The atmosphere is the typical BBQ setup. The food is the star of the show. The service was excellent as well. I had the half rack of ribs with smoked corn and slaw. Ribs were great, corn was fantastic and the slaw was ok. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich with Mac and cheese and slaw. Excellent pulled pork, good Mac and cheese and the slaw. We'll definitely frequent Holy Smokes more often!

The quality of the steak was Select at best. 1/3 of it was fat and gristle. Something easily seen when raw. For my side I ordered mushrooms and a side Caesar salad. Shrooms were fine but the lettuce should have been in the trash bin. Pink romaine with mushy areas is just not cool. My wife ordered the steak Caesar and it was a mess as well. This ended up being an expensive and one of the worst lunches I've ever had. Look at my history...I don't mind spending if the quality is there. Another poor memory was the amount of flies. Fans at doors would help for sure. They applied some sound treatment to the ceiling and that was appreciated for sound control.
