Wow! Stopped in tonight on a whim since my last experience was so good. I dined in this time and was greeted by Mary, one of the owners. She is precious absolutely love her! The inside is so cute and gives a very intimate trattoria feel. Decided to go for a more traditional meal tonight and had the Baked Spaghetti and Meatballs. It came with a generous tossed salad and your choice of garlic bread or breadsticks. I chose the breadsticks since they are house made. I'm thoroughly pleased with my choices. I had to make myself stop eating it was so good. Literally the only thing that would have made this better was fresh grated cheese because I love cheese on cheesy.

Ordered: medium pepperoni deep dish We came with a large group and the staff were very accommodating and provided great service. We came for lunch on a Saturday and waited about 30 minutes for our pizza. The pizza came out hot although I wish it was crispier. Everything was pretty well seasoned. I'm not a fan of deep dish pizza but I'm glad I was able to try it.

Article I found when I searched How much can a bad review affect your business?

I have been there several times and enjoyed it. Today I took my wife for lunch. As you can see on the check she ordered a Cappicola Hoagie with light dressing. When it came out she took one bite and hated it. Not only did she not like the flavor but it was soaking in dressing. We called our server over and told her. She offered to remake the sandwich. I asked about getting my wife something else. The answer was sure but I can't take the sandwich off the bill. So we can remake a sandwich she hates but can't get something else unless we pay for it? The server came back and said the owner agreed to take off half. This is the absolute first time I have ever been told I have to pay for horrible food that I didn't eat. They have no parking so you have to pay for that. Their prices are not cheap. The food is ok. Not the best pizza I've ever had. Bottom line you lost a customer and got a bad review over $6.00. Great business model. Perhaps you should read the attached information I found when searching How much can a bad review potentially cost your business? Was it worth $6.00 you took from me? The only positive was the server was good and polite. I could have taken the sandwich out of her tip but poor ownership/management isn't her fault. ........ I saw the review response on another site and I contacted the store to discuss the situation. The lady who answered the phone was nice and ask me to hold. I waited for 9 1/2 minutes listening to the noise in the background and the phone being moved around. I hung up and called back and the manager answered. I explained that I was calling back and was left on hold. No apology just that she got busy. I then told her I was calling because the response to my review suggested it. She said the response was automated and not from them. We talked about the situation with the sandwich. She said they offered to remake it and my wife refused. That they could have left the dressing off. I told her my wife didn't care for the sandwich itself or the dressing. That making over would not have helped. Why remake a sandwich she didn't like the flavor of? She was very defensive and never once apologized trying to argue with me about the quality of her sandwich. She questioned what kind of restaurants we frequent. Chains, small mom and pop places or what? I tried to explain to her that I have never been anywhere that made you pay for food you didn't like. Be it a fast food place to a 5 Star restaurant. She said that they make that sandwich several times a day and it's a good sandwich. That they can't afford to just give away money because someone doesn't like it. Very rude and defensive never once offering any kind of apology. The only positive thing to the visit was the server. She was nice and polite. She made the best of the situation despite being in the middle. I left her a 20% tip for her service not the restaurant's. In case the business owner can't figure it out. You obviously need the $6.00 more than I do. I could care less about the money. It's the principle and how you treat people that matters.

Delicious!! Some of the best deep dish pizza I have ever had. I went with my dad who is a pizza fanatic and he agreed. The wait time for the deep dish pizza was 50 minutes so if you don't have carved out time, I recommend ordering something else! It was worth the wait though. The restaurant is vibe and a great place to hang with friends or watch a football game on TV. I will be back!

I came a few minutes after they open. I was seated right away and was given enough time to choose what I wanted to eat. They had all types of pizza styles from Hawaiian to Chicago style deep dish. The place was clean and very well lit. I did not go to the restroom so I am not sure how those looked. Over all everything was great, food service and location!

My husband and I barely get time to go out alone so today when we finally did we wanted to try something new. Bourbon house was his choice because we sampled the pizza while at Best of NKY. This pizza does not disappoint! It's so good. We were there as soon as they opened (actually a few minutes early) and we were welcomed right in. Our server was very fast and answered all of our questions. We sat at a booth but the bar area even looked like it would be a nice place to come and have a slice. I got a house salad, we shared some garlic knots and we got a large half and half deep dish pizza (one half was bbq chicken and the other was 3 meats). The food was great and we will for sure be coming back again!!

We are so happy that we gave them another try, and our second visit was fantastic- it's clear they have been working on service and have worked through a lot of the " we just opened" snags we experienced the first time. A few high lights- Our second visit, we sat in Dining room B- it is quiet and the tables are more spaced out than in dining room A- B Will definitely always be our preference. Our server was Christina and she was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. James interacted with us as well, and he also knew his stuff and was eager to help make our experience memorable. The hosts and serving assistants and manager were all very friendly and helpful as well! Last but certainly not least- the food Our favorite dish was the Linguini All Genovese- it was so different than anything we have had and it was so good, my mouth is still watering thinking about it! We finished the evening with the seasonal Crème Brûlée which was cinnamon Toast crunch flavored and it was soo good! Give this place a try, you won't regret it !

Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to our expectations. When we arrived, we waited in the lounge for our table and immediately noticed how warm and stuffy it was inside. Even the hostesses were fanning themselves, and they were standing near the door where at least some air circulated. We were seated in a quieter section, which we appreciated, but the tables were placed so close together that it was difficult to get in and out without disturbing other guests. The chairs were comfortable, though. Our waitress was friendly and explained the specials. We ordered cocktails, which arrived quickly and were very good. When she returned to take our appetizer order, she asked if we planned to have salads. We specifically asked whether the salads would come out after the appetizers, and she assured us they would be timed appropriately. My husband ordered a salad, and when I asked whether it was large enough to share, she said yes--so we decided to split one. She then asked if we wanted to place our dinner order as well, and since we already knew what we wanted, we went ahead and gave her our full order: appetizers, salad, and entrées. A few minutes later, the bread service arrived--along with the salad, but without the arancini. This was exactly what we were trying to avoid, but we didn't say anything. The salad was fine but not particularly memorable, and the croutons were so hard they couldn't be cut with a fork. About halfway through the salad, the arancini finally arrived--and they ended up being the highlight of the entire evening. The bread service was okay but very dense and filling; it's something I'd only order again if we were with a larger group. Our entrées came out in a timely manner. I had the Linguini All Genovese, and my husband had the Orreccetta. Both portions were extremely large--easily shareable, though that wasn't mentioned. My linguini was decent: the shaved ribeye was tender, and the pasta was cooked well. My husband's dish, however, was very bland. The sauce tasted like pureed broccoli, and although it was supposed to include sausage, it was hard to find any. Both dishes lacked seasoning, especially garlic, which was disappointing for an Italian restaurant. After our entrées arrived, our waitress became noticeably less attentive. We waited quite a while before she returned to offer boxes and ask about dessert. We ordered the special: lemon-lime honey gelato served over cornbread, along with coffees. A few minutes later, she brought out only the gelato and apologized, saying they were out of cornbread. She hadn't come back beforehand to let us know or ask if we wanted to choose something else. It felt like she set the plate down, apologized, and rushed off before we could respond. We were surprised to see that the full dessert price was still on the bill, despite receiving only part of it. Our coffees arrived after we had already finished the gelato and were lukewarm at best. By the end of the meal, we felt rushed, likely because the restaurant was getting ready to close. For the amount we spent--over $200 before tip--the only standout was the $22 arancini. We really wanted to love this place, but overall, the experience was subpar. There are several other Italian restaurants in Covington that offer much better food and service.
