Smoothie King is one of my favorites places to grab a smoothie or an açaí bowl. Unfortunately, this will be this last time I come to this location. I have given them three chances and each time I have had to wait well over 30 minutes to get my bowl in the drive thru lane. I don't understand why they are not required to wear food handling gloves. Every worker touches the scooper, they rotate at the window, they are constantly cleaning after orders. I watched a worker pick up something off the ground- with bear hands& proceeds making someone's smoothie or acacia bowl. You guys are putting ppl at risk of contracting food borne illnesses/ stomach viruses due to unsanitary practices at this location. Pls fix it! Gloves should be required not an option. read more

I don't know what to say other than this is the slowest place in the area. The quality of my the smoothies I have had have all been very good. Yet, the endurance to get it makes it's not worth one's time. I ordered on the app for the first time yesterday. I though this might improve the speed. It did not. I waited an hour before I even left to get the smoothie. It wasn't ready and the employee said the "order didn't come through." I find that hard to believe as everything on my end showed that it worked. I am sure I was in the drive though 15 plus minutes... waiting. Remember, this is after I waited an hour to even get in line. I understand that almost every place is short staffed. There is continually a sign on the window asking for patience. Well, I guess my patience has worn thin with SK. Again, the quality is there, but with the price we pay... the wait shouldn't be what it is. There were three people working yesterday. read more

For some odd reason Smoothie King is more like a milkshake king. I see a lot of gym goers come in and order the wide panel of options but I also see waaaaay to much sugar in use. I love this place because of the vegan options but if it's labeled vegan it needs to be organic and I'm not sure some of the employees focus on the available organic options while filling orders. For me it's how I feel after I eat that makes the difference. Organic for me is raw, healthy and clean energy for a longgg and strong night of whatever, work or pleasure. I believe in originality and the founders mission was to bring a healthy alternative to the masses not a basic milkshake with added fruit. Natural sugar occurring in fruit can be an issue but not so much if it's " real fruit " and not canned. If you go everyday that could become an issue but once or twice a week with the healthiest blends should " add too not take away" from your goal of an easily digested healthy alternative. read more

Okay, I don't take leaving reviews lightly. I understand in today's economy many food services establishments are overwhelmed, overworked and short staffed. I always take the time to ask how people are and genuinely listen for a response and I generally always leave a tip. This visit was no different. I went in because there was one other customer inside and a long line of cars in the drive thru. Ordered three of the same flavored smoothies, one with energy. Upon receiving the three smoothies and as she was handing me the smoothies, one had a receipt on top of the smoothie closest to me. She took the receipt to look at it and then placed it on another (one closest to her) she asked then if I ordered smoothies with energy. I corrected her and said, I only wanted one with energy, she said oh okay yes, only one has energy and proceeds to push them toward me. I asked her if she was sure and then told me it was the one with the receipt, but not the one that original had the receipt on it. I asked 'are you sure, as I saw you first had the receipt on this one (the one closest to me)'? I explained that we need to be sure which has energy as I have someone with me who could not have that in their smoothie. She then asked 'since your unsure, do you want me remake one of them?' Are you serious!!!!!! What I am also sure of, is this was completely unacceptable. In a service industry, employers need to ensure the well being of their employees. I recognized how overwhelmed they all were in there, had I continued with her rude conversation, the exchange between us could have gone in a really bad direction. More importantly giving my elderly mother the wrong smoothie could also be hazardous to her health. This is not my first visit to this location. I have had good experiences to this location, however this visit is very concerning. read more

It just opened yesterday. But they had a VIP SOFT OPENING THE DAY PRIOR. I cannot express the amount of appreciation that it's finally open. Since the soft opening I have been back 3 times lol.. love it! The owner is the sweetest person and management is awesome. I will continue to visit as much as I can. read more

The store manager is the best ! Preston is always sweet and patient to customers, if anything goes wrong with your order, he'll remake it and make sure you leave with a smile. I went into smoothie king and waited 45 minutes just to place my order . Then to be told the acaia machine was frozen . When I left I noticed my smoothie bowls were very watery . Visited the new smoothie king and let me tell ya it's just what city base needs. Delicious healthy smoothies.

This location is very-well placed (in terms of it's proximity to the prominent shopping areas around City Base Landing) and it's in an up and coming shopping center that's still well under construction. That being said, getting to it is a little hard as there's no break in the median to turn into this particular shopping center so you have to turn at the light before or the light after (the light after is where I turned and there's an obstacle course of construction stuff to get over here). The staff was really friendly and even gave me the left over smoothie in a side cup. Be prepared to wait. With just a single car in front of me it took a while to get my drink. I chalked it up to them still getting used to things, but when this shopping center is fully finished out and up and running it's going to get ugly if they don't get more proficient around their efficiency and getting these drink orders out. Maybe the answer is an order-ahead system like Starbucks. read more

Smoothie king in the city base area is great. Don't come here at 8:45-8:50 they won't serve you in the drive thru because it's almost closing time. Won't be back. Customer service goes along way. Customer tried going thru drive thru aswell and let them know they close early. read more

I love that they have placed a Smoothie King in the City Base. My only complaint is that they had customers wait too long in the drive thru during in the morning shift. Sometimes customers are waiting 10 to 15 minutes just to get their order. During one of my visits in the drive thru, the young lady made my smoothie and kept it on the counter having me wait until she finished with other orders. She then came to the window and apologized. My smoothie had gotten a bit warm by that time. I believe they need more people in the morning or a better management of the morning staff. read more
