Extremely poor service, and even worse recovery from a situation that went bad. Bought a radiator on Friday 8:35 in the morning, paid 3 day select delivery and now almost a week later, it has yet to arrive. Called to complain, and suggested a refund on the up-charge for 3 day delivery was appropriate, and was met with multiple excuses from Denise - first contact in customer service, and when I asked to speak to a supervisor (Andrew) he got on the phone with the announcement "do you want to explain again, or do you want to hear my decision?" - Wow! Didn't really want to to listen, did he? Careful - others may like these folks - maybe the ones who walked into their storefront. But be wary of ordering anything from them with shipping involved! The story goes like. We wake up to drive to sonic to pick up some car parts, all there entrances are locked. So we decide to take the exit into them shop. Super getto looking place. Has one of the workers motorcycle parked in the entrance, YES, in the walkway! Wth? We go inside and they have nothing we wanted. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! STAY AWAY! Excuses excuses and more excuses!!!! I ordered a set of rim from these chumps and put down a deposit. They confirmed a delivery date with the manufacture. It was later then pushed 2 weeks out. Fine. Then the day of delivery, they tell me my set of rims came in but the bolt pattern was not correct. It turned out the bolt pattern was indeed correct (5x114). Then they give me another excuse that they only recieved the fronts and the rears (staggered set) did not come in. WTF? They said my set of rims came in but bolt pattern was wrong. OMG! so upsetting! They said they have no idea whenthe rears are going to be in since they are on backorder. Hell, if they didnt jack up my order and was on top of things, maybe this wouldnt happen. ugh! I waited a good 2 months for this and now they tell me this crap? And on top of this, no incentives to keep my business. I am really pissed off on how they handled my order. So disorganized, kept giving me the run around and full of $hit! BUYER BEWARE! I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS EVER AGAIN. I have a strong prescene in the car scene both online and offline, this rant will not stop here. went here awhile ago and the experience was pretty bad. I came here to purchase a set of Varrstoen wheels and Megan coilovers and they didn't have the offset that I wanted so I put down a deposit. They told me they should have it by two weeks. Well 2 weeks went by and I never got an update. I called them up after 2 1/2 weeks and they told me that it will take longer than they expected. Another week later, one of the worker (I forgot his name, but he was a forum rep at Club Lexus) told me that the coilovers were in. I told him I'll come in the next day since I was busy that day. Before I was about to head there the next day, I gave them a call to make sure they had it. Then he tells me there was a mistake and he doesn't have it and says I will have to wait another two weeks. The funny part is I go on the forums and I see the representative selling the last coilover he had in stock. I'm assuming that's the one that was for me, but he sold it even though I had a deposit down. Now it's been a month so I call them up to see what's taking so long to get these parts. He then tells me the company for the wheels will take another month because they're all out and said the coilovers won't be there for another 2 weeks again. So I told him to cancel the wheels and coilovers and he tries to get me to purchase something else with that money instead. I always wanted to go turbo in my Lexus and he told me he can get a turbo kit within 3 days. So guess what happened? The same crap again. They fooled me twice and I'm not going to get fooled a third time so I drove there (an hour drive) to get a refund for my deposit. It turns out the original guy that was helping me doesn't work there anymore and he's working somewhere else. It doesn't look like he was fired or anything. And none of the workers there seem to know what I'm talking about. And I'm getting pissed because they have my money. But luckily one of the workers recognized me and said I have to come back another day to get the refund because only the manager can authorize that. So I just wasted a damn hour driving there because of all the bs they keep feeding me and had to drive there again 2 days later. I finally managed to get my money back, but mad they kept onto my money for nearly 2 months and fed me lies during those times. I give them 2 stars because I was at least able to buy some HID lights the same day and the guy I was dealing with seemed like a cool person. I just don't know wtf was going on with the constant delays, and they never kept me updated on the parts. All I can say is, if you're purchasing something from these days, make sure they have it in stock. If they don't, do not trust them to deliver those parts in time. read more

This review is a long time coming. I purchased an O-Nex HID headlight kit for my Subaru from Sonic Motor back in October 2010. I got it for a great price and for $10 bucks more I got a lifetime warranty on it. The unit functioned great and performed better than I expected. Come April 2014 and my right light bulb goes out. I emailed Karl at Sonic Motor, he found my profile in their records and told me that the bulbs are covered under my warranty. A few days later I drove down to their shop, and he gladly exchanged my old bulbs for new ones. Karl even took the liberty of taking out a battery to test the new bulbs on my HID ballasts which still worked great. Their customer service is top notch and I will always be going to them for my lighting needs. read more

Sold me a lemon! I bought my daughter a used Volvo in February to be her first car. She had her permit and would be taking the driving test after getting the car. After signing the As/Is form I drove the car home on the 605 freeway and it felt wobbly. My other daughter has the exact same car, so I know how it should feel. Also, when my daughter was out practicing her driving before taking her test, we noticed the car would completely shift by just driving over street reflectors. After having the car for two weeks, I decided to take the car in to have the oil changed. When the mechanic called me in to pick up the car, he told me there were puddles of oil on the engine!!! This car was sold in an ad that said it was in perfect mechanical order. I took the car to my regular mechanic and he was shocked. There was oil everywhere!!! He also noticed that someone had put silicone over the solenoid in order to cover for the fact that there was oil leaking. He said he would start by replacing the solenoid and valve to see if that would stop the profuse oil leakage. It didn't!!! A week later the air-conditioning belt just slipped off and dragged 4 feet behind the car all the way from the engine compartment. The timing belt was saturated with oil and so were the spark plugs. Those were replaced, as well as more valves. Hoping after spending all that money to get those repairs done that we would finally have a car for my daughter to drive, the car blows a head gasket!!! In addition, my mechanic told me the front wheels were a turn and a half away from falling off. It is so sad that someone could sell a car to a brand new driver that would put her in so much danger! Zach also didn't send the two hubcaps he promised to send that were not on the car when we purchased it, Presently, the car sits at the shop torn apart after spending a couple thousand in repairs and will cost me at least $3000 more to repair. At this point, the car may very well end up in the junk yard with thousands of dollars thrown away and a girl who just graduated from high school having no car to drive herself to and from her college classes that start next month. It is a sad world we live in where people profit by swindling young people out of money. read more
