Waiter was quick to greet us and start drinks. I ordered Chocolate chip pancakes, a caramel macchiato, and a side of french fries. The pancakes were soft, not too sweet, and the mixed chips complimented it well. (CC Pancakes came with milk chocolate and white chocolate chips, was a stack of 5 pancakes!) Caramel macchiato was good also, I'm not sure if they have an iced option but it was balanced well for the coffee and sugar since I didn't have to add any. I loved Commanders and their lemon rice soup and breakfast. It was weird to come into the same spot with different decor and bright orange neon sign. The service was good as was the food, though the lemon rice soup is not quite the same. The rice was a little more al dente than before. But the place is cute. read more

Just happened to run across this place in my travels and decided to stop and have breakfast didn't know what to expect but the place was clean staff was welcoming and polite service was quick and for me it's the small things so they have to vest coffee cup with there name on it and it was a great experience definitely coming back read more

Finally got a chance to try out the new breakfast place in the neighborhood. Unfortunately it wasn't the best. The service was great. The fresh squeezed OJ was awesome. The biscuits and gravy skillet was not made with biscuits but instead had an English muffin on it. That won't break apart like a biscuit but instead needs to be cut with a knife. Very odd. The eggs Benedict ended up with two hard boiled eggs on top and not enough sauce. The side of pancakes that came with the skillet were good so that rounds out our meal. The place was nicely updated and very bright inside. Maybe it was an off day. Pricing is similar to other places in the area. read more

When you walk in someone is at the door to sit you. This used to be another restaurant. I'm guessing it closed etc. so the furniture and atmosphere is older not sure if they plan to modernize it. I will say customer service is great. Everyone was super nice and attentive. I won't say her name but our waitress didn't know the menu. We ordered poutine and she was unsure of what it was. This has nothing to do with her service because she was super nice just wasn't familiar with the menu. Please don't have people on the floor if they aren't familiar with your menu. They do offer what looks like monthly food specials. The monkey bread came out hot and tasty. I ordered the pumpkin spice latte. I didn't taste and pumpkin. I ordered a side of corn beef hash(canned). It was flavorful but the ratio of green peppers/onions to hash was off. I had a plate full of onions and peppers left on the plate. There was barely hash. My friend order the poutine. We had to send it back because they put onions and green peppers on it and it doesn't come with it.. she requested green onions and they didn't put any on there. They remade it but she got it to go. We waited a while for our meals to come out and by the time they remade it for her she just got it to go. I also had the tres leches French toast. It just needed more of the caramel sauce and it would've been just right. I do intend to go back but I'll give them a few more months because they've only been open for 2 weeks. This morning I was not pleased with my first experience @ your restaurant. My pancakes were not prepared as I ordered. The food was much more highly priced @ this restaurant than other breakfast establishments. There was no one available to handle the cash register when I was ready for check out. Then when a elderly waitress came to do the cash register she didn't fully know what she was doing. Not a good first time experience which leads me to consider not returning. read more

Tried new breakfast spot and was just eh. Cute ambiance, service from Lovie was GREAT but food was sub par. I ordered a sweet potatoe waffle fries skillet on their limited time menu. First, the wrong order came out with diced sweet potatoes and ground meat. Second time it came out with it drenched in the syrup on the bottom which I asked to be on the side. The manager tried to say that it's the way that it's prepared and the menu says that syrup is all mixed in there so they can't do it that way. But I did ask before ordering if it can be separated so idk ‍ they did rectify by giving an order of sweet potatoes waffle fries and took away the drenched soggy fries. Husband ordered chicken and waffles and first order came out cold, second order warmer but he said he wouldn't eat it again. Although chicken was cooked well the batter needed seasoning. Waffle was cooked well also. All in all we tried a new spot, thought just average if that. Lovie, our server was excellent! She tried to ask manager for a discount or take something off but they wouldn't. We will return to Harvest Room and MAYBE come back to try lunch items. read more

***PUBLIC SAFETY WARNING!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!** I hate doing this because I genuinely feel for the employees working here, but this restaurant needs to be temporarily shut down until they resolve their ongoing roach infestation. I would also strongly recommend that, before reopening, they take time to properly train their staff and kitchen team on their menu and food handling standards. I visited during their first week of opening and was served a plate of food with a dying roach on it. I reported this to management, who acknowledged the issue and admitted they were already aware of the roach problem. Not long after, I checked recent reviews on Google and Facebook and discovered multiple complaints about roaches, including one posted as recently as yesterday. I also submitted a complaint directly to Honey Jam and received a shocking response. They admitted they are fully aware of the infestation, yet instead of temporarily closing to address it properly, they stated they would simply "monitor it." This is not acceptable for any restaurant, especially one serving the public. For the safety of customers and the integrity of the business, this issue needs to be taken seriously and resolved before continuing operations. read more

The biscuits were dry and pretty cold, and the food was just sort of bland (enough to satisfy your hunger but lacking flavor or the craving to come back).
