    Seasonal Harvest Salad (sans bacon)
    Lee D.

After a LONG day of driving, we were looking for a place to eat that wasn't McDonalds or Subway. We did not know Dewey's was a chain as we are not local but we were very pleased with our selection. We arrived around 4:45 and had our choice of tables but by 5, the restaurant, while not overly large, was full! Hubby ordered the side Caesar and I ordered the seasonal Harvest salad without the bacon. Both were very good and a generous size. Each salad also has an entree size. Several different sizes of pizza, and many are very creative combinations. Hubby had the Bronx Bomber with onion, green peppers, pepperoni, sausage, and black olives. I had the Edgar Allen Poe (olive oil, whole roasted garlic and Kalamata olives, mozzarella, fontina, and goat cheese finished with tomatoes and parsley after coming out of the oven) It also has mushrooms but I ordered without. We both ordered the 11" size and took three of the eight small slices to go. We were talked into the Opera cream torte which was good but not standout. Service was friendly and efficient; we were in and out in an hour and back on the road. The restaurant was clean and festively decorated for the holidays. Not cheap but a good dinner with leftovers.

Cuban Pizza and Meatball! Was so excited I forgot to take a picture when it first came!!

We love Dewey's , but this location is our favorite one!! Great customer service!! We decided to have their pizza kits for Christmas dinner! It was a hit!! We ordered the crust to already be tossed so it was easy! Bronx Bomber, Edgar Allen Poe, pepperoni and sausage pizza kits were perfect!! The easiest part was putting them together because they packaged everything great!! Add the Peppercorn Ranch salad and we were SET!!

Ordered during a slower time for a carry out. My order was ready when they said it would be and I had very nice and friendly waitress who helped check me out. Pizza was nice and fresh even when I got home. Restaurant looked clean inside and out.

    Southwest bbq chicken pizza
    Hayley M.

We ordered Dewey's white pizza, meatball, and southwest bbq pizza. The pizzas looked amazing but the taste was underwhelming. The white pizza was bland. The meatballs themselves were tasty, but the pizza itself needed more cheese. The southwest bbq chicken pizza was good. I was really excited to try Dewey's, but it just wasn't great, and it was pricey.

Because it is so exxxxxxpensive, this is not a restaurant you casually dine at. But since it was my sister's Bachelorette weekend, my group of 7 treated the bride-to-be to a luxurious dinner here in May 2026. And she had a wonderful experience! The interior is gorgeous, elegant, and smells amazing. The staff is professional and runs with the efficiency of a Michellen-starred restaurant. I always enjoy watching a staff of 7 deliver the table their food like they are performing a choreographed dance. I ordered the cheapest drink on the menu - a yummy local beer from MadTree for $7. The others had much more expensive cocktails that were $20+. You won't have to worry - while their food menu is small and selective, the drink menu is HUGE. They surprised us with glasses of in honor of my sister's upcoming nuptials. That was a lovely treat! I kept to being a cheap-o and ordered the $18 "Arpege" salad as my main. It didn't have any meat but it had a lot of cheese! Yum! Others ordered more substantial mains like the scallops, the beef tartare, the halibut, etc. All were plated beautifully. I had a bite of the bolognese, and while a small portion, it was superb. You do have to pay for bread service but it is unlimited refills so on $8, the 7 of us went through 6 loaves of bread and 6 trays of delicious salted butter. I personally probably had 2 loaves on my own. My god, it was the best thing I ate the entire trip! After we ate our mains, we then ordered a variety of desserts. Most of us got ice cream (get the strawberry!!). My sister and another girl got the famous "candy bar" dessert and the cheesecake. I had a bite of the candy bar and for $15, it was the most dense candy bar ever! Sooooo much chocolate! I'll end here but with tax and tip, we paid about $630ish. My portion was $51, by far the lowest of the group. I got out relatively cheaply because I filled up on bread but feel free to treat yourself and indulge a bit more!

Everybody, each member of the staff was fantastic. The pomme soufflés are out of this world. They are such a treat. We always love their Hamachi, specially, when they have it with the grapefruit and slivers of jalapeños. Right now they have a truffle Hamachi, which was really fabulous as well. Their foie gras torchon is also exceptional. We cannot wait for them to bring back the cod in buerre Blanc sauce. But last night we opted for the hamburger, which is quite the treat there. If you are a bourbon drinker, you should try their buffalo trace single barrel right now. My husband thought it was more delicious than most other buffalo trace, more of a cherry and vanilla hint. Anyway, we had a perfect night.

They were serving parties of different sizes indoors and out on a patio area. I had an impossible burger and fries which were both really good. They had good iced tea, too. The highlight of the whole experience for me, though, was my server Lanay. She was delightful. She was engaging, welcoming, and personable throughout. She was patient and easygoing, but she also had a lot of feedback and advice on the menu options. She checked on me regularly throughout my leisurely meal without ever making me feel rushed. I thoroughly enjoyed our interactions throughout the evening. She was a really excellent server and I hope the restaurant knows it. When I'm in that area again, this will make my list of options.

I don't get to Cincy very often, but I was in town for work and this happened to be the closest bar/restaurant near us downtown that looked decent. Safe to say I got very lucky. The first time I went, I ordered the chili as a starter and a chicken tender platter. And when I tell you I was so happy with both -- I mean it. I love a good chili. I grew up eating it with my grandma, and this one tasted like something she would have made. The cheese and sour cream were perfect. I'm not a huge onion guy, but even those worked well with it. Now here's the catch... it was so good that I literally went back and ordered the exact same thing again. And somehow it was even better the second time. They really outdid themselves on both dishes. One thing I noticed the second time around: I asked for three sauces right away, and they brought them out on a plate with a built-in sauce area. It was actually really convenient -- perfect if you're sharing with people. Now let's talk about the tenders. I'll start by saying I know fried chicken pretty well. Pound for pound, these might honestly be the best chicken tenders in America. The easiest comparison I can give is this: imagine if Cane's and Zaxby's had a kid and named him perfection. That's what these are. Sometimes Cane's can be a little light on seasoning, and sometimes Zaxby's goes a little heavy. These are perfectly in the middle with a great crunch and just the right amount of seasoning. Another thing I really liked about this place is the versatility of it. It feels like the kind of spot where you could do anything -- happy hour with friends, a birthday dinner, a corporate dinner, or even a family night out. I love that kind of diversity in a restaurant. Just 10/10 ambiance. And the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Honestly, writing this review is making me want to book a flight back to Cincinnati just to eat there again. Wow.

This time we were here on a Sunday, with Dewey's being one of the few sit down restaurants in Clifton open on Sunday. We wanted to meet up with friends for dinner before a show at Ludlow Garage. We arrived around 5:15 and the place was pretty empty. By the time we left it had filled up considerably. Dewey's is still as popular as ever. The restaurant was clean and the service was fantastic. Everyone who stopped by was smiling and helpful. Our drinks were regularly refilled. We ordered the Harvest Salad, which was fresh and tasty. I split with Mark, who ordered it with Ranch rather than the balsamic it usually comes with. I enjoyed it. Our friends also ordered the Harvest Salad and ate it all up. For those interested, the Harvest Salad is one of their current specials and is Field Greens, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Figs, Boursin Cheese, Nueske's Applewood Smoked Bacon, Housemade Apple Cider Vinaigrette Dressing. For dinner each couple ordered an 11" pizza. We ordered the DON CORLEONE - Red Sauce, Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Genoa Salami, Capicola Ham, Oregano. It was a lot of meat, which I guess is good, but it was filling. The crust was perfect. Even the edges were tasty. I did have a mishap while grabbing a piece. The pizza and the cardboard it was sitting on fell through the pizza holder. We salvaged it gracefully without needing assistance from the staff. While I enjoyed the pizza, I could have done with half as much. Our friends ordered the PORKY FIG - Fig Jam, Mozzarella, Fontina, Prosciutto, Caramelized Red Onions,Gorgonzola and really enjoyed it. Though we didn't watch, I like how the kitchen is behind glass. Pizza prep and baking is on full display. We have a Dewey's close to us. I talked to who I assume was the owner about the place and I liked everything I heard. Outside of the retail aspect of the place, he's already been selling pizzas to local businesses and bars in the area. He builds, cooks, and flash freezes the pies so they are ready to be popped in the ovens and served hot. That's a great idea. He also said that he wanted to start in a small space, get the Ghost Kitchen Pizza name out there, then aim higher in the future. Good thinking. Everything he said about the trajectory of where he's aiming looks like it's well thought out and not getting in too big too quickly, but eventually getting there. With this pizza, I'm sure that they will realize their goals. The crust is great. Not all floppy and doughy. The chew is just about perfect. The end crust takes just a little "gnaw" to bite through, but definitely not tough. The sauce was tasty, just about perfect for my tastes. A little sweet, and it was present like any other ingredient, it didn't get lost. I saw another review saying their sauce was a tad spicy, I didn't get that. It was a little sweet. For my first time, I got The Burr (pepperoni, sausage, bacon, banana peppers) at his suggestion, and it was a great suggestion! I love little places that have a passionate owner and workers, that's why I rarely(if ever) go to chain restaurants. You can just tell by a conversation with a local business owner that they have passion, and a game plan for their future. I heard about the giant 50 pound wheel of mozzarella they grate their own cheese from, and other quality stuff you will never hear from a chain restaurant employee. They aren't paid to care. This place wants to make you a quality meal so you tell your friends, and come back! So, friends, go here, eat well, thank me later. Recommended. Oh yeah: take-out only
