On the morning of my wedding Kelly and her team arrived promptly at 8am (even making it before some of the bridal party!) Despite having 8 of us to get ready, the hair stylists and Kelly were great, taking the time to make each one of us feel amazing. My bridesmaids had the airbrush make up with lashes and hair up and they all looked absolutely stunning! I also had the full works and was more than delighted with my hair and loved my airbrush make up! It was perfect on the day and I felt exactly how a bride should feel! Kelly and her team at Smooth Brides are life savers!!! I got married in Las Vegas at The Wynn. I had originally booked my hair and make-up with Claude Baruk HIMSELF at the Claude Baruk salon (for the sheer fact that it was less complicated due to the fact that they were located in the same hotel), when I went to do the trial it went HORRIBLY (pins flying out of my head, ripping out my hair - I mean BAD!)!! I remembered in my wedding planning a lot of websites talking about Smooth Brides and all the great reviews they had. I called up Kelly almost in tears over my original trial - this was on the Thursday and my wedding was on Saturday! She had two other weddings on Saturday and still fit me and my Maid of Honor in!! I loved the way my hair and makeup turned out! It was neat to have her come to my hotel room to provide a service like this. I had my wedding in Las Vegas on Halloween and was nervous about the entire process because I was coming from out of town but everything turned out great! I wasn't sure what I wanted and Kelly helped come up with a beautiful look for my special day. Early communication was helpful with scheduling and working out pricing there was a little confusion but everything was worked out between email and text! Pricing is fair and competitive with the expensive hotel salons and you can't beat not having to run around town or the big hotels to get hair and make up done! Couldnt be happier with the entire process, her website was very informative and she was quick with her communication from the get-go. Did a 50's theme and sent her some pics to get an idea of what my vision was for myself and my maid of honor. she arrived to our hotel early and had great ideas to work with what I had, she was able to work with my birdcage as I didnt take into account its placement when I chose my hairstyle but she worked it into a fascinator type decoration and it looked amazing! My first impression of Kelly was from her website exemplifying nothing but class. My now wonderful husband with skeptism kept telling me you can't judge the book by its cover. After he met Kelly he did a 180 deg. turn on his skeptism. And is now a big fan of Kelly and her professionalism. She showed up early, eliviating his fear of a no show like our photographer. And when Kelly found out about our situation with our no show photographer, she immediately got out her phone and dialed in one of the photophers in town with only 2 hours notice. Kelly is SO talented! She did my hair and makeup in less than 2 hours and it came out perfect. I had some pictures of the hair and makeup I wanted for my wedding, and it came out exactly what I wanted. I normally don't wear makeup, so I didn't want anything too heavy. The makeup came out great and looked amazing in photos. I also have very long and thick hair, so it is always difficult to style. Kelly finished my hair around noon, and it lasted the entire day (even in the wind) and by the time I went to bed it was still perfect. I HIGHLY recommend her. Kelly did my hair and makeup for my graduation. She did and awesome job! I asked for my hair to be pulled back to the side with curls and she did it exactly as I asked. I also wanted really minimal makeup because I rarely wear anything more than mascara and she was able to do a really clean, natural look for me which looked perfect! She was fast and was even able to take breaks throughout so I could look in the mirror and make changes and give her feedback so it was exactly what I wanted. Very professional and easy to work with. Booked over the internet based on Yelp reviews. I booked my self and two others in for hair and makeup for my Vegas wedding. I was not disappointed. The booking was easy and i paid the deposit easily. Kelly and Melissa turned up promptly at the appointed time and had our hair and make up done in under 2 hours. I was so happy with the results. I couldn't have asked for better hair or makeup. I've been to many friends weddings and i haven't seen makeup as good as theirs. Best thing is they travel to you, which was great.
