I have been enjoying coming here for pizza. There isn't a bunch of good pizza places around here. They have been doing a decent job compared to others. I usually get the thin crust large pizza with sausage or sausage and jalapeños. It isn't like larosas thin crust where it's like paper. So if you haven't been here i recommend trying them out. They have a small eating area but have a beer garden in the summer time. read more

It has been over a year since we've ordered food from this restaurant and I honestly see why. The food is not as good as it use to be. My fries arrived dry and burnt and the new mozzarella bites arrived way too dark. The Food was fried in old oil. And they need to update their menu to inform the customers of the change to their new mozzarella bites. We were expecting mozzarella sticks and NOT charred bites. Save your money. read more

My family loves Papa Dino's. Let's get it straight though: this is not fancy pizza. This is greasy, cheesy take the kids out to dinner pizza. We stick with the basics of pepperoni pizza and cheese breadsticks when we order and we've never been let down (see photo, which I couldn't take before my family started grabbing pieces). I haven't eaten inside yet, but I love the look. It's old school, a little dark, with checked table cloths and a vintage look that comes from them being in business nearly 70 years. In my travels I'm searching for the genuine NY style Italian pizza. I REALLY wanted to like this pizza but it just didn't live up to my expectations. First of all, the building has seen better days. It's dark and musty inside. A plant had "peed" all over the entry way where they had watered it. Second, the staff was very curt. Not sure if they knew I was an outsider, but I surely didn't feel welcome here. Now for the pizza. It was ALMOST right. Unfortunately, it was just off enough in the wrong area that I won't try it again. One thing this pizza had going for it was that it was cooked perfectly. The bottom was nice and crisp with a few almost burnt spots just as it should be. Problem one was that there was way too much cheese on it. So much in fact that it was hard to eat. I could have overlooked that though if it weren't for the fatal flaw. The bottom crust had the texture and taste of a gluten free pizza. The cornicione (or edge crust) had no air pockets. Now I'm no pizza expert but this would indicate to me that the ingredients were not in the right proportions, the dough hadn't been needed enough or it had not sat long enough. These are all reasons that gluten doesn't build up causing the issues I mentioned. So, another missed opportunity to find the NY style I so desperately crave. ‍ read more

My husband and I were running around Florence this evening and decided to try this place for carry out. I was immediately impressed with the customer service on the phone and our order was ready in 20 minutes. We tried an order of a dozen hot chicken wings, Bavarian pretzels with cheese, and a medium meat lovers' pizza. The sauce on the pizza had great flavor, the crust wasn't floppy or greasy, and it was loaded with toppings. The cheese dip that came with the pretzels had a nice kick to it and the wing sauce was hot, but flavorful. But I figured, long wait=better pizza. Sadly, when I picked it up and opened the box, it didn't look like it was worth the wait. It reminded me of school cafeteria pizza. I've seen Hot 'N Ready's look more appetizing. Then when I picked up a slice or took a bite, the cheese completely separated from the rest of it.
