The lemon twist strawberry was a little too tart for me but still very refreshing. The island impact was perfectly sweet and delicious. When Smoothie King opened in Rye years ago it was nice to find a place that had a clear mission. No junk food no snacks just smoothies and related items. They had a fun staff. No one there tried to push any additions but they did make recommendations. When you asked about certain add ons and what the were going to do you got a straight answer. When you have limited time for a sit down lunch one of their Hulk or Activator smoothies would definitely suffice and hold you over for a good 4 - 6 hours. Sadly though the Rye location closed so I then had to make the pilgrimage to Dobbs Ferry. If you blink you drive right past the store. The staff was not as fun as Rye but hey they did their job. My smoothie was great; Greek Yogurt, Pineapple/Mango with Greek yogurt. Service is solid, and the space is clean. There is nowhere to sit inside though...but tables outside? It's 40 degrees out and our drinks our frozen. I also feel that that prices here are reasonable. read more

Hubby picked up a couple of smoothies for babes and I. They were decent. I would have preferred more peanut butter in my Protein Banana smoothies but the consistency was bomb. It was like a milkshake and the addition of the almonds was a nice touch. I wouldn't mind ordering in person to see if I get something closer to what I was looking for. Babes loved her Berry kids smoothie. It has vitamins in is which is nice. Both smoothies were in good shape when they got home, considering they had about a 20 minute drive to get here. The great part about them is if you accidentally pay for an order online and show up and another one, they tend to honor it. They're always polite and nice. Sales Rep, Damea, and Store Manager, Joe, are both so friendly and welcoming. They make me feel like a valued customer every day. What a wonderful feeling! I've been visiting this location daily for the past 3 years and I am never unsatisfied. The smoothies here are huge! A small is only about $5 and is the same size as a large at most other smoothie spots. Smoothie King's large is excessively large. I wouldn't be surprised if groups of four share it. I had the Caribbean Way smoothie. It was simple and delicious! Great consistency. I am glad they have Vegan options and the best is they use Sun Warrior brand protein so you know the quality is good. Well, when I mean "lie," I just mean that they tend to put more sugar in their delectable smoothies than they should be doing. Their smoothies aren't fattening just because of the sugar, though - they are healthier than let's say ... uh. A soda? A loaded energy drink? A cup of lard? They aren't "fattening" at all, in fact. If you want one of their truly healthful smoothies, order a low sugar smoothie. It's not super healthy, but it's healthy, alright. By the way, if you just drink these things and NOT work out, you'll just end up gaining more weight. That's why there's a NYSC above this place. Convenient placing, folks. I would recommend the muscle punch (a protein chalked shake with a fruity taste to it), the hulk (ordering these piss off the workers so much), or a raspberry collider (who comes up with these ridiculous names?). I also tried the wheat protein grass, which is a natural supplement that tastes like dirt, but has a loaded amount of protein in ounce sized shots. You could also sip a hearty styrofoam cup of blackberry dream (loaded with tiny, yet crunchy berry seeds) or a refreshing chalice of heavenly angel food (not actually food). If you don't like any of their smoothies, you can buy one of those big jars full of powder to bulk up. With their wide selection of body enhancing products, you can be just like Arnold Schwarzenegger or Fergie in no time! (just keep it low on the sugar). There is a large amount of available parking here. Other than this, everything about the location is negative. The employees are lackadaisical and refuse to **accept coupons**. This is not my first visit to Smoothie King. It's one of my daughter's all time fav's, so every time I head down the SMRP, I jump off, grab a smoothie and continue on my way. Today, I have to say I'm a little disappointed. I tend to order a Blueberry whatever, so I don't always pay attention to the details. Order up, jump in the car and off I go. Somewhere around Yonkers, I notice 1) a chemically type aftertaste, usually a result of some artificial sweetener, and 2) a somewhat "musty" smell/taste, which doesn't appear to be related to #1, but who knows. Bottom line, 2 stars and I'll definitely pay more attention to the ingredients next time I stop in. P.S. Place is clean and the help is friendly...no complaints on either of those fronts. read more

I literally watched a girl that works there walk up to the register and just stare at a customer until they said something. I started coming here in the morning before work (I'm a preschool teacher) trying for healthier options instead of coffee and energy drinks and this place has become my new go-to. Clean, no BS smoothies and fantastic upbeat employees. I usually get the Strawberry Banana treat which is a good, tasty drinkable breakfast and provides healthier energy. Prices may seem a little expensive at first but considering the very large cups you get they're not bad at all. I usually get a small or medium if I missed breakfast or a small as an afternoon lunch break snack. The service is pretty fast and I never seem to have to wait on a line after my gym routine. Also, I almost only go when I have a coupon and I have never been turned away or told it would not be accepted.
