We found her to be very nice but overpriced, over talkative, and not professional. Our appointment was at 1:30pm and she arrived at 1:35 with her lunch in hand. We had to wait outside until she unlocked the door. Her desk was a mess and she had trouble finding the intake form. We had to wait longer while she set up. It might just be my standards, but I think it shows professionalism and seriousness when the workspace is clean, clear and ready for business when your client arrives, especially to make a good first impression. Then, during the facial, while the mask was setting, she made a personal phone call where we could overhear her discussion. The extractions were quite painful and my daughter winced and moved her feet quite a bit to get through it. The appointment itself was close to 2 hours long. Once again, Denyse was friendly and I like her integrative approach but overall we do not recommend nor will be returning.

Every time I have to explain to doctors and nurses about the damage they caused at balfour…read moredermatology to my face and under eye I have to relive the experience I realize that they used a thick type of filler I believe it's called the Rh filler under my eyes and no doctors or nurses or med spas say that that is allowed to be used in the under eye area. Yet, Balfour Dermatology not only used it, but forced me to buy it as a package deal where three or four FULL amounts were injected into my face at the same time in one day! The stuff of nightmares! The procedure was extremely painful more pain than anything I've ever felt in life. In addition, the practitioner was not the nicest and I learned was not trained to use that type of filler! I asked her if she had ever gotten fillers and she laughed mockingly and said no, " and I would never because I see what you all go through." That was not something to say to make me feel better about the experience. I only came to do this because I was experiencing some issues from having a dental implant put in and I was told to go to a dermatologist in the area to help find a solution. Now, over four years later and I still am too embarrassed to take pictures, Take part in family photos and missed so many events, weddings, graduations, etc. because of the damage done to my face. Two graduations ceremonies from Ivy Leagues where I'm wearing sunglasses in all the formal ceremonies. One valedictorian ceremony - sunglasses even at night. Very upsetting. They were also very belittling when I asked for a solution they wanted to just charge me for adding more filler, etc. ( the Dermatologist suggested MORE filler) they sold me GNC bottles of vitamin C and told me to take allergy pills. All of the staff became very rude and almost mocking. I have spent so much money at other offices to try to find a solution years of red light therapy, lymphatic drainage, massage, laser, and even having to pay to dissolve the filler at other more professional offices has helped me, but still there has been so much damage done to my face with migration issues etc. Now, the nurses and doctors that see me elsewhere cannot believe that balfour Dermatology did such unprofessional things to me and didn't help. In fact, the dermatologist at balfour over a video call refused to help and ask me to go elsewhere. His literal words were " since your daughter attends Stanford why you just continue to go to Stanford and find help there." I've lost thousands of dollars because of this unprofessional office. I drive hours away to find reputable professional help. Such a huge regret and loss of money coming here.
