    Original acai bowl
    Nancy M.

Stopped in because I was in the area and I am glad I did! I had a friend in tow who is a vegan and wanted a smoothie so here we went! I ordered the Mango Bowl which mango acai was used for the base with some banana slices and goji berries! Icy, fruity and delicious are 3 words that immediately come to mind! The original acai bowl was what my buddy had and it was acai, strawberries granola bananas and honey. It looked delicious. Needless to say as we were eating a line of customers formed on exterior of the place. It was that packed and in demand. Something must be right here! NOW when say packed it was not packed inside as they only have 3 tables of two inside and 2 high top tables outside. The packed I was referring to was the line of patrons waiting to get in to order. Before I knew it my mango acai bowl was empty and I left satisfied and not puffy or stuffed. I would recommend Smoothie Jungle to anyone who wants a fresh good acai bowl ($7.50 a bowl). I am a fan and you should be to! Support local businesses and eat well!

I've been passing by this place for YEARS! Finally had the chance to check it out on a salon trip near pompano. I was in the mood for a smoothie or juice and maybe a sandwich too. Smoothie Jungle delivered, I had the kiwi blast smoothie along with the chicken salads wrap - oh so good! Although it helped that I was past the point of starving, everything was so fresh and well prepared. Both items together totaled just $15.50 - I thought that was pretty good considering the food-price-inflation, times we are living in. Well worth it if you ask me. Inside was super clean and seemed to be a family of 3 women running the place. So glad I finally had the chance to try this juice, salad and sandwich spot - think tropical smoothie but real food- certainly won't be my last.

Amazing placeee!!! I've been an addict since the first time visiting. I usually go for lunch and there's always a line but two things: 1. Line goes by pretty fast 2. You can order ahead and food usually takes about 10 min to be ready I had today the chicken italiano sub which comes with procciutto, chicken, tomato, lettuce, fresh mozzarella, and pesto mayo. You can order any plate in either a bowl, sub(wheat or white), wrap, or pita. I would suggest accompanying this with an açaí smoothie as it is both healthy and gives perfect pairing to the chicken italiano. They are only open Monday through Friday but they open early for breakfast and have great healthy options Parking is tight sometimes in front but you can find parking in the plaza parking on the east side of the restaurant. All staff is extremely courteous and food is always fresh! A must try 100%

Great AUTHENTIC açaí bowl and the wrap was tasty with fast and friendly service. I'll definitely be back for a healthy treat next time I'm in the area.

Customer Service was ok. I ordered the Açaí Bomb Smoothie and the Chicken Caesar Wrap. I personally like Caesar salad so I loved the wrap. The smoothie was mediocre. It was probably more ice then fruits blended.

First time going to this place and I'm impressed !!!! It was super clean, staff was nice and friendly. I got a Cobb salad with extra chicken and I also got a chicken Cesar wrap with a passion fruit smoothie. Everything was super good. Chicken was well seasoned. Smoothie tastes fresh. I'm very satisfied with my order. Will be back.

$9.10 for this small bowl is pretty pricy.. the bowl is not fresh it's frozen in the center.. a bit disappointed. Don't really recommend at least not for açaí bowls.

I love smoothie joints, so when I found this place conveniently located next to my job I figured I'd stop in and give them a try. It's located in a kind of weird plaza and the parking set up is strange but I figured I'd still go ahead and try them out. Upon entering the restaurant the decor is nice and it's a great layout and it seemed to be very busy since it was around the lunch rush. I ordered a simple açaí bowl with coconut flakes. I placed my order at 12:32 PM. I began to notice that individuals who had come in after me were getting their food before me so I got the attention of one of the employees. When I provided him with my ticket he looked on the counter and saw that there was a ticket there for my order but no one had started on it, by this time it was already 12:43 PM. Due to needing to be back at work by 1 PM I was forced to have to ask for a refund of my purchase and leave the restaurant. I am very disappointed about the service I received because I was certainly looking forward to (1) having lunch and (2) having a new smoothie spot to visit regularly. I'm not sure if I'm willing to give them a second chance after this experience.

Being addicted to Smoothie Jungle is easy when you realize how much love and care goes into the food and smoothies created. I had the great pleasure of meeting the owner, Louiza, a Brazilian native that aims to recreate the fresh flavors of her hometown. The flavors she incorporates into her menu are truly special. Every smoothie is sure to leave you impressed. She really cares about her food! All ingredients are hand chosen and taste tested before she adds a new item to the menu. ** Heads up: If you ever see a menu item go missing it's because she's temporarily removed it because she wasn't happy with the quality of ingredients...seriously! Louiza cares that much. Smoothie Jungle's salad and sandwich menu is also very impressive. I would say about 40 different sandwich & salad options. One my favorites is the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich. It's always a "YESS HONEY" for me. The chicken is juicy, mixed greens are always perfectly dressed. I highly recommend. If you're going to order for lunch, especially right around noon, definitely consider calling ahead. Smoothie Jungle always has a large lunch crowd but the manage to stay super efficient. Literally every time I walk in, my order is hot and ready for me to eat.

They always have great food and exceptional service, except now I'm seeing obvious changes in the staff and you can tell they are stressed from rapid growth. Come on guys, get back to 5 star!

The "almost" part was simply the bread was not toasted quite enough to add texture to each soft, creamy bite. My vodka chicken was FANTASTICALLY FIRE! That Vodka sauce, crispy Cutler AND bread were so good but that pasto drizzle sauce took it beyond and chicken parm ever has! The only problem I have (not all) that the breadcrumbs on almost all cutlets are loaded with salt. By the time you add the salt from the sauce, bread, etc., all saucy cutlet sandwiches bite you back on that 1st bite. This one did that also. I feel someone should invent low sodium breadcrumbs JUST FOR chicken cutlet sandwiches. Nevertheless, that pesto sauce seduced my jaws to muscle through and enjoy ever salty bite! Service was a 3 star bc they clearly want you to order from your table. There is a QR bribing code that if you order from your table, you get a free drink and cookie with your meal. Perfect... for antisocials and non-Gen Zers! I was not told this by the ho-hum cashier where I ordered from. I just believe that all cashiers should have a 15 second smile minimum. Although there was a person, cleaning and clearing the tables periodically, our booth was not wiped down. A great surprise was the 2 free cookies I assume they gave for mentioning it was our 1st time there. Parking, in and outdoor seating, and the self serve fountain drinks made it easy to sit and start. Overall, we would definitely be back...especially to try there different daily specials! Enjoy, and God bless!!

The reviews were positive and the photos online looked great, plus I love a good sandwich at lunch time. We ordered the Chicken Parm Pesto Sandwich and the Chicken Cesar Salad Wrap. The Chicken Parm Pesto Sandwich was delish! The bread was soft and fresh. There was ample chicken and it was already cut up to make it easier to eat. The mix of red sauce and pesto was a perfect combo! It was a flavor bomb! There were also huge chunks of fresh mozzarella mixed in. It could have had just a bit more arugula, but this was not enough of a note to really impact the experience. The Chicken Sesar Salad Wrap was huge! All of the flavors were great, but it was very heavy on the kale. The menu said it was supposed to be a mix of romaine and kale, but it felt like all kale. I'm guessing the current lettuce issue was the reason behind that. This is a small sandwich shop but the service was awesome and the interior is really cute. The walls are covered with sweet pictures of customers enjoying their food. I will definitely come back and try more options. They have a display of cookies that looked amazing! We appreciated that both sandwiches were pressed, which made it easier to enjoy all of the flavors in every bite. The service was quick, with our food coming out in less than 10 minutes, and everyone was friendly. The inside was a little small, but that wasn't surprising for a lunch spot. Dino's Subs is back -- with new ownership, a fresh direction, and a local legacy behind its name…read more Originally opened in December 2023 by Scott "Dino" Cohen -- grandson of legendary deli man Wolfie Cohen of Wolfie's and Rascal House fame -- the sub shop quickly earned buzz before closing in the summer of 2024 following Scott's leukemia diagnosis. The storefront quietly reopened in December 2024 under new ownership by Mark Cerniglia, who, along with his wife Cathy, also owns the beloved Over Easy Café in Wilton Manors. The couple recently acquired Fat Freddy's Subs in Fort Lauderdale as well -- a 50-year-old institution now being fully renovated, with cheesesteaks and smash burgers on the way. If you were a fan of the original Dino's housemade pastrami or corned beef, note that those items are no longer on the menu. The new version of Dino's focuses on traditional sub shop fare -- but still brings serious craft to the table. They make their own chicken cutlets and meatballs, and even smoke their own bacon in-house. I stopped in for the roast beef sub, and it delivered. Mark doesn't use Boar's Head -- instead, he sources higher-quality meats, including large beef primals from his restaurant supplier. The roast beef is commercially roasted (not done in-house), but it's tender, flavorful, and generously stacked. The roll is spot on, and the topping bar includes at least four types of hot pickled peppers. At $16.95, it's a hefty, satisfying sandwich -- and worth every bite.

It's a small place that's mainly doing take out. But we decided to eat in at one of their (six) counter stools. The restaurant is located on the west side of the street in a small strip of stores that incudes J&J. There's parking in the spaces out front. We got to chat with members of the staff and fellow diners as well. It was fun talking about old south Florida and places we've eaten at, and pizza in New Haven, etc.,etc. They have a set menu -- copies are on the counter and on the wall -- but they also have blackboard specials. Don't hesitate to ask what's new or what they're creating (we found out later about a muffaletta that was in the works). You can see all the add-ons/fixing's in the case in front of you, so you get to customize your order to your liking. I tried their half meatball parm sub. You have your choice of rolls -- the softer one and the crustier Italian one with sesame seeds. I like texture, so I chose the seeded one and I'm so glad I did. The meatballs, btw, are made in house and are a mix of different quality meats. I got mine topped with provolone which gets melted nicely on top of the hot meatballs. In addition, they give you some extra tomato sauce for dipping, on the side. It was quite good. It was a cooler day, so I wanted something hot, but next time I'll try one of their cold subs, I think. My husband got their capicola and ham sub. He also chose their seeded bread. And added some black olives and other things to his sandwich. They have more than just subs and deli sandwiches -- there's usually a pasta special of the day, and a daily soup, as well. Also, there are more than half a dozen salad platters with your choice of dressing. Beverages are from the cooler -- sodas and the like. We didn't try them, but there were also a few different cookie selections, and packaged chips, of course. And I imagine they'll be adding a few more items onto the menu in the future. They are just getting discovered. They do delivery through the services, and you can do take out -- you can even call in to order in advance. But if you get a chance, stop by to see in person what they're offering that day. And what all the topping choices are so you'll know for future. We'll be back soon, if we can.
