I've had animals all of my life and I've taken them to various groomers ranging from Georgetown to Lexington to Richmond and I've never been happier with a facility than I am with this place. I will never bring my pup anywhere else! To Abby J. below: There are leash laws in Lexington and I'm glad they said something to you because if I witnessed you with your dog off of a leash (whether people were in the parking lot or not) I would have said something to you as well! It takes only one time and one second for your dog to attack someone else or to run out into the road and end up injured or dead. If you're too lazy to leash your dog for 5 seconds, you're too lazy to own a dog. I also find it hard to believe they had an attitude with you over the time you would arrive to pick up your dog. I work in Georgetown and have, many times, called them to apologize and say that with traffic and the time I get off work, that I wouldn't be there until right at 6pm and they were perfectly fine with that. However, I also chose to give them more than a 15 minutes notice because I'm not rude. ;) I would venture to guess that it's likely your behavior and attitude that resulted in a poor customer experience because I've never once had a single hint of unprofessional-ism from either of the owners. You knew well before 5:45pm that you wouldn't arrive until close to 6pm and the fact that you had to take New Circle during rush hour didn't cross your mind at all or factor into the time you gave? Lol It sounds like you were the problem in this situation.

She's not only knowledgeable but extremely patient with my dog and myself as well. She truly has a way with animals and just entirely speaks their language. At no point in time did I feel hopeless for my stubborn basset after Kelly came into our life. Bassets are known to be difficult to train but Kelly's technique was just unremarkable. Kelly also send a personalized recap of how our sessions go together specifically on what we worked on that day. Makes it extremely convenient because it's a lot to absorb.

She said "She doesn't like my attitude" and taking your animals out the room to a basement is "just how they do things there." No explanations or nothing on what they are doing or nothing. Then she took us and the dog outside and trained us on how to train him. We really enjoyed watching her work with our pup. The tips/tricks and ideas she shared made me feel like we can get a handle on the new puppy drama. Basic commands, what to look for, what not to do. I highly recommend if you get a puppy and are new to puppies, give her a call and get the two hour in home puppy sessions. She visits twice, each for an hour at your home without the distractions of other dogs and or setting. We will take her puppy training six week course that will start again in the near future.

She apparently only handles preventative care like vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries and mole removals.
