I love SoBol, especially the one in Mamorneck. Their granola is one of the best I have gotten in an açaí bowl. They also put the perfect amount of Nutella and in the perfect spot that when you put the lid on, it doesn't stick to the top. Most places when I take it to go that happens and it's disappointing. They launched a new chocolate flavor açaí base. I was afraid to order it so the women let me try a sample. So sweet! They are located on Mamaroneck ave which is so close to my job. SoBol Mamaroneck Experience. During lockdown I had been going through Açaí Bowl withdrawals and needed to satiate my Açaí fix. CV-19 restrictions began to ease slightly, so having already checked my Yelp app for the nearest SoBol location and heading to Westchester anyway, I included SoBol Mamaroneck as a pitstop. SoBol's setups are modern, with neat esthetics. This Mamaroneck location shares a fairly large space with an ice cream parlor, offering the allowance of more seating to properly social distance. After 6 months of no Syosset açaí in my monthly rotation, my anticipation and expectations were high. I ordered my usual, regular açaí with ground flaxseeds and layered almond butter. The server behind the counter couldn't comprehend what ground flaxseeds were and had to ask someone. I certainly get it, you live and you learn something new everyday. The other young lady mentioned they only had whole flaxseeds. No problem I'll take the whole seeds. As for the request to layer the almond butter, that was another foreign ask to the poor servers as they had no clue what layering meant. Okay, another teachable Açaí Bowl moment. The ladies were pleasant but this was not a great start. Please note, my request for Ground Flaxseeds and layering of a nut butter are not something I made up. These were suggestions offered to me by the Syosset, Long Island location. Ground Flaxseeds over Whole are more palatable imo. As for the almond butter, it was added but as a single dollop, rather than the preferred layering which usually provides a spoonful of happiness with each bite. I will own the fact that I've been spoiled by the Syosset location and I have them to blame for my expectations. Sadly, the Mamaroneck açaí was a tad icy and lacked that all knowing açaí flavor. Having had consistent bowls elsewhere, it goes without saying I won't be venturing to the Mamaroneck location again. I've since lost my craving and currently don't mind waiting until I am back within the vicinity of Syosset to receive a properly made SoBol Açaí Bowl. 3.5 Stars for a very clean store plus patient servers. read more

Terrible...Horrible...Dreadful...Appalling...customer service. The arrogance and inattentiveness of the young lady that served me. I had specifically ordered a Classic Green Bowl with cacao nibs. Which, I had purchased for approximately $14.00. Instead, the obnoxious servant foolishly decided to give me a bowl that was not my choice. As I began to correct the obnoxious servant about my incorrect order. The obnoxious servant talked over me and refused to hear my grievance. The obnoxious servant had a real condescending and prestigious tone towards me. I should had gone with my first thought and purchase a salad directly across the street at Green Life. They have much better and attentive service. I will never patronage SoBol Mamaroneck in this lifetime nor in the next time! Terrible...Horrible...Espantoso...Espantoso...servicio al cliente. "I went to Sobol in Mamaroneck, NY, and honestly, it was pretty gross. The cook, who's this American guy, wasn't wearing gloves while making stuff, even with the Ralph's ice cream. His hands looked dirty, and he had dirt under his nails. On the plus side, the curly guy is super nice and gives great service, but I saw cockroaches on the counter, and on the side where they keep the chips, there was rat poop. It just feels really unhygienic, and it made me lose my appetite. I hope they clean things up." read more

Del - wait for it - icious. I could eat sobol for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And again for a late night snack during this miserable quarantine where I'm just PACKING the lbs. I usually get an açaí bowl - FIRE. I was reading some of the comments and someone commented that the fruit wasn't fresh and that sobol was "garbish." Lol. I honestly took that a little to heart AND I'M HERE TO RIGHT THAT WRONG. Sobol's ingredients are extremely fresh and hit the spot every. time. First of all, I just wanted to say that the gentleman working the register and back today deserves a raise, and a compliment for his outstanding service. I asked if they had hot food today and when I noticed they didn't have the burrito, he told me he could make it anyway as long as I didn't want to have any meat in it. Lucky for me, I'm a vegetarian so I didn't want anything extra in it. Not only did it get made perfectly and taste great, he accommodated me even though he didn't have to. The only thing that I can say is that they should really Honor the prices at others SoBol locations . I came in and I told him what I wanted. Also asked him if he would stamp my card and I had seven other stamps on there so it's not like I'm not a loyal customer. I let him know the prices that I pay in Yonkers but still he charger me for every additional item instead of just substituting the other fruits , which are all about the same price. I get it he's young kid maybe trying to follow the rules but then from corporate and higher management you guys have to get on the same page because it really seems like a rip off.
