The last I went in for lunch with a friend i placed a take away order and was given old bread that they had to change because i complained .. yesterday i ordered 3 dozens of falafel for a house party over the phone for pick ip today, i specifically asked the question of how many wood oven bread comes with the order, the person who took the order put me on hold to ask her manager. I was promised 24 pieces of bread. I asked for fresh warm bread and was told for sure. My husband picks up the order today, only 8 pieces of cold bread. And when I called to complain, the person who took my call was arguing and claimed she is new and she asked him when i placed the order and he claimed he never told her to say 24 pieces.. He said thats all we get, 8 pieces of bread for 3 dozens of falafel..He was so rude and didnt even offer any compromise!!!! This restaurant lost really good customers..NEVER again..we will go somewhere else for our weekly shawarma or falafel sandwiches.

Huge turnout and I don't have to cook Friday nights. A safe covid activity. This truck brought it. Good apps of crab Rangoon and eggrolls. Both crispy and nice, mine and my husbands preference is Rangoon but my parents liked the egg rolls so its a push. The clear entree winner was the Thai beef. This was so damn tender it melted in your mouth. Super saucy it made the white rice and veggies so much more fun. The veggies were cooked perfectly and were super fresh. Generous portion too. Well worth the money spent. The general tao chicken was very good. Again really saucy. Not as hot as I like it but my husband ordered it and spice level was perfect for him. The honey sesame chicken was also tasty. Its great if you are a fan of sweet. I found it quite nice to sample but wouldn't be able to eat a whole meal of it personally as it's not my style. I'm more of a savory entree girl. This place even had desert. Decadent chocolate cream cheese brownies. Not cheap but no damn regrets. So freaking amazing.

The crab Rangoon were a dollar each. You know that you don't get much crab in most crab Rangoon these days, so the fact that there wasn't a lot of crab was not a surprise. However kudos to the fry cook. They were perfectly done. Even though I got carry out, because of course it is a food truck, they were still crispy when I got home but not overcooked. It came with the standard packaged sauce.. The honey sesame chicken was a value at $10:99. There was white rice underneath but you can't see in my picture and a small side of of vegetables. The vegetables were crispy and not overcooked. There was broccoli. snow peas, carrots and onions. There was a lot of chicken. It was not the most moist chicken I've ever had but it was good. I would say overall they did a really good job. The staff told me they have two restaurants in the Detroit area: one at five and Middlebelt and the other further north. They are not called by the same name as the food truck and so unfortunately I'm not a good source of information on what the name of the restaurants are. My problem with this is that I do not love going to establishments that serve food and drink but refuse to let you wash your hands before consuming their products. This seems counterintuitive for a restaurant. I am not even sure they had sanitizer out. While I always carry my own this goes against food safely and consumption. It is not like we are not paying customers, I spend almost $30 on three drinks only to be told to use a porta-potty on the street!

Didn't appear to be an active operation, but a kind gentlemen appeared. He greeted me in Arabic (which I do not speak) and then noticing my confusion said hello in English. I ordered a falafel sandwich ($6.99) and he said it would be five minutes (and I would say he was accurate on the timing). He offered me a small cup of coffee while I waited. They fried my falafel to order and once the falafel were out of the fryer, he realized he had made one too many for my sandwich so he handed the extra falafel to me. The sandwich was pretty good - I would eat it again. I also picked up a pack of small pitas which appeared to be freshly baked for $3 - great value! The store has a vast selection of middle eastern foods (grape leaves, labneh, too many kinds of tahini to count, an olive bar, etc.) While the gentlemen serving me was very kind, I did feel like a bit of an outsider - seemed like most of the customers were known to the staff and spoke Arabic.

Dear reader, they had kept it locked in the cash drawer for a month waiting for us to return. I actually cried when they told us they had it. 10/10. Their staff are not only kind and efficient but wonderfully honest, decent people. I picked it up the next day, and it was in perfect condition.
