This location is much better than my usual location. The employee voluntarily made a suggestion when I ordered a low calorie meal replacement. She took my order, took my money, made my smoothie, and handed it to me. The place had a 99.0 sanitation grade. My smoothie was very good. You could tell it was made right. I got in and out quickly. My daughter and I have been coming to the Davis Lake store for more than a month now. I am giving this review two stars because I am willing to give the employees another chance to provide better service. We got to the store around 7:09am, and we were the first ones in. The employees are always seeming to be getting their stations setup as we come in. The female employee took our order but began making someone else's smoothie. Then she began making and blending our order. She finished my daughter's smoothie first but had to put it back on the blender to blend a little more. Then she poured it and began making my cocoa haze bowl. Although I love the acai mixture of the bowl, the main reason I always order that bowl is for the cocoa nibs that comes on it. Today, they were out of those nibs. I was a little taken back because I felt like it was taking longer than usual and we were starting to get press for time. When she started making my bowl she had to go in the back I guess to see if she had more cocoa nibs. After I guess she realized that she didn't have anymore she ask if I wanted to substitute for something else. Had she known beforehand that there wasn't any cocoa nibs, it would have save me time with waiting on something that wasn't going to be what I really wanted and had paid for. So, I asked for a refund and was quickly given one. The service today could have been just because they should have been better prepared and more organized. I am still willing to give them one more try but I wanted to be documented that the am employees needs to be better prepared for customers when their doors first open. read more

I've been waiting for this smoothie king to open for months and was happy to see that it was open on Black Friday because I hadn't had the chance to stop by. I love this location. Parking is a breeze and it's right off of Harris. This location also has friendly staff, the boyfriend used to order the Light and Fluffy but the recipe was removed so the worker helped us find the closest thing. I always order the Angel Food- it's the best ever if you don't like too much fruit or tartness. This location is also super clean. I love this place. I wish there was one near me (in Seattle, WA). They would do really well there. I happened upon this place while visiting Charlotte, NC for work. The person who was running the store (alone!) has been personable, knowledgeable, and helpful both of the times I have visited.
