My boyfriend and I love coming to this place! It's conveniently located right next to the gym that he goes to so he's there even more than me and he always brings home the yummiest dishes. We always switch it up with what we get to eat but one of my go-to staples is "the burrito" wrap. It's literally the perfect burrito, made with steak, and they are generous with the portions. It's like a flavor explosion in your mouth. I especially love the spicy cilantro garlic sauce they put in. We also love making our own bowls. They have this green spinach rice which is unique, yummy and somewhat healthy so it makes you feel good about getting it as your bowl base ha. They have all types of vegetables and toppings. They give you 6 in a large bowl. This time we tried hot peppers and onions, chickpeas, sweet plantain, corn, pico de gallo, cheese, and their new grilled shrimp tossed in a mango pineapple salsa. Honestly, both of them were so delicious. We tried the spicy guava sauce this time and it was such a hit for this local Miami girl. I'm writing this review because I'm highly annoyed. This is the third time that I've come here to get a green shake with additives that were not added. For example, I add glutamine, creatine, extra strawberry protein, and spirulina to every green smoothie that's an additional 4 to 5 dollars per shake 3 to 5 times per week. Do the math. Again today the guy comes out with a shake that clearly has no spirulina in it because if you know...you know that spirulina changes the color of the shake to a deep, dark forest green color. I can bet my life that he also didn't add the extra protein either because when the shake is made correctly, it is so thick you almost have to chew it (just how I like it) today's shake is extremely liquidy. The food here is great. The shakes are great when they're made the way you order and pay for but this place is extremely expensive for them to be skipping steps and missing additives that make the shakes $15 and none of the employees seem to give a damn about that. I do not like that you cannot see them making the shakes because you have no idea if they're actually adding the glutamine the creatine the protein etc & so forth...it's disheartening and frustrating. When I said something to the girl at the register, she literally asked me if I paid for it as if the order is not up on the screen nor on the receipt... she apologized but like I said, this is the THIRD time that this has happened I work hard for my money as does everybody else and I want to know that I'm getting what I'm paying for. It's not rocket science. I think I'm going to find myself another smoothie spot where I can see them making the smoothies and know that they're actually adding the additives that I'm paying for. And for playing with my money like that, I am awarding this establishment two stars. Do better by your customers. read more

Disappointing. I've had Smoothie Spot at other locations before and this location was upsetting. The wraps I ordered had the wrapping stuck to them (while also being dirty on the outside.) The veggie wrap was also breaking apart as I was eating it and didn't taste great. Couldn't finish it. The juices are super watered down. They've tasted better at other locations. The staff weren't mean but they also took a long time to retrieve my order when it was behind them the whole time (not sure what they were delayed for.) When I walked in the lady didn't say hello or acknowledge me, she pretended as if I was invisible. Once the Caucasian and Hispanic customers walked in, she spoke and said hello welcome.
