I love Greenlife! The fruit smoothie with yogurt I had there was possibly the best smoothie I've ever had. The chicken teriyaki protein bowl was also great. The portions are huge. I could probably get three meals out of them, but I'm a tiny person. The area is spacious, so it's not too crowded, and the line to order doesn't take too long. The only downside is that the parking isn't the easiest, but that's just the way Mamaroneck parking is with the meters, etc. All in all, it's a great place! With my kitchen in demolition mode, walking sideways and not even making my fresh pressed juices in the a.m., I've been resorting to already-prepared juices from Pressed Juicery. The problem is- PJ's green juices only have a "hint" of ginger or Turmeric- and wanted more of a punch by getting shots here to add them to the juice. Place is grand with lots of seating. Noticed a loaded Salad station, veggie add-ons (maybe protein add-ons too) and Juice Bar on right- but didn't see Ginger or Turmeric shots until I asked one of the guys. Got one of each plus a "Green Monster" fresh pressed juice and felt all those nutrients going directly to my bloodstream. There's a fair share of calorie-conscious foods for health kick, diet, or detox. Even if you aren't on a health regimen, the menu sounds nice. Ginger shot was exactly that. But 'Turmeric' as listed in front of the shot label didn't taste like it. What's more, tasted extremely diluted then noticed lemon and ginger on the ingredient list¯\_(ツ)_/¯. This particular brand lacks strength and doesn't pack a punch for me whatsoever. Downtown Mamaroneck has a bunch of solid choices for food and this is one of them. The cowboy chow salad with salmon was what my coworker always has. Looked awesome. The kalefornia caesar salad with avocado was my go to and it was fresh and perfectly put together. Salads are simple but they are hard to do right. It wasn't overdressed and you can taste each ingredient. This place is busy but the line moves unless you order something that needs to be cooked. If you want salmon it takes a while. Greenlife is conveniently located on Mamaroneck Avenue and the area needs a place that serves healthy salads. The food is fresh and the service behind the counter responsive. They should try to offer more diverse salads. They do have a great variety of other items to choose including bison burgers, soups and so forth. The place is very clean. I wish they stayed open beyond 7 pm. They start closing at 6:30 pm so don't dawdle. Parking is hit or Miss on the avenue but generally good. The owner is there regularly. Prices are fair but like many take out places the register suggest 20-30% tip. Giving cash may be more appropriate if the order is large but this issue goes to the industry and not just this place. Stopped by for lunch today and dropped exactly $25.00 (w. 15% tip included) for a Sweet Chick wrap, sweet potato fries, and a "Refresh" juice (or whatever you want to call it). Initial reaction was that it's a lot of $$ for a simple meal. The wrap is fairly priced at $7.75 but the $4.40 fries and $8.00 are a little too much IMHO...especially the drink. Positives: - Food tasted good and felt healthy - Portions are pretty good but not grossly huge - Quality ingredients - Unique combinations of ingredients - Attractive/neat presentation of food - Clean and amply spacioius dining area - Food made to order and didn't take too long Negatives: - Pricing of some items - Street parking can be a little tight during peak hours All in all, I was happy with my food and am now a little wiser in what to order (and to not order). I'll be back soon enough as it's a good alternative to the typical delis, sushi spots, and pizzerias that litter this area. Great salad and fresh juices. Two comments. It is a bit expensive and it would be better if they were able to seal the juice cups instead of putting on tops with tape over the holes. They need to do what they do at boba places to seal the cups. I ended up with beet juice in my car, hands and clothes with the top still on, but leaking on the sides. read more

Okay so it's not that often that I actually decided to give five stars because I'm just a jackass like that. Here's why I like green life. if you look at places in the vicinity that offer salad by bulk 10th to be overpriced however you can get a very legitimately good salad for a very effective cost at Green Life. The quality is always fresh the food is always clean and I look forward to every bite that I get from this place. I'm not a big fan of some of the smoothies just because they lack the fruitiness that I'm looking for but the juices oh my God... Yes they're expensive but they're worth every cent. My favorite is the refresh. On a random note I'm also a big fan of the Chipotle main I don't know if they make it themselves but it's really good and it definitely adds a lot of flavor to anything you purchase. So in a climate of bacon on everything and really poor nutrition... Green life gives a little bit of an alternative at a good cost. read more

If you like salads, which I do it doesn't get any better than Greenlife. I have salad almost every day for lunch. Greenlife had a great variety of things to put in your salad plus they had about seven different kinds of salad dressing plus they had multiple bases of greens for the salad like kale, spinach, lettuce, Etc. If people don't want salad they have different kinds of sandwiches. The prices are reasonable. The place is clean. Cutting boards go to be washed after being used one time. That way one person's salad does not get mixed with the following person's salad. This place is great. I would easily come back here again when I'm in the neighborhood. read more

Last month, I got a delicious spinach salad with boiled eggs, Brussel sprouts, avocado, etc. it was delicious and super healthy. Everything was great until I had stomach pains shortly after. Had diarrhea followed by violent vomiting a couple hours later. Most definitely food poisoned. Shared drinks with others the same day and they did not get sick so I know this wasn't a bug. My mother went last night and got a turkey sandwich. Shortly after, had the same symptoms. She noted that the sandwich tasted great and became ill shortly after. I'm not sure if the food is not fresh, sits out for too long or what... but we have gotten sick from this place multiple times. Delicious food. I recommend as long as you don't mind violent vomiting and bouts of diarrhea. read more

YUM! I stopped by Greenlife as I was traveling for work in the area and in desperate need for some coffee and lunch. I ordered the Big Tuna sandwich and a large iced coffee. The staff was friendly and courteous and the ordering process was made simple and easy. The only reason they get four stars is because they advertised the Big Tuna being on one type of bread and served it on something completely different. If I am every in the area again for work I would definitely stop by and try something else on their large menu. Greenlife is a nice alternative to other Mamaroneck Ave restaurants. Clean, healthy options and a very nice staff. I called at 645p after unsuccessfully placing an order online because they were closing at 7, so they took my order over the phone and the food was ready by the time I got there, in 12 minutes or so. TERRIBLE experience! My dad ordered a bison burger and fries...the presentation looked like that of a prison meal, and the fries were like an undercooked potato cut into strips. My mom ordered a wrap, and after my dad and I had been served, went up to confirm that it was being made - the staff said yes. About 10 minutes later, the staff came over and told us that they had forgotten to charge us for the wrap and in fact hadn't made it - my dad and I had already finished eating dinner at this point - my mom said, "okay, I just won't eat dinner." We called the manager over to address this and the issue with the undercooked fries. The manager took a bite of one of my dad's fries right off of his plate, said it tasted great to him, and offered a bite of the half eaten fry to my mom. He did comp the meal, but that wasn't enough. I worked next door to this place for a little while and I used to like this place, I knew the salad tasted odd as if they were sprayed with pesticides right before they serve them to you so I usually opted for a juice. This time I came in and decide to try something different, A peanut butter and jelly smoothie because that sounds creative and delicious right? WRONG. I go into the bathroom and hear them calling my name for literally twenty seconds. I comeback out and think "Hrm well it must be in the process of being made." After three minutes of sitting there in confusion, I go up to the cashier to inform him that I ordered a peanut butter and jelly smoothie. He then looks at me, says "Ah Cierra" LAUGHS & then states that they were calling me but couldn't find me. CALLING ME FOR UNDER A MIN. I paid for it already so HOW FAR could I POSSIBLY GO??? He then turns around and grabs a smoothie from the fridge with a straw ALREADY IN IT! I look at the sides of it and the smoothie is spilled over the side of the cup. Now I know why they didn't just hand me the smoothie when I came from the bathroom like they'd usually do when I'd come back from work. It was because they were DRINKING IT. The service here is truly DESPICABLE! So I then give the smoothie back to the cashier and tell him that it is messy. He then proceeded to take it into the kitchen , come out laughing and consult with another worker who laughed as well. I then asked if I could just get another one until I overheard the two talking about me & calling ME and asshole. If anyone is the asshole it is the people that provide this type of disgraceful service with no regard to the proper handling of food being served to customers. They probably were all sipping my smoothie while I was peeing for all I know. I don't like my food to played around with & honestly I don't know anyone who does. I will never return. $10 for a smoothie that they employees feasted on for their lunch break? Then call you an asshole for drinking a smoothie that you paid for? What was I supposed to do honestly? Take it anyway? I THINK NOT. ARE YOU SERIOUS? What if I were to get sick? I don't know where these people's mouths have been or for a matter of fact what they were doing to that smoothie in the interim! wonderful concept that is poorly executed! there are many items that you can get on the salad however many of them cost extra including avocado and although the menu said they had jalapeños they did not have jalapeños! They have vegan, vegetarian and meat options, my friends and I all have different dietary needs so this is a great place to try if you're looking for a place to eat with friends. They are constantly adding new foods to their menu. You can create your own salad or wrap and they have a nice amount of ingredients you can choose from. You can stop by here for a quick bite to eat as the wraps and salads only take a few minutes to make. The prices are reasonable and the restaurant is always so clean! My review is solely based on customer service. I placed an order through the online portal on Wednesday July 21st for meal delivery (and paid the delivery fee) for Sunday July 25th. I received an e-mail confirming the order for Sunday... Sunday subsequently came and went with no meal delivery or communication from Greenlife. On Monday, I contacted them via email to inquire about the delivery and received no response. On Tuesday, I received a call from Greenlife asking if I was coming to pick up my order. I advised that I requested and paid for delivery and asked if I could reschedule and have a new order placed for the following week as I was going out of town. Greenlife advised "they cannot do that as the meals are already made" and delivered the meals to me on Tuesday which were 3 days old at that point (it was confirmed to me by Greenlife that it was made Saturday night). It was edible however I called back on Tuesday and asked if I could be partially compensated for their error and accepting 3 day old food. I was advised I would receive a call back and never did... It's unfortunate their customer service is so poor as I am someone who is inclined to regularly order prepared meals and they have good food as well as a wide variety of options.
