I also did drop in many Crossfit members in cities where I've been for work or vacation. I just started going to CrossFit Central Houston but I can already say this is in my top 3 for sure! Coaches Grace, Emily and Matt are great, you can tell they follow a consistent and similar style which tells a lot about the quality of the box. They will fix your posture and your movements like a good coach should. The gym itself is super large, there is plenty of space for everyone, even when the class is full. The showers are the best gym showers I've ever used, with clean towels everyday, its great to workout in the morning and go straight to work. The schedule is also great, with plenty of opportunities to fit your schedule. All members are super nice and kind. I would give more stars if I could.

I was good with that for such a basic gym and sometimes overcrowded especially in summer when they allow kids to use it for free However this time in July when my contract expired I tried to renew it and I was told this no longer is available and plus they are increasing the rates to $15 a month. Talk about being loyal to their customers. Oh well their loss. EOS and Crunch fitness are both offering 9.99 monthly fees with no annual fees. PF don't let success get to your head. I have been trying to do…read morethe circuit and I have had to ask people to move off of machines because I get to that machine and they are camped out on it. I try to be nice and most of the time they get up. I still HATE having to do this! Today twice I encountered ladies who refused to move. I asked for help from management the first time and they came and explained the circuit to her and she eventually moved. Still, it ate up several minutes of my workout time. Then a few minutes later I encountered the same situation with another lady. This woman accused me of being entitled and said I was picking on her because I didn't think she could speak English. I tried to explain the way the circuit worked , but she just told me that she pays for her membership just like I do and can do what she wants to do. I really did NOT want to run and tattle again. She finally finished and left. At that point had to leave because my time was up even though I didn't even get halfway through the circuit. I am seriously rethinking this membership at this point. I wish you could get an activation card for circuit machines and each machine would only work for one minute and after using a machine for that minute it would deactivate and not be able to be used again. Or have an employee that stays in that area monitoring it. I can see slipping in and using a machine that isn't being used, but if someone is actually doing the circuit you need to move when they get to a machine that you' ve slipped in to use. I already went to the desk the first time. It didn't really do any good. The culture of the gym is such that no one cares about circuit training. The only way to change that culture is to enforce policy. I shouldn't have to constantly wine about the problem in order to get a stated policy enforced. Based on reviews such as this management will respond if they care.
