Why am I holding a Starbucks for a Smoothie King review you might ask?? Because, SK in Schererville literally locks their bathroom and says it's "NOT for customers" and that we should "go to Starbucks to use the bathroom"! I was in there on Tuesday and the lady who claimed to be a manager was VERY rude about it. Today I went in again and a poor lady was begging just to use it quickly! A CUSTOMER! And they refused, although today they were nicer about it. It is just crazy to me that you'd refuse a perfectly good bathroom to your customers. This SK is right on my way to work but I'm considering just driving the extra miles out to the St. John SK. At least out there all the people treat the customers with respect and provide proper services... Please fix this issue or I'll be going elsewhere. And encouraging all my friends to do the same... This review is for Thursday August 13, 2020 Stop into this location for the 1st time to try them out. Lesson learned always when not sure ask what size is what size. Do not always assume Large is the normal large size as other establishments. My Lady went in and asked for a Large, but their large is like a mega size bigger. I visited this location yesterday by request of my daughter. We were in the area and she loves SK but had never been to this location. After spending $25 plus before tip in two items I asked to use the restroom which to not much of a surprise was told it was not for costumer use. I'm not sure where costumer service went these days but most places it's like respect is not a required quality when hiring and interviewing. Basic morality skills go a long way! I'd suggest the managers and even corporate be a little more selective on your employees. While waiting for our bowl and drink a costumer came in and the young lady taking the order told him they were not taking orders right now and there was about a 10 min wait. I would have walked right out it's not that serious but I think some are just used to the lack of costumer service skills employees have. I definitely don't patronize facilities where I'm not given the respect I offer and in turn deserve let alone tipping for what they're paid to do in the first place. SK, do better! It's a shame costumers have to out up with this after paying that much for a simple smoothie or bowl. Although convenient, at times, and decent in taste, again it's not that serious or anything we all can't make at home. This is a new franchise location and they're killing it here. The young women who are there when I come in are awesome, attentive, and polite -- all while moving with a sense of urgency to keep customers flowing in a timely fashion -- and they're knowledgeable about their smoothies. The smoothies are delicious, as to be expected. HEADS UP THOUGH!! The location kind of sucks, so be mindful when you're coming in. It's in the same plaza as the Starbucks and the parking lot is an actual nightmare. If you park during rush hour, you're at the mercy of all the people lined up behind your car for Starbucks. On busy days when my patience with others isn't its best, that alone is enough to deter me from ordering unless I park at Carrabba's and just walk to Smoothie King (and trust me it'll be faster than waiting to leave a parking spot because of all the nerds behind you). read more

Literally have to order my smoothie 30 mins ahead of time and pray that it will be ready. Don't matter the time or day. Place is terrible! Super rude. They don't call out the names of the orders. Plenty of instances where they've handed the wrong drink out to the wrong party and instead of them making it over, they just hand you that one. HORRIBLE customer service today!!! Team Leader, Laila, if that is her real name, has such a NASTY attitude. This poor service was about 5 PM (Fri, Apr 30th). When asked if a Mgr was there, I was told, "No, but here name is Arrielle".
