Would give this location zero, if I could. Went there 2x. The first time we were in the drive through line at 7:55. We got to the order speaker at 8:05 and were told they couldn't make a bowl as they closed the line at 8:00. We drove off without ordering. Mind you the store closes at 9:00. We called another site and found that this is not a normal operating practice. We gave the Southfield store another chance and that time they couldn't make bowls because their freezer was broken (supposedly). Again we drove off. We drive a significant distance and love SK. We will drive further to Royal Oak or Livonia to avoid the Southfield location and the sketchy customer service. Your response is lame as I provided a detailed account of my 2 experiences. Also reading other similar reviews, the responses were equally lame. So it's clear you are aware of the issues. How about you tell me and others with similarly bad experiences what YOU are going to do about it? read more

Here for my smoothie fix. This is my kind of dessert. My usual. The lemon ginger spinach of course. It's been at least a week since I last had it too. It's $6.20 for a 20 ounce. I had ordered it through the drive-through. The woman that took my order told me to pull up to the window to pay. She had me pay at the window, but then told me to drive around the front and park. They would bring it out to me, curbside. I thought the whole point of the drive-through window was to pay and receive the smoothie at the window and not curbside? Doesn't make sense. It tastes the way I would expect at least. The drive-through concept needs to a bit of work to get out the kink of requiring guests to park to get your smoothies here. read more

They literally close a hour early everyday and say it's due to low staff and underage staff. Umm excuse me hire adults or make the managers work . It's crazy for me to drive there go in and they so lazy they won't even adjust the hours to indicate to people they are closing before the listed time. I asked the young lady for a peanut power plus and wasn't under the impression that I was getting what I asked for. When I explained to her the complication, it wasn't a big deal and I was willing to just accept my order the way it was prepared.However, her attitude was very nasty and she has a very smart mouth in regards to talking rude to customers. Yum! With the extensive menu, pretty much everyone is guaranteed to find something they like. I know we did! I had the slim & trim strawberry and my friend had a mango kale fitness smoothie. Both were absolutely delicious. And big! These smoothies aren't cheap, but you do get good value for the money. We ordered mediums - they were 32 oz! I swear it's lucky we didn't order large or they wouldn't have fit in our cup holders. I think you can go inside, but we used the drive-thru window 'cause - Covid! Quality of customer service is poor. It doesn't make sense that this location is drive thru only. It kills the convenience of pre ordering. I didn't appreciate waiting 15 minutes in line for an item I already paid for! Once I ordered thru the app and the store employees closed early mid day. I have never been to smoothie king before. I was craving something sweet and figured I'd try it out. I pulled into the drive way and was surprised a smoothie shop had a drive through. So I pull around in the drive through to the menu. I am instantly overwhelmed with all of the healthy options. I did not expect it to be fitness centered. Me being a fitness buff I felt like I was at the right place. I settled on the immune mixed berry. It was reasonably priced and it did not take long at all to make. I enjoyed my ride home with a delicious healthy smoothie. I was surprised with the texture being more pasty than watered. It felt like a perfect mix of ice and berry. And of course it was delicious with all of the different fruits in there. I am definitely going again. read more

I was so excited to try out smoothie king as I pass it on my daily commute. Sadly, my first experience on 10/20/20 around 7pm was not the best. I ordered my smoothie through the drive thru and simply asked for clarification on the size cups and a female employee that took my order was extremely rude and unprofessional. I expressed that it was my first time there so just needed clarity on the ounces. Anyway, the smoothie was pretty good just need to work on customer service and professionalism. read more

I am always a hot mess when I try to order. There's so much to choose from! But they always answer my questions EVERY TIME. Today was no exception. Day 2 of trying to receive my smoothie. First day I ordered through app the lobby wasn't open. I called the store for a refund and the associate advised me to use the drive thru to retrieve the order. Well I didn't have time, two cars were already waiting and the day before I spent almost 15 mins in the drive thru. I placed my order in the app to save time by doing a grab and go. I asked her for a refund she told me to use the app. I asked for a manager, she said no manager was in store and he wouldn't be in all day. Next day I was able to speak to Nick the manager. He assured me that he would leave a note for today. Needless to say I arrive at Smoothie King this morning and there isn't a note. The associate nonchalantly makes me a small smoothie and tells me this is all she could give since my name wasn't written down. I give up at this point. Smoothies are good, customer service is not! I'll have to drive a little further to Beyond Juice. Wasting gas and time is not worth it. It's really disappointing since this is like 5 mins from my house. read more
