The wood fired crust was perfectly chewy, and I love that they use flour from Italy to make it. I definitely understand why the reviews for this place are so high. And it was packed on a Wednesday at lunch.

The smell hits you the second you walk through the door, you can see the huge brick oven right there in the kitchen, and immediately you know something good is coming. We grabbed a table outside on the patio, which was perfect for the evening. It's a really nice, relaxed space to sit outside, enjoy some pizza, and hang out. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, served with toasted bread and plenty of shaved Parmesan. Great appetizer while we waited for the main event. Then came our large pepperoni pizza, and it was fantastic! The combination of shredded mozzarella with those chunks of fresh mozzarella, plenty of pepperoni, flavorful sauce, and that brick-oven crust made every bite delicious. The crust had a fantastic crispness while still having a nice chew and tons of flavor. I've had their pizza well done before, which gives the crust even more of that wonderful char from the brick oven, and next time I'm definitely requesting it that way again. That extra char takes an already great pizza up another notch for me. One thing to keep in mind: this isn't fast-food pizza. It's a more gourmet, freshly prepared brick-oven pizza, so it can take a little longer to hit the table...and it is absolutely worth the wait!
