Cleanliness and presentation are really important in a place that serves food and drinks, and this location did not meet basic expectations. Everyone loves a good smoothie and i'll admit they've never got my order wrong at this location i love smoothie king it always is macro friendly for those with fitness goals. Unfortunately for this location everytime i order ahead of time it seems they never have my order made or at least rarely i think the staff are just hanging out in the back room or something i wouldn't blame them considering its 2 hours before closing time and everyone's ready to go home but some of us have short lunch times and my only wish is that they could be better at the online orders response time, there was one instance where i had no response at the drive thru and had to head inside only for no one to be at the front desk and had to wait an additional 15 min only for the to have to remake my order because it wasn't made in the first place im sure theres better locations but this one in particular you never know what your gonna get for that i gave it 3 stars. read more

I went here on Saturday at 3 o'clock after work. I am a fan of dude perfect and always want to try their smoothies so I went over to smoothie king right after I saw there were overtime video to try the smoothie so I went over to smoothie King and I asked you to do perfect smoothie and they said yes and I said great. I'll take one and they said would you like the cup I said does they said a dollar and I said OK that's fine. I'll take it, one for the smoothie and then 1081 for the smoothie and the cup. I'm not very sure why it's so expensive but then again I haven't been to smoothie king in a while or because it's dude perfect and they know that they can charge a lot or maybe because of all the ingredients that's in the smoothie the smoothie is very good. I will say that however the service is just OK, they are pretty slow but quite friendly. There was one of the person that ordered a smoothie with me and it took them four minutes to get one smoothie done and it took them seven minutes from me ordering the smoothie to get my smoothie. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Placed a mobile order, and got charged twice due to it timing out. Then it timed out on the app. Went there and spoke with the lady that was doing the mobile orders. She did not know what was going on. So the manager said she would help me after she was done. This location is always pretty meh. Not bad, but not outstanding. There is usually only one person working there, so it can bottleneck really quickly. Last weekend the lady that was working was clueless. I don't expect them to be licensed nutritionists or anything, but they are baristas at what claims to be a health conscious vendor, which means they should have at least basic knowledge about what they are serving. I don't know if this was a training issue, or if it was just this individual person. However, the lady working was clueless, and couldn't suggest a fruity drink that had the most protein in it or even if she could add protein to one of the existing mixes. This is about this specific Smoothie King, not the chain in general. Anyway, aside from the frustration, I do recommend this location and I will be going back whenever I'm in the neighborhood. This location should be a little more friendly (especially the older guy with the wavy salt n pepper hair)! You're selling smoothies in the ac for God's sake, not bricks on the heat. Smile a little! Interact with your customers! One thing I like to do is call my smoothies in but they never answer. I finally downloaded the app and super stoked to used my rewards and I was being told my rewards weren't valid and to contact corporate. Palm Valley location accepts my rewards just fine. I won't give my money to the Sundance location anymore even though it's closest to my house. I'll drive the extra mile to use my rewards and be treated better by staff at another location. Okay so boyfriend and I were planning our weekly trip to the Sams when we realized we need to eat something before shopping on empty stomachs, and we remembered receiving coupons in the mail for Smoothie King and it's new featured smoothie, the vegan mixed berry. Both of us now vegan for the past two months, we said let's go!! We walk in, no one greeted us, not the young man serving, not the lady popping in and out from behind the counter to the back of the store....hm..(both my boyfriend and myself work in service and we know the difference between great, good and poor customer service.) With the coupons in hand, we examined the menu and the lady working there says "just so you know, we only accept coupons that are from this location." That's fine, understandable. But it was the first thing she said to us, not a "hey guys" or "how are you two doing today?" Just short, and detached from us, the paying customers. (Boyfriend and I both agree that we should've walked out right then, being that we are young Latino minorities, and actually, sadly enough this happens more often then not-- since this incident we both agree to walk out on any businesses that treat us so unfriendly or rudely especially right from the start. Both of us now put off by this experience we decided to fold up the coupons and save them for our Georgetown location. Still hungry, we decided and went with the vegan mixed berry, which was delicious! (Even though she threw all the ingredients together unenthusiastically, pressed the blender buttons and dipped back from the front of the store.) the vegan mixed berry definitely washed out the bad taste of a poor CS experience! I did get a new phone and haven't uploaded or logged into my smoothie king app yet, so I figured they could (and have before) look up my number and use my points, or rack them up at least! And the same young woman said her last and final comment which was "we can only do rewards through the app." Once again, she cut our options short, high jacking a quick and simple customer service experience and turned it into an even more unpleasant one. Not wanting to be helpful or trying to bring us back for repeat business, just an attitude of "hurry up, pay, and leave already." The two comments were the ONLY words spoken to us during our visit, nothing else. This I have a problem with, and I haven't visited this location in over two years. Usually it's a husband/wife (I think) working, and I assumed maybe the young lady is their daughter? Who is probably being forced to work there due to our receding economy? Otherwise, I have no idea what kind of person would get a job dealing with paying customers if you hate interacting/serving them. Point is 1.) try the vegan mixed berry!! They use and offer oat milk at smoothie king now! 2.) don't buy it or ANYTHING from this location unless you wish to be treated indecently and/or you hate yourself. The family that runs this place is extremely welcoming which plays a huge part in this location being my number one choice. I've gone to this Smoothie King ~8 times. Every time I order the same thing - The Hulk in vanilla. This particular smoothie comes with Pecan ice cream. Every time I order this, I ask for regular yogurt instead of the Pecan ice cream, and every time I order it I watch the person making my smoothie (read - the manager) drop a nice heaping scoop of Pecan ice cream in the blender. After about ~5 times ordering this same smoothie, and asking for yogurt but getting ice cream, I once politely said "would you mind re-making this? I had asked for yogurt." The same manager was making my smoothie this time and was clearly having a bad day. I didn't know ice cream scoopers and blenders could stand up to such abuse being slammed and thrown around. I wrote this off as "well maybe he was just having a bad day." Happens to all of us, right? Well, I just went in there again tonight. Ordered the same smoothie, made by the "manager", with another nice heaping scoop of Pecan ice cream, which I did not ask for. In fact, yet again, I politely asked for yogurt. I did not ask him to re-make my smoothie this time as I really did not feel like dealing with another temper tantrum. Oh - and I'm not asking for yogurt instead of vanilla to be difficult. I'm actually allergic to Pecans. When someone politely asks for you to substitute something it's usually for a reason. It would be a shame if someone went into anaphylactic shock and had to be rushed to the E.R. to be treated. That lawsuit would be a nightmare for your company.
