    Margherita pizza

Big fans of Dazzos on Gay Street. So happy this new location is so close. We had a Margherita Pizza, Meatball sub, Garlic Butter pizza with mushrooms ooh la la, manicotti, garlic knots, meatball Parmesan appetizer. All so fresh and delicious. Love love the crisp crust on hand toss and the grandmas sauce is to die for on their pizza. Soak up that delicious sauce on the bottom of the garlic knots and you will be wanting more. Knowing this place is new they probably could use more help But we still got our order quickly. As for ambience the downtown location still has that great ambience and more seating options. Hard to bring the whole gang to new location because there only a few tables. However definitely be back especially for lunch specials!!!

My sausage pizza. Sausage had great flavor just wish there was more of it!

Pleasantly surprised and happy to have a go to take out pizza spot! NY style pizza that is thin and foldable like the real deal! Flavorful sauce and toppings. On the any sausage the toppings were a little on the light side but the pepperoni was great. The cheese bread was on a light airy French style bread with marinara. It was good! I ordered online and it was super easy!

Hand down best pizza I've ever had, wings were perfect, and the service was amazing. If you're looking for a chill spot to hang out with some buddies or even your coworkers this is definitely the move

New York Sausage - garlic butter sauce and no green peppers - we substituted for tomatoes.

Great family-owned Italian restaurant!…read more One thing to know before you go: they only take reservations for parties of six or more. We arrived around 5:20 p.m. and were seated immediately, but by 5:45 there was already a wait. If you're dining with just one or two people, there are several seats available in the bar area. I started with an Old Fashioned. The moment I saw the bright red cherry and small ice cubes, I knew it probably wasn't going to match the quality of the food. It was drinkable, but they could definitely upgrade their Old Fashioned program because the food deserves it. Every table starts with a fresh salad and warm bread. The salad was very good, and the bread was absolutely delicious. I decided to try something new, the Pollo Dill, and I'm glad I did! It featured chicken and rigatoni tossed in a rich, flavorful Parmesan cream sauce. It was outstanding and easily my favorite dish of the night. We also ordered the Pollo Parmesan and the Pollo al Limone, and both were excellent. Our grandkids enjoyed the spaghetti with a huge meatball, which they quickly devoured. The service was attentive throughout the meal, and our water glasses were never empty. The restaurant has the warm, welcoming character you'd expect from a longtime family-owned Italian restaurant. If you're looking for authentic Italian food with generous portions, friendly service, and plenty of charm, this place deserves a spot on your list. Just get there early if your party has fewer than six people. Cheers!

We said my husband is allergic to artichokes and Steve was able to talk the kitchen staff and they accommodated by removing the artichokes and adding extra calamari. The shrimp was delicious! For our main course, we ordered the Filet & Shrimp Toscana ($29.99). This dish is fettuccine w/ spinach and mushrooms, tossed in a roasted garlic cream sauce, sliced filet, and wood-grilled shrimp. The filet was perfectly cooked medium rare. Steve let us know they were out of mushrooms and offered us peas instead. Carrabba's currently has a promotion of $10 take home entree for dine in only. We came in late…read moreafternoon on a Thursday with our family of five and waited quite awhile to be greeted at the counter. The space is cozy with about 4, 4-tops, a few outdoor tables, and a bar along the wall with stools in case you come in for a slice and soda deal at lunch time. We ordered breadsticks, a salad, a thin crust with pepperoni, and a stuffed pizza with sausage. They told us that we couldn't order the thin crust with half no cheese (for our lactose intolerant kiddo who still loves sauce, crust and toppings), as a heads up to anyone with similar dietary restrictions. This is due to the cook time being inconsistent for the cheese versus no cheese sides of the pie. We were asked if we were dining in or ordering to go. We opted to eat there since we live a decent distance away. Our breadsticks and house salad came out first, packed for transport and no plates or silverware were provided. They seemed confused and a bit annoyed when we asked for some. The breadsticks tasted like butter and parm doused funnel cake fries and the salad was fine...served its purpose but nothing special. Our thin crust came out next and was fresh and fabulous. My husband felt like it was a bit more overcooked than when we previously got it. Tons of cheese, slightly sweet sauce and crispy pepperoni. It is cut into squares. Lastly, our stuffed pizza came out. Again, no pie server given and we needed one desperately for the thick and gooey pizza. We waited awhile to get our requested pie utensil and then struggled to cut the pieces with our thin plasticware. The pizza was extremely fresh and tasty, however! If you are wondering what the difference is between the deep dish and stuffed, the stuffed is almost like a pizza sandwich. One pizza crust on bottom, toppings, and then another thin crust on top of those before spreading a thin layer of sauce. The crust is thicker than on a deep dish, too. I am sure that we will get pizza here again at some point, but never ever will we dine in. The trash was overflowing, every table wobbly and in need of cleaning, and unfortunately very uninviting service. They seemed quite miserable.

Now, the bread was fresh and warm which was a good thing. My Caesar salad was filled with brown and wilting lettuce, so the server returned it, but I'm shocked they would let that go out even at lunch. The hot honey chicken sandwich tasted fine, the chicken was extremely thin but at least they had two small chicken patties on there. The bacon had a nice sweetness with the honey and crisp to it. Overall the flavor was fine but didn't stand out compared to similar offerings from average chain restaurants. The cheeseburger was the definition of average. Barely seasoned patty and that's about all I remember. I could not taste the cider in the highly touted "cider slaw", and was hardly a cut above KFC slaw. Firebirds burned me out charging steakhouse prices for mid-tier chain quality. I have to hope it was just a bad day for them but will be hard pressed to return.
