I stopped in here for breakfast this morning because I needed to stay in the area and didn't have time for a Starbucks run. Initial thought was that the menu offered a nice variety of options and that the price point was spot on. Well... the prices have apparently increased substantially and the menu hasn't been updated to reflect that. I find that somewhat deceitful and was shocked to find out that an egg sandwich was almost $9.00 when it was posted as about $6.00! Furthermore, I find it funny that indoor seating is closed due to covid safety and yet the staff are all unmasked. Speaking of the staff, they are definitely not the friendliest and I can't say that they provide top notch service. Because an egg sandwich is hard to mess up, I'll have to give credit and say that the food was fine. Not worth $9.00 though. I probably won't come back for a smoothie anytime soon so let's just hope the smoothies warrant this otherwise underwhelming store front. read more

Stopped in because I was in the area and I am glad I did! I had a friend in tow who is a vegan and wanted a smoothie so here we went! I ordered the Mango Bowl which mango acai was used for the base with some banana slices and goji berries! Icy, fruity and delicious are 3 words that immediately come to mind! The original acai bowl was what my buddy had and it was acai, strawberries granola bananas and honey. It looked delicious. Needless to say as we were eating a line of customers formed on exterior of the place. It was that packed and in demand. Something must be right here! NOW when say packed it was not packed inside as they only have 3 tables of two inside and 2 high top tables outside. The packed I was referring to was the line of patrons waiting to get in to order. Before I knew it my mango acai bowl was empty and I left satisfied and not puffy or stuffed. I would recommend Smoothie Jungle to anyone who wants a fresh good acai bowl ($7.50 a bowl). I've been passing by this place for YEARS! Finally had the chance to check it out on a salon trip near pompano. I was in the mood for a smoothie or juice and maybe a sandwich too. Smoothie Jungle delivered, I had the kiwi blast smoothie along with the chicken salads wrap - oh so good! Although it helped that I was past the point of starving, everything was so fresh and well prepared. Both items together totaled just $15.50 - I thought that was pretty good considering the food-price-inflation, times we are living in. Well worth it if you ask me. Inside was super clean and seemed to be a family of 3 women running the place. You can order ahead and food usually takes about 10 min to be ready I had today the chicken italiano sub which comes with procciutto, chicken, tomato, lettuce, fresh mozzarella, and pesto mayo. You can order any plate in either a bowl, sub(wheat or white), wrap, or pita. I would suggest accompanying this with an açaí smoothie as it is both healthy and gives perfect pairing to the chicken italiano. They are only open Monday through Friday but they open early for breakfast and have great healthy options Parking is tight sometimes in front but you can find parking in the plaza parking on the east side of the restaurant. We usually choose other places in the area for sandwiches so we don't end up here often except when we need to "switch it up". The portions are good if you don't usually eat large meals but definitely on the light side for someone who may skip breakfast and eat a big lunch. I love smoothie joints, so when I found this place conveniently located next to my job I figured I'd stop in and give them a try. It's located in a kind of weird plaza and the parking set up is strange but I figured I'd still go ahead and try them out. Upon entering the restaurant the decor is nice and it's a great layout and it seemed to be very busy since it was around the lunch rush. I ordered a simple açaí bowl with coconut flakes. I placed my order at 12:32 PM. I began to notice that individuals who had come in after me were getting their food before me so I got the attention of one of the employees. When I provided him with my ticket he looked on the counter and saw that there was a ticket there for my order but no one had started on it, by this time it was already 12:43 PM. Due to needing to be back at work by 1 PM I was forced to have to ask for a refund of my purchase and leave the restaurant. I am very disappointed about the service I received because I was certainly looking forward to (1) having lunch and (2) having a new smoothie spot to visit regularly. I've ordered twice from Smoothie Jungle. Both times through postmates, one for delivery and one for pickup. Today, I decided to visit the location to pick up my order. The store had a few patrons in it, and four to five employees behind the counter. A Caucasian male, an African American woman, and two Hispanic women. In their store there's a sign that clearly articulates online and pick up orders should stand to the side. I went and stood next to that sign, next to two other customers. NO ONE behind the counter acknowledged me. One of the Hispanic workers has a dimple and she was in arms distance of me near the counter and didn't even mutter a "hello, we'll be with you in a moment." I'm looking around the store wondering what I did wrong, so after a couple minutes or so I went to the register and said hello to the Caucasian male working behind the counter making a smoothie. He either didn't hear me or ignored me because I received no response. Cool. Still waiting. Finally, (I'm a black woman) the only black woman working behind the counter finally looks in my direction and with a smirk and the most sarcasm she can muster she asks me "are you finally ready to order?" Taken aback, I say to her that not only have I placed this order online, no one has spoken to me since I walked in here! You should have seen how fast that apology came flying out of her mouth, and how quickly my food, (which was already done and ready, btw - just waiting on someone to ask me why I here and hand it to me!) was given to me. Next time someone walks in the door. So I have passed by this place so many times it's in the Winn-Dixie shopping center and just like all Winn-Dixie shopping centers it's not the nicest place so I never went, BUT TODAY I decided to give it a chance, because I noticed a new sign being installed, I guess they are Not going out of business ... I REALLY REALLY LIKED IT IT'S UNIQUE NOT A LOT OF PLACES SERVE GUAVA AND I LOVE GUAVA! you can add supplements to your smoothie if you like they have protein powders that have vegan protein powders they have chai seeds, you know all the accoutrements one would expect to see at one of those over priced fruit juiceries, without the inflated price$$ I will definitely frequent this spot for a quick healthy and fresh meal . I have been here several times, and I am still cycling through all their selections! The staff is friendly, the place clean. It's amazing how a small business eatery such as this one can thrive if consistent product is served! From sandwiches to salads to smoothies, the combination of options are limitless. You can also choose from different breads: wheat, white, pita, what pits, and wrap. Also, instead of having an unhealthy soda to wash down your cobb salad, try one of their many smoothies. What a great alternative to the usual lunch beverages! Just recently, they also started to serve breakfast. I yet to give it a shot, but one of these days I will. All the veggies were very fresh and the chicken was real chicken breast - not the creepy, spongy chicken like you see in most fast food restaurants. This was my first and last visit. The green juice was very basic...they did not ask me if I wanted ice in it. No ginger etc. I waited 20 minutes for a veggie burger. I did not think it was possible to kill a veggie burger but when I returned to work I found a cold, barely cooked, mushy patty in my sandwich. As a marketing professional, I would highly recommend that Smoothie Jungle change its name. I have passed by this place for the last year and would have never known that they serve wraps, salads, sandwiches etc. if a coworker didn't tell me to check it out. I was a little hesitant because I can't say the area and the strip of stores surrounding this place is my definition of desirable, but I figured I'd give them a shot. The inside of Smoothie Jungle is substantially more pleasing than the outside and is clean and bright. It's a pretty small space but laid out efficiently to accommodate a handful of tables. Beyond the smoothies, they have a good menu with a nice variety and some unusual items like squash & apple soup. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich which is pieces of chicken breast, pesto, provolone (I subbed with mozzarella), tomato and lettuce, served on your choice of bread. My mom, who met me at work for lunch ordered the chicken salad sandwich. My mom and I both just wanted water to drink.. like as in the glass of free water, but I guess they don't do that here because we were given (and charged for) bottles. Little things like that bug me, but I guess I know for next time. My sandwich was very tasty and the tomato and lettuce were crisp and fresh and the mozzarella was the good stuff, I would have however preferred a chicken breast as opposed to the pieces of chicken that were in the sandwich. My mom liked her chicken salad and said it was very good. Lunch for the 2 of us came to just under $16 for the two sandwiches (no sides) and two waters. Like many other reviewers have mentioned this place is so much more than smoothies. They have a pretty wide variety of salads and sandwiches, perfect for a quick lunch. I have had a few of their sandwiches...usually the california club, I love the avocado spread. I have also had the prosciutto and mozzarella. You can chose to have the sandwiches on a white or wheat sub roll, a pita, or a wrap, so really there are infinite possibilities. Lately I have moved more toward the salad side of the menu. The Brazillian chicken salad is excellent. Its chicken salad with olives, potato sticks, carrots, and raisins all mixed in on a bed of greens. I usually HATE raisins, but in this it works. I have also had the honey chicken salad and their honey mustard dressing was really good. Thinking back I know I have had a smoothie or two here, but I can't remember which ones in particular, so it seems I am definitely going for the food. The prices are about what you would pay at a drive through (around 6-7$) but it is much healthier (at least that's what I tell myself). Service can be hit or miss. It is really just an order at the counter type place, but sometimes the food prep takes longer than I want to be waiting around to get back to work, but on my most recent trip they were pretty quick, so maybe they have tried to be more efficient. read more

However, clearly if an 8 mth pregnant woman complains that a smoothie is too sweet and ask for it to be exchanged (NOT refunded) better customer service would be understanding. The answer shouldnt be, well what you ordered is sweet. Sucky attitudes at this place all the time! The food is not that great to deal with this. Taking my business elsewhere!
