Trash everywhere all the…read moretime,septic constantly full and over flowing, people speeding around kids, playing loud music, fighting,cops are there few times a week for disturbances.my second day there was asked if i wanted to smoke meth..bathrooms constantly vandalized by same people that live there. Owners allowed people next to me to continue to mess with my electric plug on camper which ended up costing alot.. nothing done or said about it, my vehicle has had mud rubbed down side with nothing done about it, trash blowing around nothing done about it. Dogs are constantly loose and most are aggressive also nothing done about that either.. the owner mike is a nice guy but if his wife decides she does not like you for whatever reason your going to be treated poorly. If your not into drugs and chaos i would NEVER recommend this place until you see a under new owner sign. This is not a campground or even anything close to it. It is worse than the worse trailer park in your area. The location is fantastic unfortunately is being wasted

The people working there were very nice and upfront about the do's and don'ts and what to expect. They warned us the river was low and there were some large branches that had fallen down onto the river. We found it was a relaxing, scenic, and though at times required paddling to avoid branches, it was a wonderful time just lazily floating down the river. At the end of the trip they showed where to use the showers and hoses in case we wanted to clean up. I'd give this place 5 stars but they have to work on removing the trees that block the entire width of the river bc it's a pain trying to climb over them. I'll be coming back with more visitors!

Five Pines is a great place all year round.  In the summer they have camps (which I went to as a…read moreyoung lad) with an abundance of activities including swimming, a rock climbing wall, and a ropes course.  The middle school I went to even took us out here back in the day as a field trip.  My church would take the middle and high schoolers out here in the fall for hay rides which is always a fun treat. As for the winter, they offer tubing and other winter activities on a large hill on property.  They also sell warm beverages during this time to warm up between activities.  Five Pines is simply a great outdoor place with numberous fun things to do.  Let the adventuring begin! We could not get through. We decided we would just go and not book a room. We only had a few kids. When we got there we were told the restaurant was closed. You can't bring outside food in. They did make a compromise But told us we couldn't have cake but pizza was ok. Makes no sense. Some of us paid for all day passes / Some of us paid for three hour passes. They kicked us all out after 3 hours. We showed them the receipts showing all day passes. The staff said we could stay. but at this point we were done. The whole time staff was rude and condescending.

We rented a pontoon boat for 4 hrs with a couple families on a summer afternoon. It was a great…read moreexperience and everything was very well managed From checkout to our return, it was easy, convenient and fun. Tony, KC and the office staff explained everything for the boat, the lake and what to expect. Out boat was relatively new and in great condition. The lake is pretty clean and has several places to anchor to play in the water or relax with friends. We decided to take our kids tubing, and it was really fun. The lake is large enough to feel safe while motoring, but small enough to get around quickly. Id definitely recommend getting a coverer boat with parial shade, it was hot in the sun when you arent motoring. Overall this was a fantastic experience and we would do it again anytime.

Our boat was newer, spotless, and comfortable. JC took good care of us on both ends of our "voyage." I'll definitely be a repeat customer.
