Really disappointed. I ordered a soft serve Irish cream with sprinkles -- when they realized they'd forgotten the sprinkles, their fix was to dip the entire cup in sprinkles while the ice cream was already melting. I ended up with sprinkles falling off the sides and barely any actually on the ice cream. My partner's order was even worse. She asked for a to-go mint chip with layered Oreos -- a standard item that usually with a clear lid and a generous layer of Oreos on top. Instead, the staff scooped off a large portion of the ice cream to make the flat lid fit, handed it over with the cup only about 2/3 full, and there was almost no Oreo topping to speak of. I get that mistakes happen, but the fixes made both orders worse than if they'd just started over. We paid full price for noticeably less food and a frustrating experience. Won't be back. read more

My husband and I are addicted to their rainbow Italian ice!!! They offer so many different frozen goodies here -- along with hot dogs and some other hot items. I also like their sugar-free selections/yogurt/ice cream. They offer so many different flavors. They have a nice pavilion area with picnic tables to enjoy your treats. I ordered 2 small cones, vanilla and chocolate with rainbow sprinkles for my kids. I asked that the cones be placed in a cup. On the way home, my kids called it gross and I could not understand why. Long story short, we get home and there must be 2 inches of sprinkles in the cup. Way too many sprinkles! Literally just a pile of sprinkles and hardly any ice cream. Ok we went to this place probably 100 times last summer.. last night changed my mind.. I ordered 2 infused ice creams on cones and a child in a cup Got 1 hard with sprinkles in a cup.... It got put in a freezer in the back more than likely to be resold. Was supposed to be in a cone Got another soft infused in a cup should have been in a cone... I watched the girl scoop the ice cream out in the garbage and just stare at the sprinkles left in the container ... she looked at the garbage can than at me and then walked away without throwing it away... what did she do with it? Put it back in the sprinkle container??? Mine was supposed to be in a cone I got it in a cup and wasn't having them make it a 3rd time... we WILL NOT be going back there.. something changed from last year to this year. Hello all! Welcome back and HAPPY SUMMER to all you youngsters out there! Today was a goregous day outside in beautyful NEPA... coincidentally, it was also my niece's last day of her freshman year of college... you all know what that means... ICE CREAM! I wanted to spoil her little butt rotten because she is sp precious and deserves it. My parents never bought me ice cream. We found our cute lil selves in Wilkes Barre and my niece (she's taken fellas sorry, although she is cute like her aunty) said she had heard this joint was good from her pals. So we take a cruise in my 2007 Hyundai Elantra with the windows down and Luke Bryan on the stereo down to the good ol SNACK SHACK. Ladies, and gents, a shack fulla snack this is. They had many many many many choices here from soft serve, to frozen yougutrt and the sundaes! Just an absolutely fabulous menu. How ver, I am an old fart and I get the same thing everywhere so i got a tasty cookie dough flurry. (There is a picture everyone,, don't worry!!! I'm getting better at this!) My niece got the "double" scoops (Two scoops of two flavors people!) in an oreo cone. The oreo cone was a lil stinker and I did not care for the loyd placement of the joint but overall a successful day for two beautiful independent ladies. Friends! I recommend you try this place. They have a lot of hard and soft flavors to choose from. I got salted caramel (hard)and my husband got soft serve apple pie. Both were good and reasonably priced. They are open late. 10-10:30 on most nights. They also have fried foods as well. Sitting area outside only and parking is limited. read more

I've been here way too many times already this spring! I love the skinny flavors (which I believe are fat-free, no sugar added frozen yogurts) in the soft serve. The baby size is actually pretty decent for an adult that isn't ravenously hungry for ice cream. My husband insists on the large, or he'll choose a sundae. I love the wide variety of options. My toddler loves the blueberry. You CANNOT BEAT THE PRICES!! But bring your cash. And tip the nice ladies scooping your treats. :) I love that there is ample outdoor seating and a great location for parking. read more

Prices are decent. Sundae was super small. Italian ice had no flavor. Girls write down orders on notepad which makes mistakes more likely to happen. Probably will just go to Dairy Queen next time. Nothing special here. read more

The ice cream is good... My first time I got lucky and already had cash on me... the 2nd time was passing by, didn't and was disappointed.... It's not my business but I assumed since its 2016, nearing 2017 every business would be able to afford to process card credits, if not it would simply reflect into the pricing as all businesses do, add the cost of running the business into the pricing. But its worse than that, the employees have to write down orders on a note book with a pen... literally felt like it was not just 1995 but 1985! I don't discriminate or anything but I am already assuming the owner's age may not be in a millennial generation where convenience, especially to payment processing, would generate more than enough business to cover the 2.75-3.5% of the sale. I mean seriously, even the vast majority of freelancers out there have these mobile card chargers from their smartphones. Look up "Square Up". Evolve with technology, don't fight it or else someone else down the road may open up the same ice cream shop but modernized. read more
