When we arrived there were unfortunately no sales associates available to help us, which was surprising given it was a Saturday afternoon. There was one sales person working at the time but he was helping someone else, so one of the service techs tried to assist as best as possible. He was extremely friendly and directed us to the models that would most likely be a best fit for our needs. Once the sales associate got freed up, he started working with my husband and me. Unfortunately about a half hour into our progress we were passed off again to another sales associate. It was a little frustrating to have to re-start our conversations and explain what we needed to so many different people. Once we got settled with the associate who would ultimately take us through the purchase process, there was a lot of up-selling going on. I can't tell you how many times I had to say "no" to a water bottle cage or bike bells. The one thing that happened that dropped my rating down a star involves the bike mount. We originally wanted a bike hitch rack, and were told repeatedly that it needed to be 2". It was even the one thing that I physically wrote down before I left the store. Unfortunately it turns out that they don't make a 2" trailer hitch for my car, and when I called Trek to request a trunk rack instead I was told, oh, a 1.25" hitch would be fine. After calling 4 different installers to try to get an appropriate hitch only to find out that I was given the wrong size to start, I was exasperated and over the entire thing. You should also know the hitch installer they work with "down the road" gave the most expensive quote of anyone I spoke with. Anyway, I ultimately got a trunk rack and was able to pick up my bikes. I am not sure if I'll make the effort to return to this particular location considering there are others closer to my house, but in the end, I got what I needed.

Eager to find a way to continue my ride I searched on-line for the closest bike shop which happened to be Circle Cycle not too far away. I hadn't heard about this shop before because I haven't been riding to frequently over the last couple of years. When I got there, I was instantly greeted by the shop's the shop's two owners who were extremely polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. They graciously supplied me with a new tube and even offered the tools needed so I could fix my tire quickly because I was in a rush to get back on those trails! I enjoyed having knowledgeable conversation about the history of their shop, upcoming events and races in the surrounding areas, and an outline of their shop's setup. While there, I took notice of their bike's they had for sale which offers a wide range from startup, mid-range, and even the elite high-end. Their parts, equipment, and supplies covered everything a beginner, novice, and expert's would need. I highly recommend all bike enthusiasts to check this shop out as soon as you can. Definitely not a great experience...brought my E-bike rear wheel to be trued/tensioned, as I broke…read morea few spokes after hitting a massive Philly pothole, and this guy proceeded to rip spokes off of my wheel and said it was unfixable. He said it would cost over $180-$200 to fix it, and that I was better off just getting a whole new motor and wheel. Instead, I brought it to my trusted bike shop that I used to live near, and those guys took great care of it, explaining that the 3 broken spokes had to be replaced, but that re-tensioning the wheel would actually take care of the other loose spokes. And it all cost under $50! Definitely stay away from this place!
