I stopped by one of my all time favorite places to pick up the best tasting combo around. 5/5 High Protein in Banana with a scoop of peanut butter is a combo you need to try. It's not only good for your body, when they make it right it's heavenly. Remember to tell them to use less water so you can get the entire shake inside the cup. Stopped by Smoothie King and decided to try the espresso chocolate protein smoothie. It was decent but nothing too memorable. The flavor leaned more chalky than rich, and the espresso didn't really stand out the way I expected. Texture was on the thicker side, which made it filling, but a bit heavy to finish. Because no matter what you ask for there's always something that's wrong and they don't refund it so I'm not so greatly appreciative of this place. Revisited this place because Aventura was being remodeled and knowing it's the worse smoothie king in the area. It didn't disappoint with their poor customer service. I ordered my large smoothie through the drive through. When I get to the window I ask the girl if she could pour some of my smoothie into a small cup for my daughter. She said no and the cup would be an additional 25 cents. Then give me the credit card reader prompting me for a tip. Tip for what? Making a mess in my car because asking you to pour was too much to ask? I must add it was the worst tasking Peanut Power Plus I ever had. read more

I love smoothies. I've tried to make them at home but they never turn out very good. The smoothies at Smoothie King are delicious. They have many different types of smoothies and many different flavors. I always order a fruit flavor. The last time I had mango banana. Clyde and I shared a 32 ounce drink. The people working there split the drink into two cups so we each had our own. It was fruity, refreshing, and delicious. I like that it wasn't too sweet. The people working at this location were friendly and helpful. They even helped me decide which smoothie to get. The place was clean and inviting. I'm sorry but this place isn't pleasant for me. I've come here twice & both times the experience has been the same, POOR. There are young kids working here; not saying there's anything wrong with that, however, it's more than evident that they could care less about your presence. They're busy on their phone, and you coming into the place is clearly interrupting their social media session. This place doesn't seem well taken care of. Both times I've been here it's been the same, looks dirty (papers on the floor, etc...). The employees DO NOT greet you when you walk through the door & needless to say, you don't feel welcomed at all. The drinks are "OK". This is the closest smoothie king to our home. However, they make the worst smoothies. They are watery and not like any other smoothie king makes them in Miami. Go south to any other smoothie king and you have a much better experience. This quaint little shop is conveniently located right off of Biscayne Blvd sharing the T Mobil building. The best part is DRIVE THRU. I request that all Smoothie Kings be a drive thru. Love it. I visit occasionally for their Meal Replacement shakes. The ingredients are pretty basic, and you can sub out if you want to it 'clean'. I haven't been in awhile but upon arrival I noticed a re-vamping of the menu. My eyes laid on their Vegan and Dark Chocolate. The chocolate was soo indulgent and satisfies even the most obscure of sweet tooth's. I slurped until I almost lost my eye sight from brain freeze. I could not stop. If you can't make it after a workout give their AM coffee shakes a try. I came back the following morning and picked up a cinnamon latte protein shake with almond milk. 30 grams of protein, needless to say it was very tasty and especially satisfying. If you haven't been in awhile I suggest you give their new menu a try. You'll soon become a fan like me! read more

Extremely disappointed!!! My husband and I just went through the drive-thru and ordered three drinks. The woman sounded completely hung over, uninterested , not wanting to be there and did not give one shit! She couldn't even repeat our order, while seeming highly confused, and sounded very rude! We finally pull up to get our order at the window and we sat there for 15 minutes to finally get our smoothies and because she couldn't repeat our order we asked for the receipt and then she tried to explain to us, as she tapped heavily on the machine and said it's not working! Sadly, this location without a doubt has the least friendly staff. They never seem to be in a good mood or happy to serve you. Smoothies are amazing. This is my first time here and it was pretty good. I will definitely return for my Meal Replacement on my weight loss journey. The Cashier helped us decide and was pretty attentive. Plus they have a Drive Thru.. double chocolate chip cookie was only 220 calories. I had the Activator Pineapple minus the apple juice with blueberry juice.. 450 calories, not sweet but really worth it. Lines are usually short (both in person and drive-thru). Except when that guy on his bicycle shows up to the drive-thru. Ugh that guy, why is he riding a bike if he can't be bothered to walk inside? Your bike does not set off the sensor and the staff does not know you are there. So that makes the line take forever. Love the staff here, they are funny and good at making smoothies, they also suggest smoothies when you are not quite sure what you want today... I wouldn't call it healthy, but it's good. The drive through service is great! I wouldn't change that for nothing. They are quick and you get what you want in a timely manner. Prices are okay for meal replacements or smoothies and location is just perfect because is right there next to the LA FITNESS. I liked what I got even tho I couldn't taste much the mangostino which is why I got that flavor. I like that they tell you the amount of calories depending on the size that you get. Ordered a mango kale, and we noticed the receipt said "mango fest" as the lady came back to the window We told her what we ordered and she stared giving us attitude and arguing with us saying that we didn't order the mango kale.
