As I walked in the door, I was met with smiling faces and a beautifully decorated old time ice cream shoppe. It was welcoming and clean and simply lovely! Gabby and Mariah were the sweet treats that served me today. They *helped* me walk out the door with much more than I anticipated. Yep, they sold me with the samples! I came in for one scoop of vegan ice cream, and instead I left with a whole lot of Italian Ice... a Carrot Mango pint and a special September Sundae made with Electric Watermelon! The sundae had Electric Watermelon Italian ice (tastes like a jolly rancher) mangoes, pineapple whip, chamoy and Tajin. Oh it was pretty too...My tastebuds were so ready for that party! They gave me a lid for the sundae but I finished it before I made it home-- while driving. Not sure what I'd tell the officer if I got pulled over. "Ma'am, are you drunk?" So that being said, they only had one flavor that I could try at the time I did appreciate that they had a laminated sheet of paper that listed all of the allergens and all of their flavors, so anyone that had an allergy could quickly see which flavors they could try and which ones they should avoid. During my visit, I ordered their mint basil sorbet which was very good. At five dollars per scoop, it's definitely on the pricier side. However, the ambience inside this ice cream shop was nice and I could see myself hanging out here socially if they had more dairy free options. But overall, I had an okay experience here. The workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. They are located in a small plaza with ample parking. It was also easy to get in and out of the parking lot, which I think is a big plus.
