Not bad. Prices seem to high for quality of pizza. Could use more cheese, or have daily or weekly deals.

Your pizza is thin, flovorless, and lacks what makes a pizza, a pizza, a perfect balance of sauce and cheese.

I wanted to start with a "thank you" to the owners of the this business for the many many people…read moreyou served and feed on the night of April 2nd! I don't see any other yelpers on here commending you for the selflessness the staff exhibited that evening, and didn't expect them to as I felt quite embarrassed with the ungrateful attitudes displayed in the moment giving the fact it was being provided free of charge.....for that Ill say "I'm sorry I didn't express those thoughts in the moment!" It was a scary situation so I was just like your business being thoughtful and considerate everyone and really I was just happy to be safe with my child after the storm nearly hit us directly.... Now that the power was out myself and the community where into the 5-6 hour mark without electric and the thoughts of food and what todo about preparing it were a real issue on most neighbors minds. As I checked on some of the fellow powerless, storm survivors they proceeded to inform me of this restaurant in Eminence, named Puckett's had power and that they were taking orders for those in our area who had no power, not only that but they would deliver it to us, and to top it off, that it would be free of charge!! Now Understand Im lived here most of my life and have worked iin several industries including the food service one, I must say after living thru 2 hurricanes in Florida, (Matthew,Irma) I had never personally heard or experienced anything of the sorts....again thank you....and I must admit i haven't eaten at your place before or after....but that's not because of your service or food, but the intent to is there....as i write this Cant help but say thank you again.....now as I found this out thru the next door neighbor, they told me that they were about to place a order, and my daughter had ran my phone down so they said we will just let em know you are ordering with us....I am still feeling somewhat lost to the idea of what Im hearing but we order.....I really was needing a cold drink and got something for my lil one think it was a grilled cheese, and i got a taco salad.....we finished the order and was told it maybe some time but they would be there.....that they were filling a lot of orders for my community just be patient.....it was about a hour and a half after the order was placed but that's not important as they were already taking care of the others in my community that i noticed as early as 6:30 7ish pm.....then the call came in telling us that our order was in route i say about 9ish or so......and to please meet the driver outside to help process the orders little quicker... and within 5 min thats what was happening as they arrived just as the fire department was stopping in to inform and check on the members of my Community so it was awesome lick the light leading the way thanks to the fire dept as well told us to stay in place....but here is Pucketts and the food, to say I was emotional would be a understatement.....and i know me and my lil girl didn't worry about eating the remander of what was a very long and sleepless night....i just want to sat that ill never not think about the care exhibited by a family owned business called Puckett's whenever my power goes out from a storm ,or when i think about a taco salad..... as it was a true hero moment for so many of us ...And if the care for others isnt enough to show you they strive to provide the best results in all aspects of their operation then you are not interested in a great experience but addicted to the heartless fast food industry that wants to charge you for the sauce that should come with the meal.....Give Puckett's A look and taste and see heros at work!! ps they were delivering food till around 12am the 3rdf from what I observed for free....sorry mcd's is closing the window at closing no matter the what is happening, and without that receipts you be a paying no offence, just sayin Thanks again and i hope this review is rewarding in someway as the cold Dr.Pepper/Taco Salad ,Grilled Cheese was for Me and My Daughter!!

2/10/26 I came here for lunch as I was in town for work and…read moreso glad that I did. Heavens to Betsy was absolutely fantastic! The ambiance is very inviting and spacious, and the service was very quick and accomadating. I ordered the Reuben sandwich with the tomato basil soup, and both were fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The Reuben was piled high with meat. I had enough left over for another meal! I couldn't leave without trying the red velvet crinkle cookie, and I'm so glad I did. I saved it to share with my husband when I got home, and it was incredible. I found out the owner's daughter, a Culinary Institute graduate, made it, and you can definitely taste the quality. Everything was fresh, homemade, and absolutely worth the visit. I'll definitely be back!

It was a big group and they absolutely nailed it. The next time, we ordered ahead and it still took *forever*. We had to take it to go to make our distillery tour on time. It was thrown together, we didn't have utensils, and I have no idea why it took so long when it was not very busy. We waited significantly longer than the scheduled time and checked in with them multiple times while we waited at a table. They said they were working on it each time, and we only had 4 things in our order. It's not super cheap, and it was just disappointing as a whole. The food wasn't as good as the other times we'd been there and it seemed they just had a really off day.

My order is always correct and ready within the time frame I'm told, the staff is friendly and kind, and the food prep area (at least what I can see of it) is clean. My go to is the Garden Pizza on Cauliflower Crust. Extra veggies, add chicken, cooked well done. It's so good, especially with some hot sauce! The Pepperoni Pizza (on GF or CF) is also a favorite! My fiancé and his crew of farmers will have Hometown Pizza on occasion when working late during planting and harvest seasons. The personal pan pizzas with a drink are a huge hit with the team!

Updated review. Hometown was sold & since then the long slide has began. Honestly I have been here…read moreonce in 3 years. Took my daughter after school. You can tell when expenses have triggered everything from portions to service & I doubt they will survive. There was a time when you would get a thick crust hometown special and it was a heavy pizza. The sauce was savory, they use to sprinkle a nice concoction of spices to enhance the pizza toppings. You never had to order extra cheese because it was plentiful. At one time adults actually worked there and would check on you 3 or 4 times if you drank slot of soda they would bring you a pitcher when busy. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo is half the size it used to be and it looks like they took a chicken breast split it butterfly it in half and then cut that into strips so you're basically getting a quarter of a chicken breast the only thing that really hasn't changed are the breadsticks well, the price has changed. Before Hometown sold themselves, they did start having a all you could eat pizza and salad bar to bring in the lunch crowd and kind of beef up sales that worked for a while, but it kind of cheap in them and I realize they were trying to stay in competition with the takeout places hometown's always done. Well it's smaller venues like eminence once they've stepped into anything like Louisville market they can't compete now since they've been sold you can tell someone's doctoring with the formula quite a bit so to get back to the original story I ordered chicken fettuccine Alfredo and we also got a medium or excuse me rather a large, thick crust Hometown with pepperoni, bacon and and jalapeños what came out was it looked like they took one scoop of sauce and tried to stretch it as much as they could basically you would've had to actually order probably another 2 to 3 dollars worth of sauce to get what you used to get everything was sparse and no spices whatsoever. It was like eating soft cardboard or maybe like a really like Styrofoam or something. It was just no flavor and then you get the bill and you're gonna spend for two people north of 40 or $50 as far as service I had to actually walk up there and ask to have my drink refilled. That was it for me I knew it was over of course as of typing this review update going out to E is super Duper expensive because of the economy but when you can go get a frozen pizza and add a little cheese and some spices and it taste better or in our case, we just make homemade ones we make our own crust I can put as much sauce on as I want to. It's delicious. I can make a big giant pizza for under $10. I'm sure hate it because Hometown used to be magic. The one here ambulance was super special. I actually had friends who were like family to me that worked there and I knew people and they knew you now nobody even ask your name as a matter fact, most of the young people that were working there, including the manager or walking around grimacing, and and look like that, they were having a bad day
