I recently stopped at Smoothie King on one of these extremely hot sunner days. A smoothie sounded good. They were a little busy. That gave me time to read the menu. I chose a large strawberry smoothie. The friendly lady made the smoothie perfect. It tasted great. It was not overly sweet wnd the steawberry flavor was very fresh. I saved some for later on that day. I alternated between putting it in the freezer and then the refrigerator. This way it did not get too mushy or frozen. A few hours after buying the smoothie, I went to finish it. It tasted ok but the flavor went downhill quickly. I stopped in here with a friend for breakfast. I had the five grain avocado toast. The flavor was good however the avocado was more like a thin spread. The service was okay. They didn't go out of their way to make sure we were alright. Warm tap water was a disappointment but not a huge deal. This location is rather simple. They don't have enough seating. I've gone to Smoothie King a few times. I'm not much into Smoothies, but I do like their protein yogurt with strawberries , blueberries, chia seeds and honey. My friend ordered 5 grain bread with avocado and chia seeds. The foods were pretty good and the service was fairly quick. The store looked clean. Parking is a bit difficult since a coffee shop opened, but this isn't their fault. If I could fix a few things about this shop, I would have more seating. I suppose they are more of a take and go place, but even when waiting, there wasn't much place to sit. My friend asked for water and the employee gave her warm tap water. Not good. The employees also need to be a bit friendlier. I will go back but I won't ask for water or expect smiles. read more

All hail the king of smoothies. I have been going to Smoothie Kings around the country since I first discovered them in the late 90s, and this is one of the better locations. The only thing it is missing is a drive thru. If you have never been to a Smoothie King, they have all sorts of Smoothies, plus a small health food section where you will find shakers, protein powders, snacks, and supplements. As far as smoothies go, they always taste fresh and are made with quality ingredients. I have never had an issue with the smoothie not being made properly, or not tasting good. Also, they have a $5 special on Fridays where any smoothie is $5. Smoothie King has an app where you can scan your receipt and get rewards towards a free smoothie. This location is on the ned of a little strip mall, so you have to kind of look for it to find it. The staff is always friendly, courteous, and efficient. There's really not a whole lot to say about Smoothie King other than it's delicious and consistent. My ultimate favorite is "The Hulk" which comes in vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. My favorite is strawberry, and I add peanut butter yummmm. It is a high calorie smoothie, so make sure you read the exact caloric intake on their site/menu; because of that, I drink it as a meal replacement. This location gets busy, but the line moves smoothly and the smoothies are delicious. Don't forget to download their app so you rack up points to redeem for rewards. I visited this location for a lunch snack. The place was pretty busy. There were about 5 people in line. Typically when I visit smoothie king it is only one to two people. However there were multiple people working so the wait was not long. The inside was very clean. The seating area was free of trash and the tables were clean. The staff greeted everyone who walked in the door. I was able to order quickly and use my app to add rewards. They have parking in the front of the restaurant. There is not a drive thru at this location. It is at the end of a shopping plaza, and most of the parking was taken. However, most people seem to be in and out of the shopping center quickly. The smoothie I ordered came out in reasonable time. It was delicious! I usually order the same smoothie every time and I have been to other locations where the smoothie was missing something. There's nothing like coming to a smoothie joint on a hot summer morning. I heard about this place from my old coworkers, so I was curious and wanted to check it out for myself. I opened the door, and a whiff of smoothie aroma filled my nostrils. I can already taste the smoothies before I even step foot inside. I love the employees! As a first-time customer, they gave me an overview of the menu, and I spotted the drink that caught my interest - Chocolate Peanut Power Plus (try saying that five times fast). It has peanut butter, bananas, non-fat-milk, turbinado, cocoa, and protein blend. It was very creamy and delicious. I couldn't wait to drink the rest of it when I got home. However, as soon as I got home, I exited my car, and my clumsy fingers dropped the entire drink ALL over my car. It took me a while to process what happened, and it ruined my day in an instant. This drink was too fantastic, and I only took a few slips, so I hopped back in my car and drove back to purchase another one. As I walked back inside the place, one of the employees recognized me and said with a smile, "Did you come back for another drink? I'm sure you enjoyed it." I explained the unfortunate news to him, and he asked, "What did you order again?" I said the Chocolate Peanut Power Plus. The employees felt awful about what happened, and without question, they said that they would pay for my drink. I didn't know what to say - I was so happy! You walk in to see a huge wall of protein & protein snacks. There's a couple options for seating if you want to relax with your smoothie. The owners are awesome! Really friendly. Smoothie King at 15819 Pines Blvd just told my daughter their peanut free blender is broken. a) it's not a blender -- it's just the container. An orange container that is placed on any one of their motors. b) you only have one container? Really?? Sadly, we didn't find this out until we had already placed and prepaid our order online. Leaving bad reviews are useless but I feel obliged to write this one. So this morning I ordered & paid for a medium smoothie. The guy gives me a small & when I told him I ordered a medium he said "oh sorry" then poured the few drops that were leftover in the blender into a kids cup that didn't even fill it up like a third of the way. When I asked if I could at least have it in a medium cup (so I'm not walking around with two small ones) he said "sorry I'm not allowed to give you another cup".... and at that point I just left since I was in a hurry. This is smoothing king is located in a shopping center. There is plenty of parking and the times I've been here I haven't had an issue with parking at all. The staff is usually nice, but we all have those days. There's been times I've been here and staff just seems out of it as if they are tired or hate their job, but then there's other days and they are happy go lucky. A great way to end a workout! They're sizes are BIG! If you order a medium you might think that they gave you an upgrade for FREE! When I go I love the matcha green tea. It is not too sweet and you are able too add anything as well. Might sound weird but I add bananas to my shake. They also have snacks that you can purchase as well as some FITNESS items such as , protein bottles, protein powder and so much more. There customer service is awesome. Unfortunately my regular visit to smoothie king located on pines Blvd and dykes road Was a terrible experience due to the Shift Leader, Isabelle's attitude. I had said "can I please have a immune booster?" where she replied "yeah whatever as long as you can pay for it". I would have not been in a smoothie store if I was not able to purchase my drink. Then she went on to claim she has no control over the app, threw my order and straw on the table which continued to create an uncomfortable in store experience. However, I came today and instead of getting my usual I try something new, unfortunately I did not like the smoothie so I respectfully asked if I can get a different smoothie, told the guy what smoothie I'd like he said okay in a nonchalant way and completely ignored me. There was 1 other customer in the store at the time. A lot more guest can in a few minutes after, and they served every single one and completely ignored me. I work in a restaurant, replacing a smoothie that takes 3minutes is no where as difficult and stressful as replacing a meal that takes 15-20. Im never coming back.
