We were walking downtown St. George street to head back to our BNB. Ernie and I saw this cute little hole in the wall. We did a u-turn and went inside. The sweet young lady working seemed to know some of the Customers on a first name basis. She was working very hard(solo). We wanted to get a pretzel, but she warned us it would be about 7-8 for her to cook the pretzel. We told her that would be fine. So, I ran to the bathroom to wash my hands and then came back. Shortly after, we went back inside to see if it was ready, it was. We had it bagged up "for to go". We took it back to our BNB place to enjoy the pretzel. Here's why they get minus two stars. It was so skinny and small! I thought it was a joke. But, while I was in the restroom washing up, the lady told Ernie, "I tried to find the biggest one in the bunch". So, it's out of her control. I blame this on the Owner, who ever he or she might be. If you're going to charge $5.00 or more for a pretzel, serve a decent one please! I will come back, but not for a pretzel. Maybe for a cup of hot java or another drink. Pros:excellent employee, plenty of shade and tables and chairs to sit down at. Cons: a pretzel that is microscopic. read more

Dream Boat Coffee is a sweet little spot to relax and enjoy. The flavor choices are fun and tasty. I tried the Dreamer and my friend had the Disco Kid. We both LOVED our coffees. The place is small, really just a walk up counter. It has charm and personality though. The vintage telephone is a definite indication of their quirky fun attitude. The person who assisted us was super nice. She chatted with us and told us about her college studies. I really enjoy being assisted by someone who is personable. The outdoor courtyard really completes the whole vibe. What a great place to relax and enjoy your coffee while people watching. The plants and decor made me feel like I was in someone's back yard. Loved it and will certainly return for a lovely coffee the next time I'm in town. read more

I have been coming to Dream Boat Coffee for awhile now and have yet to be disappointed. I always get the sweet cream cold brew or just a regular cold brew which taste good everytime. Their employees are always friendly and helpful if I have any questions. I went there today and noticed the sign had changed to Snack Shack Dream Boat Coffee. They are now not only serving coffee but a bunch of different hot dogs. They looked amazing with different varieties like a Chicago dog on a poppy seed bun to your typical New York dog. Gonna have to make a trip back to try that out next time. read more

How do you celebrate National Coffee day? You order a large iced Cold Brew while taking in the gorgeous Spanish architecture (hot stroll) in downtown St. Augustine minus the butt cheeks I saw hanging (Is this still a trend? lol). I originally wanted a Nitro Cold Brew, but disappointed that they were already out by early afternoon. I had to mix in my own simple syrup (Does this make me sound spoiled? lol) & creamer at a self serve bar for my Cold Brew 'cause barista was too busy...I always prefer they do it 'cause it's part of the experience and my coffee always taste better, you know? The coffee wasn't cheap - around $9 w/tip and a bottle of water (pricey). They have a cute outdoorsy area with a wood bench & hanging plants that I really loved. read more

I love the plant-filled outdoor seating area and the cute mugs, ceramics, and notebooks they have for sale in their shop. They offer their cold brew as nitro, which is a huge plus. They didn't bat an eye at my request to have it put in my reusable mug, which was great, and they also gave me a discount for working locally. The nitro itself was pretty dang good. Only dinging a star because even with the discount, it was pretty pricey, and when you walk inside you can see all of the "back" of the shop. I understand they have a small space and dressed it up as best they could, but the exposed kitchen gear and work space didn't really flow with the rest of the cafe. read more

My husband, cousin and I stopped here last night for dinner and it was amazing! Literally the best ham and cheese melt I have ever had, hands down. The man who cooked our sandwiches was super nice and accommodating. I'm pregnant and have to be cautious with deli meats. They cooked the ham on the side to make sure it was safe for me to eat without me having to ask! I thought that was super thoughtful and I greatly appreciated them taking the time to do that for me. My boyfriend and I call it Nightmare boat. His first time in St. Augustine. I'm embarrassed for taking him to the most popular shopping place and had such horrid coffee experience ever. I travel a lot, and it's rare I give a 1 star to anyone overall. For one of the most hot traveling spot location in town, you expect something decent and better than Mc Donald's. Everyone else coffee in town was decent that I tried like 2-3 spots while I was visiting. Watered down!! No flavor. I had them remake mine. My boyfriend wants to create a yelp account just to warn people also. So be warn again lol. This coffee place not worth even trying if it's 25 cents. I told my boyfriend to remake his, but he was so upset and threw it away around the corner. We order their suggested drink on the most popular drink people order on the board called some dreamers. Another one I forgot what it's called and it's mocha added to it. Mine was suppose to be similar to ice vanilla latte. Have you notice it's only about 9 reviews and majority are girls. We only dropped by because its a regular walking spot. Must read reviews who has about 30 reviews and visit if it has at least 4 star. My regret not reading such low count reviewers. I can go on but I'm tired and customer service was poor. I struggled to finish mine and threw it a way after 10sips bc we paid Starbucks cost for it. So we ended up throwing away all three drinks.
