What a great discovery!! My daughter felt like a smoothie and Tropical Smoothie Cafe was just a short drive away. I had probably seen this business before, but not really paid much attention to it. Well, it has now grabbed my attention! Their smoothies are delicious! I got the Sunrise Sunset (strawberry, pineapple, mango and orange juice). A refreshing blend that hit on all the flavors and was a pleasure on my taste buds. I can see why they names it what they did. My daughter had the Peanut Paradise (peanut butter, banana, non-fat yogurt and choice of protein (soy)). The peanut butter taste to hers was something. I enjoyed as much as a little kid eating a peanut butter sandwich. I can only imagine what the other smoothie flavors taste like. All with fun names and thorough descriptions. This location is really UNPROFESSIONAL. I called the manager Pamela because my UNDERAGE sister was smoking behind the store with one of her ADULT coworkers. She simply stated that she will investigate it and I heard nothing back since. There's been multiple times where I've picked her and she smells like smoke. When coming into a cafe one would think you'll be treated with common human decency, well to my dismay I was incorrect. When walking in yesterday this girl named Sydney gave me a side eye and looked me up and down as if I were a alien? Then when I went to order she talked to me in a condescending voice as if I didn't matter, then when a lighter skinned person came in she had a smile and was energetic, which makes one think was she racist towards me? When I got my order she threw the straw at me and said "HERE". Also when a guy gave me my food he tossed it onto the counter and walked away when I wanted more ranch, and those two people were in back and looked like they wanted to engage in sexual activities. We were in town for a dance competition this weekend. I placed a VERY large order of smoothies & food for 17 of our dance team members. By time I got all of our order details entered in the app the quoted time was later than we needed it (the dancers had a designated lunch time). I called into the store and let them know the circumstance, and despite being short staffed they were able to get our order done and in time! We even had 2 small additional orders of items I forgot on the initial order. They were so amazing and very well organized with our large order!! Not going to lie, I came here because I had a coupon and I'm glad I stopped by. My first order was a chicken pesto flatbread. It was a simple flatbread but very tasty. My girls wanted a beach bum smoothie which has strawberries, banana and chocolate. It was so good. I'm glad I had a coupon because the price is a tad bit high for the amount of food but it was a good meal so I'm not going to complain too much. We were still hungry so we ordered the Cali chicken club which has bacon, avocado, tomatoes, romaine, mozzarella and basil garlic mayo .... much more than our first flatbread.
