust me, don't sleep on those Arancini.

My son had the pizza which really good, it's made with sourdough crust. I had the chicken parm over spaghetti and the chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce is full of flavor. My daughter in law had mushroom pesto fusilli with pistachio and sun dried tomatoes. She said it was delicious. My son had trout risotto and he said there were so many flavors....squash, zucchini, tomatoes. Peas, shallots, tomatoes. He said it was a flavorful explosion that works. One of the founders,Taylor, was so welcoming and personable. We leave TN in a couple of days but my son and his family will come back for sure.

The employee was very friendly and we placed our order after looking at the menu. The food was ok. The garlic knots did not appear to be house made knots. A little bit disappointed given their price. They were dry coated.. I expected them to come in a garlic sauce. They did not. They had marinara to dip into. The pizza was made on a conveyer oven which is the same style as a few of my hometown favorites. The pizza had either a semolina or cornmeal dipped crust.. bottom and sides I assume so it wouldn't stick. The toppings were under the cheese. I am not a fan. I prefer having the toppings cook and crisp a little as they go thru. On top Offers the ability to blot excess grease from the pepperoni off. The sauce was good.. nice blend and not too sweet not too savory, in the middle. The meatball sub was large for its price. The meatballs looked like prepackaged from their food supplier. Lots of sauce and cheese. Overall it's a good change. Restaurant was nice and quiet and it began to get busier. I don't know if it would be my go to pizza but it is a good change from other chain pizza locations.

Breaded fried chicken cutlet, sauce, and melted mozzarella, very simple right. It was so spicy I barely ate half and took the rest with me to throw out once we got home as I didn't want to explain why. it's been several years since I ate at this location and the last time was good.

It's a small independent business and you can tell the pride and effort they put into their pizza. The pizza took a long time to arrive - I was glad we ordered the calamari appetizer, which was sprinkled with red pepper flakes. It was spicy, lightly crispy, and delicious with their sauce on the side. If you don't like spicy food ask them to hold the pepper flakes. I thought they made a mistake and gave us the arrabbiata calamari instead, but the sweet server told us that one comes smothered in a spicy sauce. There are large TVs with any type of sports on so you can watch while you wait. There have a small bar area as well if you want to pop in for a slice and a drink. As soon as we took our first bite of the Grandma pizza, we immediately looked at each other and said it was absolutely worth the wait! Apparently the Grandma and the Sicilian are both rectangular shaped and deeper dish pizza than their other pies. (Note to self: go back to try the other pies!) The crust of the Grandma was crunchy all the way through including on the bottom in the middle - cooked perfectly. The sauce was so fresh, bright, and tomato-y - truly delightful with every bite. One thing I really enjoyed was the balance of sauce to crust to cheese to generous toppings. The cheese was there but it wasn't overwhelming just the perfect amount. The slices are giant. This is a fork and knife meal. One thing I'll mention - it's pricey if you're comparing it to other more fast-food style pizza. The Grandma pizza we ordered came with up to five toppings for $31, but here's the thing. I'll consider this place a restaurant where I'm getting a delicious and satisfying meal- not just "grabbing a pizza." It's like sure you can get a burger at McDonalds or Burger King for $5-$9 but it's not a Stock & Barrel quality restaurant burger that you'll pay $15-$20 for downtown Knoxville. It's the same idea here and if you think of it that way - we both had a fabulous entree for about $15 each, it just happened to be one we shared. And had leftovers, which is very unusual because my husband is a huge eater, so I also have lunch today too. They also have other pizzas - even another version of the Grandma without toppings for $21, making it absolutely worth the price for local, handmade, truly artisan style pizza. I can't wait to go back. I'll be dreaming of this pizza and craving that incredible sauce and crunchy crust. I'm so happy to have finally found crave-worthy pizza in East Tennessee!
