This might be weirdest explanation on what my berry salad had going on. Usually salad dressing covers most tastes, but I went on the side and dipped. I wonder if this is all salads, but I detected a dusting of something on all my lettuce with every bite that dried my mouth and was just odd. Yet I kept eating. Wonder if there is substance that keeps the greens green longer or something, definitely weird. Garlic bread sticks were very strong and my car is safe from vampires within mile of me. I would like to start out by saying that I love blaze pizza, but this is unacceptable. When I was eating my pizza I noticed a hair sticking out, but not only was it sticking out it was inside of the pizza. I pulled out a full piece of hair. Under further examination I saw two more hairs of a different length and color. Furious I called customer service, when I told the lady what happened she seemed confused is to why I was calling her about hair in my pizza. I asked for the manager and they said I needed to bring it in so that they could verify the hair. I told them that that would not work. With all of this happening they never once apologized or showed any concern for this. All in all this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. First time to try Blaze. Located in a strip mall, plenty of parking. They have indoor and outdoor seating. You order from the counter, choose your menu item, (pizza, salad, cheese bread). They make your food right in front of you so you can customize and item. Pizza and cheese bread are cooked in a fire burn oven. Pay at the counter and take a seat and then they bring your food to you. I had the cheese bread which was ok but the salad was good and fresh and my friends art lovers pizza was enjoyed. My kid loves this place too much and I was pleasantly surprised to find myself liking it too after a couple visits. The thin crust pizzas are easy and quick, we love the lemonades and the restaurant is usually pretty clean. I really like Blaze! Years ago, I had been to the location near the mall but never to this one. When I came on a weekday evening, there were lots of families and high school kids dining outside and inside. The inside is large! So much seating. It's very open. The line was taking a while for some reason. One guy in front of me was very particular about his salad, which the staff messed up two times. I think the customer wasn't as assertive about what he wanted... The staff was nice though! They were all likely younger than me, but when I spoke to them and joked around they eased up some. My sister and I built our own pizzas. I got mozzarella with pep, bacon, basil, oregano, garlic, and tomatoes. Yum! My sister got mozzarella, tomato, chicken, sausage, bacon, spinach, oregano, roasted garlic, balsamic, and pesto. Very fresh tasting! My mom got BBQ chicken, which had chicken, mozzarella, onion, banana peppers, Gorgonzola, and a drizzle of BBQ. She enjoyed it! Overall, great place with great prices. I was ignorant concerning Blaze pizza until my church sponsored a fund raising event by partnering with Blaze. In other words as many times as I have been in the paddocks shops, I did not even know they had a location... So when the appointed time for the fund raiser came, I got online and ordered a couple of pizzas. I found their web site to be easy to navigate, easy to add and subtract toppings and overall a superior website to most pizza places. I ordered the 11" Meat eaters, I added banana peppers, mushrooms, black olives and Italian Sausage.. My wife wanted the white top with chicken... I placed my order, selected my pickup time... So after I left my office I headed over to pick up my Pizzas... I arrived a few minutes before my requested time, walked in just as they were placing my pizzas up on the shelf for pick up.... I was thanked for my order and I left.... Got home and my wife and I were surprised at just how good they were... I do not know what I was expecting, but not the quality pizza I was eating... I really enjoy this location. I have been to a few different blazes, but this one never disappointments. They were slammed when I was there, but the service was still top notch. They apologized over and over for the wait, but I didn't even mind. They keep the place clean from what I can see (it could be different where the workers are). And of the toppings that actually made it on the pizza (my shredded mozzarella is entirely MIA), they're all in a pile, right smack-dab in the center. With exactly three basil leaves for color, I guess. For an 11" pie to have a slice that's got nothing on it but cheese and a second with exactly two olives, that's pretty shoddy work. Not sure what's happening over there. Tried to call and discuss it and they can't even be bothered to pick up the phone. Might be worth going somewhere else - especially if you're ordering pick-up. Blaze is probably one of my favorite build-your-own pizza chains that I've come across so far. It's like the Subway of pizzas. I love how they train their employees to ask you questions including your name, I think it's very polite and gives a nice personal touch! For the amount of pizza they give you, it's really not as unhealthy as you'd think. I tried the Red Vine pizza, one that is already made up, and the entire pizza was about 640 calories. Plus, it tasted so fancy with olive oil drizzled on top, and you can tell they pay attention to detail when making your pizza. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water again!! read more

Home made pizza without the mess. That is what I think of Blaze. The menu has a number of pizza combinations, but I am a do your own gal. They have a large number of fresh sauces, cheeses, meats and veggies to please the simplest and discriminating gourmet tastes. Plus, a super hot stone oven that cooks your pizza quickly. They also have a thicker crust which my daughter prefers. My favorite includes their thin crust covered all the way to the rim with pesto, then marinara sauce, mozzarella and ricotta cheese. Then for the meats two turkey meatballs for this girl. Then I go crazy with the veggies. Spicy banana peppers, mushrooms, artichokes, roasted red peppers and Greek olives top my pie. Yum! It comes traditionally cut and you can top it with oregano, Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes to taste at the table. It is a generous individual pizza that depending on your hunger level you can eat all, or they offer leftover boxes. Other notable choices are pizza knots, a variety of seasonal salads, cookies, and brownies. They offer a limited variety of adult beverages, and sodas, but where they win my heart is the agua frescas. My favorite is mango, but I have been known to mix the other flavor in if they go together. I make a mean home made pizza from scratch, but I don't own a stone oven. So when I want the feeling of a home made pizza to taste but the crust that a stone baked pizza has, my choice is Blaze. read more
