The worst experience I have had at a Smoothie King. It took them forever to make my smoothie and I was the only one there initially. They lollygagged and took their time. The female was in the back and the male yelled for her to come out. She was sloppy and immature well both of them. They need professional training. I bet if they got that they would be good at their positions. The smoothie I got I get all the time it is my favorite. I haven't been to this smoothie king in a while but I've been getting this smoothie since 1996. It is my fav Blackberry Dream. So I know how it is supposed to taste. It was rancid. I knew the blackberries they used were fermented and disgusting. I asked one of the employees that was there as a customer if she could get their attention so they knew the smoothie was rancid. She yelled at them and she couldn't get their attention so she just checked the berries and they were DISGUSTING. They made me a fresh smoothie with new berries after she suggested it to them. Get it together folks. There are good employees out there that have excellent customer service. Making smoothies is NOT that difficult so what you have is quality control and CUSTOMER SERVICE to concentrate on. Figure it out or you are going to lose all your customers to Jamba Juice. read more

I drive out of my way to go tho this specific Smoothie King! They always have happy music playing and seem to really enjoy making smoothies. Mr. Smidgens loves a good smoothie and the owners of this Smoothie King know how to make them. You may ask yourself, "How do you foxtrot a smoothie?" Simple, you put the wrong amount of ice in them. It's not rocket science but it is a science!! I don't care what time of day it is or what day it is they greet you with a smile and they are efficient as a hamster running in his/her little wheel going round and round. Very amazing smoothie, all the employees were super fast and friendly. I love how this location enforced a safe social distancing and the mask policy. Being able to see the employees make my smoothie as well seeing them clean and sanitize everything as they go put me at ease. The young lady working the front was super friendly answering all my questions and recommending which smoothies she thought were the best. They pricing for a smoothie for the amazing flavor and size you get is definitely worth every penny. I would definitely recommend trying a banana berry smoothie! read more

NO customer service. I go to this Smoothie King every once in while and have a Rewards App for SK. Yesterday I was not feeling well and needed some yogurt in my system before going to work. I stopped in at 7:17 am and this store opens at 7:00 am. When I walked in I was the probably the first customer of the day and the only one in the store. I recognized the man behind the counter as one of the owners from prior conversation and gave a friendly "good morning". No response, which was fine. No big deal. The gentleman was preparing his store by putting utensils in the drawers. I was looking at the menu and after a brief time of silence, I asked "do you have anything with yogurt"? The gentleman responded with "can you hold on a moment". Not sure why he couldn't answer a simple question even if he was just putting utensils away. At that point, I wanted to just walk out that store and go on with my day but since I was not feeling well, I waited patiently till he was done. Here is the kicker. When he finally took my order, I gave him my phone with my rewards information and he scanned the bar code. I then told him I had a $1 off a smoothie as part of my points I earned. He told me I COULDN'T use it because he already scanned my bar code. Boy did I want to walk out but since he had my credit card in the scanner, all I could do was wait for my smoothie and made sure he didn't sabotage it. read more

I usually stay away from reviewing franchises because I figure that if you've been to one, you've been to them all. However, I had to review this place because the service here is so good. Every employee here has always been so nice and friendly. The guy that seems to be the owner always delivers great service. I tend to always order the same thing and the guy always knows what I want & how I want it: 20oz pomegranate smoothie with acai, made skinny & with a little less ice to make it more liquidy. Walked in the door, no 'hi/hello/ how can I help you,' just "Ready to order?" I had been to this location before and had a decent experience, so I brought my girl friend back this time. It was her first time so we responded "Not yet." The cashier did not respond with anything, he just immediately walked into the back room. We stood there for about 5 minutes before being greeted again with a "Ready now?" We were ready, so I tried to place my order. The previous time I had been to this location I ordered a pina colada with apples instead of pineapples. Sounds silly, but I am allergic. The attendant rudely responded that it wouldn't taste right with apples, to which I replied that I had had it before. He didn't care and refused to make it with apples. So then I asked him if I could have it without pineapples and he refused to do that also. The man was very rude and because of this we left without ordering. We went around 7:30 6/9/13. I am a Smoothie King fan, and so are my kids. Well on this particular day, our first at this location, it was hot out so I thought I treat my kids. We get in and start looking at the menu. My son who is learning to read was reading all the letters on all the merchandise at the counter. My daughter next to him was jumping and celebrating the ones he got right. Out of no where the man behind the counter tells me to get my kids under control. Excuse me? I asked him to repeat what he just said and he made it clear that me and my kids were not welcome. I was appalled. I could have made a scene as other customers were also taken back, but I chose to politely leave...why on earth would I purchase anything from a place that is NOT kid or parent friendly. I recently walked in to smoothie king. The two men working there took the "king" to a whole new level by acting like they were better than the rest of us. When I asked a question I was cut off and rudely answered. I asked about a sale someone had mentioned to me and the "brute" behind the counter rudely and abruptly told me that the deal didn't exist. The rudeness caused me to leave and take my business else where... Another individual asked for a free smoothie and was rudely asked to leave... Up to the point where they kicked him out. I usually order the exact same thing every Monday after my morning jog. I always go to the Pflugervillle location but was needing to buy something at OldNavy so I decided to drop by the Round Rock location. As soon as we walked in, no one even acknowledged us. It was a hispanic man and woman working the counter. My fiance and I placed our order reminding the man that we wanted the Monday 32oz special for $5. As I was about to pay, the man tells me my total and it was not what i usually pay. I told him that I wanted the special and he said what I ordered was a premium smoothie and that special didn't apply. I simply told him that I guess you make up your own prices and he said yep! Pros: I really love their Angel Food smoothie and it's a great meal substitute. Cons: While the smoothies would be a great breakfast food, I've gone there multiple times in the morning when, according to the fading hours posted on the door they SHOULD be open, the door was locked and the one employee was not there.
