This was a nice experience with good and friendly service. I was looking for a BBQ place after my original selection was closed for remodeling. I came across Smokin Sisters after looking on Yelp and it was a good choice. Using Ribs as my litmus test I talked to the nice lady at the counter and settled on the half rack dinner and tried the beans and potato salad. I would say if you are driving through Wagoner, OK and are hungry to give them a shot

We tried the Main Street location. My understanding is there are 2 spots! But it's a cute little rustic restaurant inside. The bbq is very affordable. I enjoyed my unsweet tea and the fried pickles the most! But my bbq frito pie was unique and tasty as well! The waitresses were very nice too. Oh! And they get props for serving Pepsi products! I'm a Pepsi fan girl.

Full deli! Meats to go!

Always worth the 10 hour drive once a year from Chicago! Love the food, freshness and taste. Always friendly staff! Add a extra pulled pork sandwich for the drive to Dallas! Yummy!

I had the pulled pork and chopped beef combo and it was off the charts! Highly recommend this friendly family restaurant.

Ok, I'll preface this with I KNOW my 'que…read more.. I'm a former partner in 3 Guys Smokin', Tulsa original "poster children" for barbecue competitions here. We started in 1987 and founded the Art of BBQ, the former fundraiser for Tulsa's Arts and Humanities Council, as well as the Bixby Blues 'n BBQ competition. Over the years we won MULTITUDES of awards, with our biggest claim that our baked beans took second in the world at the KC Royal. We manufactured and marketed three award-winning sauces and a dry rub. Case made?? Good, keep going please! I accidentally found Luke's a few years back and now I'll drive to Coweta from Tulsa for lunch as it's THAT GOOD!! It's honestly some of the best BBQ I've ever eaten. I went last week for lunch and got my usual, sliced brisket and pulled pork. Both were incredible, but the pork was AMAZING, something that usually doesn't impress me. I can get a butt nice and juicy, but NOTHING like Luke's!!! Not sure if they brine, inject, or what they do?? The meat is soaked with delicious juices and you can tell that it's inside, not just added if that makes sense. The brisket came off the point, which is not what I typically prefer, but it too was incredible. Go early, burnt ends seem to sell out first. Great portions, I always bring home leftovers. I'll TRY not to dive in to my plate and get some pics next time; can't promise tho...

Finally made it here. I'm from TX, so I judge every BBQ place by their brisket. Lukes is probably…read morethe best I've had in OK (places in Wellston and Pawhuska are pretty close, too). It had a good bark, smoke ring, was tender and had great flavor. The portion size was healthy, too. The okra was average, but the portion size was plentiful. The beans were very good, but sweeter than I prefer. My wife had the beef ribs which were the best outside Kansas City I've tasted. She did not care for the mac and cheese but liked the smoke flavor the the white cheese they used. Order at the counter and they bring the food to you. It is a tiny mom and pop place so be there by 10:30 to avoid a line that steadily grows until opening. Lukes reminds me of some of the best small, local BBQ joints you find all over Texas. I hope to get back here when I'm in the Tulsa area.

The name of this BBQ joint has me confused. It is spelled "Above P@R." Check the signs. The…read morerestaurant's theme is a play on golf. No barn tin, farm implements, road signs, not even a picture of a cow inside the restaurant. A golf themed, side of the road, rural country BBQ restaurant sure seems odd to me. And instead of PAR, it is P@R? And then, Above P@R? Wouldn't you want to be below par. Isn't that how golf works? The goal is to come in under par? That means you are good, right? I'm sure that there were hours of thought that went into the name, and it all makes sense to someone. Just never mind, lets focus on the food. It is a clean, simple little cinder block building on the south side of highway 64, west of Tahlequah. Nothing fancy. The menu covers the BBQ essentials: ribs, brisket, sausage, pulled pork and an Oklahoma favorite bologna. The usual sides, mandatory fried okra, etc. etc. and a surprise, normally only appearing during your family holiday get togethers, Deviled Eggs! Yep, Deviled Eggs! My wife opted for the Brisket Sandwich with fried okra and potato salad. Brisket here is excellent. Tender, lean with a thick smokey bark. I had the jalapeno sausage, baked beans and the potato salad. Great tasting, smokey sausage. The potato salad here is exceptional. Not the typical mustard potato salad, like you pick up at Walmart in the deli section. I'd guess that Above P@R's potato salad is derived from a secret family recipe. It is tasty. The bake beans tasted like they spent some time in the smoker with the brisket. A nice touch of smoke. The helpings of the sides are generous. Check the pictures. We couldn't finish them all. A selection of BBQ sauce is on the table. The hot is perfect!!! Great friendly service from a feisty young lady working today. My receipt said it was Christina. Most BBQ joints are "par" for the course. "Above P@R BBQ" is very good! So, in golf terms, being better, it is below par. That made sense, right? EAT HERE! The food is fantastic. Be sure to try the golf ball challenge. You might win your meal!

It's extremely affordable and delicious. The sandwich buns are so good, and the Cajun slaw on any sandwich is the best. I had a Monday special today for lunch. 2 fully loaded chili cheese dogs, bag of chips, and a medium drink for $7.91. Perfect. Staff are quick and efficient. I've never eaten inside because it's a little tiny shop. But it's a great option for cheaper bbq or chili dogs than anywhere else in town!

Each must be perfectly separated. Or, if you must eat your food items from your plate in a certain order. One item at a time and only you can determine the proper order. The BBQ Sunday (Parfait) is NOT FOR YOU. It will short out, explode that OCD brain. The BBQ Sunday is utterly food chaos. I had to have it. In a 20oz drink cup, from bottom to top; BBQ beans, pulled pork, Cajun Slaw, potato salad, topped off with BBQ sauce and a pickle spear. In reverse order. Potato salad, very different, a startling texture. The potatoes are diced into very small cubes. Taste decent. The Cajun Slaw, spicey, unusual, excellent. The pulled pork very good. And finally, the beans, mixed with small chunks of smoked bologna. Good, but by the time I worked my way down to the beans I was stuffed. A rich filling cup of food. My wife had the Smoked Bologna sandwich. She's hooked. It comes with the Cajun Slaw. She liked the slaw as much as I did. The little BBQ shack is tiny. A small independently owned Pig Stand. If you know what that is. Check the video. Set up primarily for to go orders or eat on the picnic table out front. Inside, a bar circles the dining area with a few bar stools. Ambiance.....looks and smells like a BBQ joint inside. The food has a hint of Cajun influence. Friendly service. "The Slaw is the Law!" Try it.
